Nice video, explains well the differences! Great job. I did own a Anytone AT-D878UV II Plus (V3) "handheld" but sold it buying both TYT uv-390gps and Tyt MD-9600gps. Both installed with Opengd77. Why? The analog usage of the opengd77 is much better than the Anytone, and I use the satellite function. Also APRS tracking with the opengd77 software works fine, no APRS receive, only transmit! Another big overlocked benefit of the MD-9600 with opengd77 is that you can used it as DMR hotspot (full power if allowed, please check your local regulations on this!). Yes GPS is bit crappy and DMR programming also, so if do not use lot of analog, DMR hotspot or satellite go for the Anytone as solid choice.
