I almost have this tank in my lineup and honestly once i started playing abrams using abrams tactics they arent a bad tank. Hull down, hide the lfp, move to cover when rellading, use the commander optic to range and acquire, dont push leave that to leopards. I will say it definitely should get the M829A3 with the anti-ERA tip because literally every non NATO country covers their tanks in ERA that somehow have a kinetic energy protection level. Meanwhile the Abrams only gets 5 mm of kinetic protection from its era

Bvm, b3, t73b3 and t90m have 2 layers of relikt on the side, so 1200mm of protection against chemicals and like 250mm for cinetic. They buffed as fuck those commie tanks
Going to bet, SEPv3 will not be an improvement, rather an actual downgrade, like this (SEPv2) piece of shit being just 4tons heavier with nothing useful going for it.

After the new update I have sep v2 and the chaparel to research and either one I select and however many battles I play no research goes into either. All other nations in the game still research vehicles but american ground is broken for me and cannot make progress in researching anything????
Too bad US top tier is such a mess right now, I'll grind the SEP V2 playing 11.0 cus that's where US is really good at, you get constant downtiers against Russia and you can win so many games while 11.7 you're guaranteed to lose a lot of games in a row.

Because the ERA on the Abrams was designed to take on Infantry Anti-Tank, tbh they should've just give the Sepv2 APS
