- In the mid 2010s, the German government backtracked on plans to reduce the size of the armored force in the Bundeswehr. Instead, a plan was formulated with Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann, the manufacturer of the Leopard 2 MBT, to produce additional vehicles under a new and improved standard.
The Leopard 2A7V, as it became known, featured improved protection thanks to a modular armor package bolted on the front of the hull as well as improved optics and a new transmission adapted to the increased weight. The new vehicle was officially presented in October 2019 and entered service with the Bundeswehr in September 2021. Presently, all 104 Leopard 2A7Vs ordered by Germany are in active service with the Bundeswehr.

Set the keybinding bro,open control,ground vehicles,search nightvision then u can just set N keybind
But ur tank must have Thermal vision device

Hi, there were a lot of events where you could get paratroopers for free, at the moment you can buy premium paratroopers in the shop.

If you like mobility, firepower and decent armor, definitely the leopard 2a7.
If you like to be relatively tougher and with less weak points and exaggerated resistance to HEAT projectiles, the t-90m.
leo is real upgrade, while t90m is sidegrade compared to t80bvm
Why don't I get fights like this? I live for a maximum of 5-6 minutes and manage to make 1 or 2 kills, after which I am destroyed by a plane or helicopter with a missile.
Most of my battles are the same as yours 😁✌
Why does Leopard 2 have so many different models?
I guess it has to do with the money germany is allowing to spend for developing costs as well as many country use the Leopard and need them for different scenarios
@@chodonas Germany itself isnt funding the Leopard 2 program. Rheinmetall and KMW are just updating it constantly - gotta remember that this tank is now almost 50 years old.

The first Leopard2 entered service in the early 1980´s and has been modified since that. Instead of making Leopard 2,3,4 etc. (there is also the Porsche 911+Gen. and no Porsche 912, 913, 914, etc.). They decided to name it Leopard 2A# and the # changes with every upragde. There was a mayor change in the version 2A4 version A and B. Leopard 2 1-4a have their max upgarde level at Leopard 2A4a. The Leopard 2A4b can be upgraded up to Leopard 2A7V. The new Leopard 2A8 is also again a newly design and Leopard 2A4b can not be upgraded to Leopard 2A8, the A8 has to be completely new build.
Other Leopard like the M version or UC have special fittings. The M version has a extra mine/IED protection under the belly, the UC versions (urban combat) have the shorter L44 barrel as the L55 barrel is impractical in narrow streets.

The leopard engine sounds in this game are one of the few engines they get exactly right in it’s sound

Spinning turbos - the Leopard 2 has turbo charged engines and the turbos are clearly to hear, esp. if the rpm is fallen and the waste gate open.
