7. Cruising Along The Oxford Canal.

- From Rugby, I continue along the picturesque North Oxford Canal to Hawkesbury Junction. This is a tranquil section of the canal, scenic but also narrow and shallow in places. I find a great spot to moor for a night then as I approach Hawkesbury Junction I start to think about where to go next, should I continue northwards or head south. As a continuous cruiser, it's good to have both the time and the choice of where to go.

I think your verbal editing is in error. Newbold tunnel is after Hillmorton locks
You're right I passed through Newbold Tunnel after leaving Rugby and passed through Hillmorton Locks on my way to Rugby.
