So glad you did this and I found this, lol. Been trying to find a review/dyno of this amp for a long time. Looking to get this amp for my tweeters. Was so worried about it with the low cost. Great to see it's a good quality amp! Thanks so much, and hope to see more!
Still have my old ca150 memphis. Rated 2×75 and does well over. Did it's numbers, a lot like the cobalt series but honest ratings for the memphis. Nice review ty sir for sharing. Hope you have a fabulous Sunday 🤞
@stereomojo it is a single 4 ohm sub which is perfect for this Amp since the Amp is 2 ohm stereo and 4 ohm mono or bridged and I've got it in a ported box I built that is 1.86 cu.ft.and it sounds killer it surprised me
If your looking to do something like this the box is 20x16x13.5 outside dimensions and the port is 2x12x19 but what makes this box killer is the fact its 2" port 11" in and 2.75" 8" at the turn no port noise at all pure bass really nice
I'm about to put this on my UA-cam channel look for it just look up 10" Blaupunkt subwoofer and u can see the Amp subbox the whole setup and hear it thank you
@@stereomojo No problem. I intentionally take a break just to see what you upload next. Highlight of the day, even if the amp wouldn't do a terrific job of powering my tweeters, lol.
@@DustmanDiagnostics I didn’t upload at consistent days/times, but I like doing it that way now. I also didn’t stay a week ahead with my videos. That helps a ton! I shot next week’s video yesterday.
@@stereomojo Plenty of time for editing and/or retakes. I understand that takes a vast majority of the time. My son has a channel that he uploads to quite often, 8 hours to edit a 15 minute video??? Glad I don't record 8 hour vehicle repairs, no thanks.
Great video, as always 👍 Can you do a review of the Harmony Audio HA-A800.1 mono block amp ? I've never heard of them making automotive amps before , they have made guitar amps since the 70's. I saw it on Amazon at $149.95 and am interested in it to power 1 12" sub . Wondering if it's a budget banger or a budget bust .
@stereomojo any time and ty as well . Sorry that it took me a bit to respond. I was finishing up a full 2 amp stereo upgrade in my wife's 4runner. Replaced the old crappy stock JBL system.
Memphis used to be great and just like many companies they fell off alil bit. They're higher lines of woofers and amps perform very well tho. That thing would run door speaks or a set of 6x9s pretty good.
@@stereomojo if he could get the right ohm load it would push front and rear decent. I have a set of Skar 6.5s and a set of kicker cs 6.5s and that amp would run either no problem.
That's crazy $42 for a Memphis Amp. I'd like to think a simple good sounding amp would be these guys over many others. Shit you could get two of those and run one each side of your car at 2 Ohm for a much better than OEM system! And not have to spend much. Just about every after market piece of stereo epqt. is better than OEM still to this day. Truly sad.

Loved my old memphis power reference 12's i had over 15yrs ago. They were surprisingly loud and shook everything. Never had an amp from them tho
That’s cool!
I have that amp. Used to be in my truck pushing an 8 inch sub. It got down pretty good.
The viv series are also recently on sale . Id like to see the 2200. Tested
I've got this Amp running a single 10" Blaupunkt and it sounds killer great Amp for the money
How many ohms is that sub? Single 4?

Having a good deal means a lot!
Yep ,the price was paid cheaply. When they first came out with them, the price was . $200
Wow, this amp was $200 at first?
The only reason to be awake at 0500 PST.
lol. Thanks Dustin!

I agree. The guy that bought it is going to put it on his door speakers.

What kind of mini sub box is that? Is it to switch between sealed and bass tube?
Yes
