THIS IS INSANE i love it so much. The contrast between how Scott and Gem treat Pearl in life makes me FERAL. You show it so well with the finger camera framing: how Scott sees Pearl bloody and surrounded by everyone else, coldly protecting him, while Gem sees her alone and scared. And don't get me started on the PINNED VS FREED MOTH this is incredible.

Happy eyes, happy mouth, then just the eyes change and everything becomes insane glee, and then just the mouth changes and everything becomes betrayal and uncertainty. Adoooooooooor the character designs. 1:05 I love how Pearls ears look like both moth antenna and wolf ears, and your Gem design is iconic. I was focusing on the subtitles and then looked up at the art at 2:11 and from only looking at the hands I realized that was Gem, 'cause I remember your Gem design so well. 1:28 Love how we never see Scott's eyes. Really nice touch. Somehow makes his squishy almost Steven Universe-esk design still look sinister. Fantastic! 2:32 Love the dancing! 2:28 Big wallpaper energy right there! And yes, I love your interpretation and it's absolutely right, but also it's how Pearl holds onto her Scarlet persona and shows it off to scare people even though it was born from what others (esp Scott) said about her and her leaning into it almost as a way to protect herself when she was left all alone in DL. Like how Scarlet Pearl is brought out again in LimL to scare people (though to not too much effect), and the same thing again in SL where Gem just admired her upon seeing it

I loved the symbolism, the motif of Pearl and Tilly walking on the earth but its got all the double life buildings and how when zoomed out its not earth, its actually the moon. I thought I imagined it for a second when I saw Gem in a few shots man, those GemPearl feels go hard man! And I love the little walk Tilly does on the roating earth/moon scene, its adorable! Moth-like Pearl was a stunning design, she's so cute and vulnerable in this shot, and it show her desperation for chasing Scott attention. And speaking of Scott, the shadow of him being Pearl throughout the video represent so well his omnipresent presence in Pearl descent to madness. A stunning animatic, with incredible animations too. Holy shit this is my new favorite thing on UA-cam they way the line of wolves represents her remaining lives to the pins representing being killed by her soulmate bond to the hands making a box that give that hunger games like feeling like this is all a show to gem being there trying to help pearl through what appears to be traumatic flashbacks, which also feeds into the chaotic insanity portrayed in pearls view of double life to the ART HOLY SHIT
Oooh I love this!!! The designs, Moth!Pearl and all of the wolves, the poses and expressions! I love how Pearl gets more unhinged as it goes on. This song choice for Scott, Gem and Pearl fits so damn well!!!!!! I really loved the blood dripping down at 1:20 to show the sad expression, it looks so good! AND THE MOTH AND PEARL BEING PINNED DOWN!?!??! Also I gasped at seeing full on dog Ren at 1:56, I LOVE that design!!!!!! I do think maybe the Soulmates should have been on either side of her instead of random pairs, but eh. ALSO OMG DEER CENTAUR GEM, YESSSS. Another thing; holy shit those wolves are drawn so damn well, the anatomy is amazing.
Thank you so much for all the compliments! The people to pearl's sides during that segment with Ren were specifically people who contributed to ostracizing her upon being presented with the image of a witch that Scott constructed. Ren outright called her crazy and told her to leave, Joel acted similarly, Jimmy was afraid of her and eventually shooed her away too when she wanted to be friends, Bdubs was similarly fearful and referred to her as crazy, and Martyn and Cleo I think are obvious. Other members like BigB, Tango etc didn't regard Pearl nearly as strongly so they're not as relevant

This is amazing dear I love it so much!! Dear @muri9993 said it all, personally I loved the moth, especially the moment where it got pinned and Pearl got pinned too, then when her wings go domaged representing the damage to the mind of Pearl as the madness set in. Moth-like Pearl was a stunning design, she's so cute and vulnerable in this shot, and it show her desperation for chasing Scott attention. And speaking of Scott, the shadow of him being Pearl throughout the video represent so well his omnipresent presence in Pearl descent to madness.

Holy shit this is my new favorite thing on UA-cam they way the line of wolves represents her remaining lives to the pins representing being killed by her soulmate bond to the hands making a box that give that hunger games like feeling like this is all a show to gem being there trying to help pearl through what appears to be traumatic flashbacks, which also feeds into the chaotic insanity portrayed in pearls view of double life to the ART

I really loved the blood dripping down at 1:20 to show the sad expression, it looks so good! AND THE MOTH AND PEARL BEING PINNED DOWN!?!??! Also I gasped at seeing full on dog Ren at 1:56, I LOVE that design!!!!!! I do think maybe the Soulmates should have been on either side of her instead of random pairs, but eh. ALSO OMG DEER CENTAUR GEM, YESSSS.

The people to pearl's sides during that segment with Ren were specifically people who contributed to ostracizing her upon being presented with the image of a witch that Scott constructed. Ren outright called her crazy and told her to leave, Joel acted similarly, Jimmy was afraid of her and eventually shooed her away too when she wanted to be friends, Bdubs was similarly fearful and referred to her as crazy, and Martyn and Cleo I think are obvious. Other members like BigB, Tango etc didn't regard Pearl nearly as strongly so they're not as relevant
