December, 1944. In the city of Bastogne, Belgium, during the Battle of the Bulge, American soldiers primarily from the 101st Airborne Division, but also from the 969th Artillery Battalion, and Combat Command B of the 10th Armored Division, were surrounded by Germans.

Buddhi Ciancio Merry Christmas Buddhi Handsome. Dont let that into your mind. Be mentally strong for you. Be as alive as you possibly can. From Ireland, take life one day at a time and do not compare what you are doing at this time or what you have or have not , because people are wasteful and glutinous at this time. Selfishness comes out at this time also. We have a major homelessness problem over here in Dublin. Im just grateful I have hot water, warm bed and food in my fridge to give my son and myself a nice Christmas. Its not shopping like crazy that makes it meaningful to me. Its a normal sort of day but loneliness can overcome some people at this time. I will be thinking of you for the next couple of days and I hope you stay strong. There is love in your heart. That is your strength in you. Be good to yourself and take good care of those thoughts and don't let them in. Love and best wishes for 2018 my friend. X

Where there is darkness, light will meet it. Many people do not understand sacrifice, or struggle. Those men fought for the good of America and the European countries. The hardships they endured, the pain, the loss, the hunger, the hate, the emptiness they felt in moments when they wanted to give up never came out, they put their heads down and and asked for more. "When the guns ran out of ammo, they used their knives, when the knives went dull, they used their fists, a force of 3000 men couldn't handle the tenacity of 200"
Those men's gift that Christmas was life, and they used it the best they could.
Proud to be an American, our spirit never dies. Keep slogging soldiers.

Dirk Diggler A third of Americans identify as Mexican.
You're a dying people in a dying country whose best threw away their lives for nothing. The same people who Americans saved spent the next 50 years killing American boys.
A third of Americans identify as Mexican.
      Let that sink in.

Iain H i could care less what a third of american citizens consider themselves, as long as at least 3% of us understand what being an American is about, Ill have a Merry Christmas this year. The,loop to the embodied criste.tho,i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and as we never shall depart i will fear no evil.the corpus as Christ had been pierced and Christy, and was body to Christ too.and mother's prevail, father's corpus, and to death do we part.
For madom, for we art tho to fear evil, and tho art here to art fear for fear itself is the only artform ever.and Christmas came. God is here for you today but for twilight is near and ye should not fear today at all.
I see war and hate all day long, and the streets aren't any better even after it's fiftieth year.and as afro dietitian,is the diet region of belief that corpus Christi,as pro quo.and whom told the bell to ring for just you.go ye to the watchtower, and see if ye found fear did it blow,or did the break come from the winds past.

Two,tho hast become a great intervention of a time pass, future is told in harmony, and in the it's description is Hamlet itself.and crime to otday be for told as things may depart from or to itself.
How is it that Christmas is any better than just the tree,or for told truth, and what is proquo for you i say.now did it snow, for bow the wind and rain and land and air.air is the wind and the wind is only still.what day this is,to know Christmas, and for me the bell tolls everywhere.so,as i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i fear no evil, the master said ye girls yourself on course to entry and all shall be just okay, your sure master, the reply was is that everyday is Christmas and ever entry may enter and no door is actually there i found that to be very real.art is what is and for some Christmas isn't Jewish and for some it is.gid bless and have happy Christmas too

On December 23rd 1944 my grandfather and his buddies in the 325nd GIR (glider infantry regiment) 82nd Airborne held the Baraque-Frait crossroad on the south flank vs the waffen SS counter attack. despite being out numbered 43, 500 plus 1250 pieces of armor to 8250. despite having to retreat on Dec 24th they regrouped in the coming days where they inflected much damage on the Germans.

The steadfastness in the boys who were out there in the freezing cold, away from anything familiar, with full understanding of the danger that surrounded them at Bastogne is beyond humbling. My daughter will listen to this today and, hopefully, so will many others. Thank you for sharing this us.
