Thanks Deb! I am excited to use this laser more. I think it can assist with work that my tremors make it hard to do. Once again, thanks so much for watching and hope you are doing well.
This was a total surprise to me. I am far from an authority on lasers but I am totally hooked on this one. I am having so much fun with it and plan to come up with some really cool ideas from it. thanks so much for watching.
Hi Gene, impressive and inspirational gadget. I have watched a couple reviews of this laser now, "Danier Made" just got one too. Your link is cheaper than even the manufacturers website and i recon i would have bought it on the spot except i have just blown my budget for the next decade on some new saws, including a SawStop.
@@DIYGene we only have two sawstop distributers in our country and one rep would you believe. And they wont order it for me before i speak to that person would you believe. i may end up buying a cheaper saw, a jointer and one of these lasers lol.
Thanks for watching another! I am really excited about this laser. I am getting a lot of new ideas to use it and it lets me get even more detailed than I could have with my shaking hands. Thanks again for watching.
@@DIYGene Gene your videos are amazing and you sir are even more amazing. I kinda noticed you seemed to be shaking a bit more than some of the other videos you have done past i've watched. I thought maybe your cold, it's been unusually chilly for this time of year for many LOL but I was wondering if you ever tried the keto or carnivore diet to see if you can get any relief from your shaking and maybe other symptoms you may have from your underlying health issues and such. I did it for a long time and though like any diet I would cheat and feel the negative effects but eating that way had helped me and I know it can still though the insanity of addiction and my symptom being food and I have to eat is I eat what is in front of me and I have family members who do as they do and then here I am LOL
I agree and I am looking at the expansion kit that will give me a larger area. I also what to check out cut more materials. I cut some 1/2” sentra and it flew through it.
Wow Gene, that really is amazing! You said you cut acrylic with it. I wonder if it would cut guitar pickgaurd material, without melting the edges. That sure would save a lot of time, cutting out the pickup holes. They take me forever to do. Thanks for the review. Take care!🙂
Hello Dart Man, I am sure it will cut pickgaurd material fine. I have some so I will try it and let you know. Also how cool would it be to engrave cool designs on a guitar body or even the head stock?
Thanks Gene, great video. It looks like big potential in that little machine. I wonder how it would etch marble tile? Ceramic, marble and granite flooring installers throw away scrap pieces from cutoffs by the ton. Maybe etch black granite and fill in the groves with white epoxy grout? Hell now that I think about it. You could get new full 12"x 12"x 3/8 thick black or any color marble or granite tile and make designs in them. For wet/slip areas like showers and bathtubs leave the grove unfilled for traction on the feet. Just some thoughts. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your projects and experiments. They come out awesome. PS. I really like the refrigerator project. I should always drink coffee before I make comments in the morning. Best regards.☕🌄👍
Hi Gene. Thank you for inspiring me to get out and use my laser again. I can't wait for this weekend. Keep up the great work!
I’m so glad it inspires you. Please let me know if you have any ideas you might like to share. Thanks so much for watching.
Awesome! So cool! Never even thought about a laser cutter...now I want one!!!
Hi Charmaine, This laser is so cool. I have been staying up all night playing with it. This laser is addicting.
Very cool machine Gene! Excited to see what else you do with it. Btw…Shop Cat pic with safety glasses is a classic 😂

Incredible, that this tech exist on a consumer level - thanks for sharing
Chris, I’m having a ball with it.
Very inspiring as all your video , keep up your good work dude.
Thank you so much and thanks for watching.
Thanks Gene. I have been a little hesitant to get a Lazer cutter, but I have really wanted one. This looks like the one for me.

Oh wow, SawStop is the best! Can’t blame you for that! LOL.

Love my LM2 but did move onto a large CO2 for serious work. These new gen of diodes are looking seriously good
I’m so new to the game. How do you like the CO2?
Wow...
Thanks again for watching.
Thanks Gene! Great to see you again in another of your great videos. This review makes me want one of these for so many things now. Awesome!

Would love to see how it performs with different thickness of EVA foam. Even better if there is 24x24 inch model.

Great video how do ya get ahold of the company to order a Lazer
I have put a link in the description down below. Thanks so much for watching.
Would u be able to use this on metal? Unbelievable amount of options
It will engrave on metal, even stainless. I am still finding all kinds of things to do with it.
@@DIYGene It won't engrave metal. You can burn off paint or anodization on metal or mark it with special products like cermark.

@@DIYGene Thanks Gene. That would be cool to make designs on bodies and headstocks. That machine would make it so easy and accurate, too!
I wish I would have had it when I made my Acustisonic. I could have cut the sound hole in a really cool design
@@DIYGene yep!👍😎🎸🎶
Something like the sound holes on an Ovation.

That is a great idea. I am going to do some experimenting with a lot of materials. it etched the slate great.
