If you are thinking of moving, Melbourne, Viera, or neighboring Suntree THIS is the best kept secret in Florida. Disney is just 45 minutes away. We’ve been here 3 years. Can’t be beat.

Very nice presentation. I just saw a presentation that I assume the guy was in a hurry. His camera was just moving so fast it gave e a headache. I am planning to move down after the Covid pandemic resides and things get back to normal next year. I will look at this video again to follow up. I want to rent a house, not going down to buy. All I heard was the schools ratings, beach, and median home price. But, what about nightlife for people under 50 (aka Elderly) WITHOUT kids? Is downtown Melbourne the ONLY place that has "decent" bars?
Hi Oscar, “Nightlife in Melbourne” is on my to do list. There are great bars all over Melbourne but downtown has the most bars in a single spot. “Downtown” Eau Gallie has a bunch of great bars. In particular the Cottage Irish pub is nice but there are plenty more. So I would say that’s the second spot next to Downtown Melbourne. But again, making an entire video about the nightlife is on my todo list for the next few videos.

Before COVID that would’ve been possible. But to be completely honest, right now it’s going to be nearly impossible to get a single family home in a gated community under $240k. Right now you can get a house in Melbourne in that price range but not in a gated community.

Yes, prices went crazy during Covid all over the country. Maybe look into Palm Bay. It’s right next to Melbourne and while there aren’t as many amenities right within Palm Bay as in Melbourne (even though they’re working on adding things in the future), it’s still super close to everything Melbourne has to offer. Golf carts suck. People that drive Golf carts should stay off the sidewalk which is for pedestrians only.. people with pets and kids can get run over by Golf Carts. Stay on the road with the other motorized vehicles please.
