in the 90s I worked at the Rainbow Chinese Restaurant in Mpls., MN. I love that your channel has produced, filmed and shared these very similar recipes to what we'd eat for lunch in the kitchen durning afternoon break. I am so influenced by these meals (similar meals) and so excited each time you share another one. I always love that you are honest, factual and truthful and not putting on a show. This is all legitimate. Make some of these at home and always have some rice with it.
Your timing is perfect! I was wondering what to do with my boneless thighs tonight. I don’t like the same taste over and over so I mix it up with a different flavor every time. Thank you, love this channel
I love your videos. Simple enough for me to see and understand how you make it. No fancy ingredients just good food, reasonable price so we can afford to eat good homemade healthy foods. Thank you, and thanks to dude for doing the taste tests.❤
Greetings!!! This yet another genius recipe that is a starting point to SOOOOOO many more dishes. Lemongrass, Bourbon, and Hoisin sauce can take you on many adventures.
I normally don't leave comments but I am this time, I have made 6 different recipes of yours and they are all amazing, they have become my go to when I don't know what to cook. I made this chicken recipe today it is so good . Thank you 😊
I have all the ingredients except for the Ty basil. I have the seeds but haven't gotten to grow it. So for the first time I will use the green onions to make it this week. ❤
That's a nice, easy recipe. Here in north Texas, leg quarters are .57 cents/pd. Don't know the quality or how much broth they are shot up with. A family size package of thighs costs is $1.77/pound and family size legs package is $1.27/pd. Big difference in prices for legs and thighs.
OMG!! That is SO cheap! I paid $2/lb for the leg quarters on sale (and they hardly ever go down that much) They are usually about $5/lb. Then boneless skinless is at least $8/lb. Why is everything so much more in 🇨🇦? 😩💸
Watch yesterday, bought my chicken today and prepared for my family. Forgot the basil but had cilantro. Simply delicious! Will be added to cooking rotation. Looking forward to next video!!!! BTW... do you still go camping? Would love to see what you make outdoors.😂
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately (maybe fortunately 🤔) we haven’t been camping in a few years now because it has been a complete gong show trying to book camping sites (since Covid). It’s just insane!
Hey Flo and Dude, it must be a real labor of love to debone all the chicken!! Your dish looks delicious and my family is going to love it. I’m not sure where I’m going to get Thai basil but I’ll look for it. Thanks for the recipe and God bless…❤
I'm watching this and thinking....hmmmm......color.....some gochugaru would be great in that....... o.O and I just happen to have chicken in the freezer....mwuaahahahahhahaha
Nice recipe. When I don't have Thai basil, I usually sub Italian basil and the flavor difference isn't that noticeable. Also, when I make 3 cup chicken I use rice wine not rice vinegar. Does the vinegar make the dish more sour?
Garlic is pretty easy to grow but it takes SO long. I try to buy some good garlic to plant in the fall. Or if I’ve been successful, I’ll plant ones I’ve grown the year before.
Simple three cup chicken doesn’t get much easier. Happy weekend! 💕
Happy weekend to you, too! Hey y’all, it’s peach season! 🍑🍑🍑

Thai Basil is the best. I love the purple flowers in my eggs and the leaves!!!
Proof right there. Less is more. I could see myself eating this often. Great recipe. thank you

No excuses for a recipe this simple! Will try! Sounds delish!

This looks so delicious. I’m going to make it but instead of the basil, I’m going to add spinach. Thanks for sharing. 🙏 🫂 🕊️ 😊

Nice recipe. Easy too!
I just made this and it was so good.
I am not as fast as you so it was a two beer cooking time.
Absolutely delicious.
A keeper recipe for sure.😀

Asian markets are the first place to look. Otherwise I find I have a better chance growing Thai basil from seed vs sweet basil. And yay to 🍑 season!

Thanks, Flo! Happy weekend to all…
That's a serving for one .. me! 😊
Everything you make looks delicious! Do your children have any interest in learning how to cook like you?
They both can cook but I don’t think they enjoy it.
say it how it is Flo/Dude go with the price, there's no shame in saving money ! thighs taste good as well
I wish it had veggies in it.
I'm watching this and thinking....hmmmm......color.....some gochugaru would be great in that....... o.O and I just happen to have chicken in the freezer....mwuaahahahahhahaha

Just a slight tang.
Are we supposed to double or triple this? I am not sure how this portion size feeds a family. That’s 1 or 2 servings for my family.
You can absolutely double or triple it. I’m serving this along with rice and a side of veggies for my family of 4.
Any substitute for rice vinegar? I can find it in my area and have to order it.
Apple cider vinegar is a good substitute.
Question how do you make the dish Hapy Family at home thank you❤
I’m sorry, I don’t know what that is.
I've made this using chicken wings. It's a taiwan dish
🎉❤❤❤
Can i sub in for the dude😮
doable at my skill level.....supermarket garlic is so bad I want to grow my own. You can ruin an otherwise good dish with store bought

@@FloLum ...I like the red varieties...juicy and nice aftertaste
