I have just over 150 miles in mine. Did two 20 mile training runs in them and they have been great. I do feel they are wearing out faster than I originally expected. I would definitely buy again.
Fordy Can you make a comparison with the SC Trainer v2 against the Asics Glideride 3 for a long run shoe. I have the Glideride 3 and I wonder if the SC Trainer is worth purchasing. Thanks
I love the supercomp elite v3 and I'm not sure why you'd buy the trainer instead as the prices are very similar. But I do like the design of the sc trainer v2. Much better looking than v1 so I guess you could wear it casual as well.
I use the my sc trainer 2 as my daily commuter shoe. I've used it on a treadmill 2 times. I liked the shoe I've skipped out on the first version due to being too tall, and no color way that attracted me.
I wouldn't pay £210 for any shoe I'd wait for the sales next year when they have their next new version out and that goes down in price , I bought the new Brooks trainers this year and at £140 it wore down quicker than expected and I managed to get 2half marathons and 3x 10 km our of them and the outer sole fell to bits , so never again would I pay over £90 might go up to £110 next year. For this year's trainers depending on the reviews !!!
@@barbaramarkie8981yup. Not going to pay full Price for shows. Ever. Going to follow the Asics Superblasts and these. For now just keeping to my Triumph 20 and More V4s. And come race season I’ll see if the prices have come Down a bit
Initially I found this shoe to be a very decent, bouncy and energetic cushioned trainer which I used for long training runs. But it quickly lost its initial zest and soon felt dull and lacking any real sense of comfort. It's very expensive for a shoe that doesn't compete well with others. So from an initial impressed feel it soon went downhill for me (oh and it definitely comes up small so size up if you go for it)
V1 is a much better trainer than V2 for me..I have been stocking up on V1 while they are still available..V2 is too hard..it lost that nice squishy ride of V1..

Would you go for the sc trainer v2 or the 1080v13? seems like both are light and soft and the price is the same in my country

I will be wearing that in NYC

Hi Fordy! I found the NB RC Elite 2 to be too soft for me. It was like trudging through mud. How does the SC Trainer 2 compare?
Is SC Trainer v2 a huge step-up from Propel v4?

Always wait
I got it on sale already. I do feel it became a bit mushy after about 100 k. Also my advice is to go down half a size.
Good work on the sale price
@@FordyRuns Thanks. Got them for €170. Including courier service 👍🏻
This shoe or HOKA rocket x 2?
Is that one better than the Asics GT-2000 v12 and the Saucony Shift 3?
Different shoes really
Looking at this for my Half in june 2024 and maybe my full in 2025
Hopefully they will go down in price when you buy them 😊
I ran a pb in Copenhagen Half in these👍 Great shoe

Interesting thanks for sharing
I agree with the analysis but I use EU sizing. Got my usual 43 but it's a bit big..

Fair enough
Is this paid review? Coz all other runners are saying it's not a great shoe. 😢
I like it but maybe I’m different… that a bad thing?
