It's interesting that Silvie hates being alone, even though they are murdering everyone around them, including their own creations.
As if, deep down, a tiny part of her hates being a monster that her own son ran away from.

Many people hate to be alone with their thoughts. They feel like they're monsters hiding in human skin. They need other people to either control, so it validates a power they feel they lack in their life, or to actually validate them. In either case, they need someone else to make them feel like good people. When the support people finally leave such a toxic environment as seen here, the monstrous person lashes out at the people who are trying to leave. It's a vicious cycle of feeling like a monster, lashing out, people treating them like a monster, and on and on. Silvie also fits the profile of a vulnerable narcissist, so that may also be worth mentioning.
I knew this game touched on something psychological- moment the name ‘Silvie’ came up- I questioned if it equates to MPD or DID with the side touches of psychopathy
@@bonniebluebellaextrasit doesn't seem so. More like a mask. She doesn't seem to refer to her other self as another being or mind. She knows who she is. I thought it could have been an extreme case of separation anxiety. Fearing being alone and then killing them when they don't listen. Like the other replier, I think she would be on the terms of a vulnerable narcissist and maybe social anxiety. But then again I'm no psychologist

I believe C could be referring to Claudio. For those who don't know, Caludio is Skye's brother who was taken by some sort of darkness, and she tries to search for him. This was shown to us in early development trailers, and the first official trailer for the game. But that's just my theory
C could also be referring to the cursor itself? Perhaps this isn't the first time they've been to the garden? I doubt that would be the case, but it is a cool thought
I think its Cursor, meaning the protag has been here before, and has amnesia or something.
Claudio, a rabbit, wouldn't be amazed to see something out of the ordinary as other rabbits gardening.

Well, in one of the notes, C seems surprised to see bunnies gardening. So I don't think that's the case.
This is indie horror done right.
Not that other horror games are doing it wrong, it’s just that most horror game are always trying to scare you, while typically the best ones are mostly horror, but still have comedy, tragedy, and other elements of a good story.

Well, atleast the game is 2D, does not drop the quality to -10 for spooks and actually keeps it stylish, and is not heavily laying on the 1990's style (and just a little hint, since the player is in a 1990 or smth computer, but it seems abandoned so prob the time of game is modern)

Something of note that wasn't mentioned in this video was that just after the chase (or maybe right before) with the monstrous version of 10, the player has to trap them in a bear trap, and while trapped, 10 does a series of gestures to give them the code to a nearby lock, which is required to progress. It suggests that the monstrous hands may not be in control of their actions, instead driven to violence by instinct but still holding onto a shred of their consciousness somehow... that's my thoughts, anyways.
Based on the trailers, "-C" is skye's (the eyepatch one at end) brother, Claudio, if i remember right.
In the trailer he is taken from his bedroom by a shadowy hand, so he probably was brought into the "bunny garden".
Maybe. But Claudio, a rabbit, wouldn't be shocked to stumble into a world where rabbits are farming and planting flowers.

@@neonoah3353 does this imply that more species like Silvie existed before? It wouldn't make sense for Silvie to have a son when it seems like no other person could 'procreate' with her.
This could explain why she hates being alone, as she witnessed her species get wiped out. I hope we'll get answers for this in the future.
0:41 I just noticed something. The heart monitors seem to be for the two Skyes we encounter. Both versions match back to the two Skyes we see via their eye injuries. One shot in the eye, the other having a heart eye patch. This makes think there are two different games.

Based on a diagram behind skye while she’s playing piano. It’s seems that all the handy pals were once cursors but were turned into handy pals by her and her black goo. And she numbers them herself and has some kind of control over them, hence why she can just destroy all them with a snap. But it also seems that the black goo corrupts them and that they all eventually turned into the hand spiders.

I think the human consciousness transference theory is what happened to our handy. I think the player who was using the cursor was forcefully dragged into the cursor as a part of a game to someone within the world. It could be Silvie, but it might be something or someone worse than her.

I do like to Think Silvie was one of the large rabbit creatures in the Graden. Like different Rabbits had different jobs. By the word of the comments there was a rabbit named Claudio who is Skye’s brother, who was taken by a shadow creature.
WARNING: This is me reaching for explanations now:
I do think the “developers” used Handy Pals as their in game avatars. They would observe the rabbits and creatures in this world and noted things they liked and didn’t like. Maybe they only wanted two rabbits and decided to go with the more prevalent ones, Skye and Claudio. Thing scared Silvie who had gained or always had some level of self-awareness. Kinda like how a developer will give characters random lines of wall-breaking but this time it actually lead to Silvie being aware she is in a game and her and her child are in danger. So she steals Claudio away and takes Skye’s form renaming the programs based off of the Cursor/C’s notes. She makes a who bunch of Handy Pals to possibly throw them off since there is no mention of Handy Pals in C’s notes. The developers are starting to take notice. It’s all too late tho, Silvie has completely taken over. Boxer goes into hiding after no longer being able to act like Claudio (His name sake is the only reason I believe the boxing mechanic was already implemented but that could also be a stretch), Nelson and Ben also decide to keep their distance, aware that Skye is acting strange.
This is why, when we show up, a cursor, it’s a surprise. No cursor has showed up in the game for who knows how long and obviously, Silvie has been trying to make her own, possibly even mutating the regular Handy Pals to do so.
When we end up at Skye’s house I believe not only is that another Skye but that’s the game we’re SUPPOSED to be playing, the game they started after Silvie took over, the world she’s scared of because it would have replaced her own. That rift in the beginning was not supposed to happen, we weren’t supposed to end up in the garden.
By the looks of it the developers haven’t worked on this world for a long time either, leaving Skye to do whatever she pleases. Whether this is another Skye or the same Skye, I don’t know but I have a feeling she knows exactly who Silvie is.
Honestly, I like this idea a lot.

Here's what I know about Bunny Graveyard:
1. Bunny Graveyard is an alternate dimension which collects human souls and turn them into hands ✋️
2. This world 🌎 was made by scientist C
3. Skye is aware of the dimension so she kills anyone who breaks the rules
4. All monsters hate Skye
5. Skye hates being alone 😢
6. Skye can regenerate her wounds
7. Skye knows who Handy is
8. All hands have numbers in this land
9. Handy Pals have ability to somehow transform into monster versions
10. In Ben's prison, we see Handy Pals but they don't have single number! They look like our protagonist
11. Skye's real name is Silvie and she is the mother of Boxers
12. Labirynth is an exit of Silvie's Garden and Silvie protects it because there is a large portal to another world 🌎
13. At the end of the game, we see a heroic version of Skye
14. Skye that was in the ending could be from the other world or maybe she was the victim of Silvie
15. Silvie captured Ben, so she can't be caught by Handy Pals
16. C was first to discover the world of Bunny Graveyard 🐰
17. There are statues in the cave that leads to the portal and maybe they could tie into Chapter 2
theory: the younger Skye might be a alternate version of Skye if Silvi (idk if i spelled her name right i'm so sorry-) never took her body for herself. What i mean is that it's basically like a 'good ending' version of Skye where she never got (allegedly) killed by Silvi and never lost her skin to the cruel evil mother. I think this means there's a version of Silvi and Boxers where whatever happened between them to lead to the relationship we see between them throughout the game never happened leading to the young rabbit nd his mother being happy and Skye surviving to live a few more years.

At 2:44 the hand gestures we see on the paper look suspiciously close to ASL. I know A through Z in ASL so my best gess is that it spells out ILBOX, or ILB0X. I know the second hand is L, and the third one is B. The 4th one is O. The last one is very similar to hand position for X, same for the foist one, it looks very similar to I. What do u all think.
Edit: I didn't watch the full thing before writing this, I realized that ILBOX is sort for I LOVE BOXS. Smart, I love when games do this type of stuff! ❤

I like to point out that the vital screen at 0:41show both Skye and Silvie (we can reoganize by eyepatch in the first one and by eye wound caused by ben in the second one).
I absolutely love this game. Ever since you played the demo I was so excited for the full release. It's completely unlike most horror games these days and the pixel art element is a big plus for me personally. And the characters? Just perfect. Definitely one of my latest favourites. Thank you for the story explained video
It's also interesting to note in the credits under voices that the name for the mother rabbit is S1L-V13/Silvie whilst all the others are listed as normal/ as seen in game. Makes you wonder what implications this may denote in relation to the character and her knowledge and actions through the game.

There's actually a lot of missing contexts part of this video. There's more characters to be found and a bit more story exploration comming from the gamemaker's youtube channel as well as an hidden post-credit scene SuperHorrorBro don't know about yet. I haven't played the game yet so Idk how to get this post-credit scene but I think it's a 100% completion thing.

Love this cover of the story of the BG ch.1! I can’t wait for your theory video on what could possibly happen in ch.2 and what the current information we have means. Oh! One thing, I discovered while watching another person’s play through of ch.1, that when in Nelson’s house, you can look at two photos. One is of him, Ben, and Skye with Nelson talking about how she found them one day and how it’s strange she lives far away. The other is of Nelson’s family members(I believe he said sisters and brothers) who hasn’t shown up in a awhile(he notes he hope they come around again as Ben misses them). You can also see a black bunny figure in the background of it.
Who do you think represents the two statuses in the starting screen? There are two, so I'm trying to figure out who they are - though it maybe requires waiting for Chapter 2.

and just to add on, my standing theory is that skye and boxer are siblings, with silvie being the mother. Though i dont know what implications that brings to the reveal of silvie through skyes body..
Actually, the trailers and shorts on the game maker's youtube channel answer this question. The two are Sky and a rabbit a forgot the name of who is her brother. I think both went missing but only Skye woke up, according to a secret true ending with a post-credit scene that SuperHorrorBro forgot to mention.

My theory: So far it seems like Silvie is an overprotective mother trying to not let her kids leave her. I say "kids" because I think Silvie has two children, Boxers and Claudio. Claudio is the one with the eye-patch at the end of Chapter 1. My guess is that Silvie probably harmed Claudio (whether on purpose or by accident), which caused him to run away. Now that Claudio is gone, Silvie doesn't want to lose Boxers as well, so she becomes very strict and overprotective, practically abusive to the point where Boxers starts rebelling against her (hence why he went into hiding and the walls of his hideout says "NO MORE RULES", "NO BUNNIES ALLOWED", etc.) And this is confirmed more when Boxers says to Silvie "You treated *us* like puppets!" And to "us", I think he's referring to him and Claudio. In summary, Skye was just Silvie's façade to hide her true abusive nature, and it's that nature that pushed her own kids away from her. And due to that loneliness, she made gloves from her own essence to help her tend the garden. But if they try to leave, she would rather kill her own gloves than to let them leave her, not again like her own kids. Truly tragic when you think about it.
EDIT: Okay, so the devs updated their site with character bios, and it confirms that the bunny we see at the end is the REAL Skye, and she’s trying to find her twin brother Claudio. So there goes the majority of my theory lol. But now my new theory is, Boxers might be Claudio and Silvie is both Skye & Claudio’s (Boxers) mom. Why else would Silvie pretend to be Skye? And Boxers knew that Silvie was wearing a disguise based from the demo (unless it got retconned). Maybe she did that to make mentally abuse Boxers, hence why Boxers doesn’t like his own mom and rebels from her. We can see that Silvie DOES care about Boxers and knew who Skye is to pretend to be her, so Silvie has to be connected with the other realm somehow
The rabbit with eyepatch is Skye, not Claudio. Claudio is her twin brother. But still, your theory is cool.

As much as fatigue as Chapter Based games have now, this one is actually pretty good. It has enough content in 1 part than most games do in several parts, gotta give props to the devs, they clearly put a lot of passion into this and I haven’t been more excited for a new chapter since Bendy and the Ink Machine
I'm pretty sure that reason silvie is so murderous is because skye escaped. Then she must of used her strange abilties to recreate skye's skin
I love the S.A.O route you came up with! That would definitely make the game a banger for real. What if Sylvie had a daughter though, and that's why they look like skye, is younger, and has an eyepatch? Like Boxers she's concealing the true self within her!

He really didn't put as much effort into figuring out the story as he could of, I mean if you go to the Steam page it gives you the info to figure out things like who "C" is, what their relationship to the real Skye is, who the bunny girl with the eye patch is, and also just the basic actual world setting of the game. Wouldn't even take a half hour to look at all that in total either yet put a lot of things into a perspective of what it means and what the bigger story is.

Skye is like a version of mommy long legs from poppy playtime just like skye both of them so called “hate cheating” but the two silent protagonists did not cheat with the player surviving PJ Pugapillar and the other a dangerous fishing game.

Honestly, I like this game and it's story. I wonder how this'll play out in future chapters of the game. Though Silvie's name drop at the end there is pretty interesting. It shows how much Boxers hates his own mother, by calling her by her name instead of "Mom".

Another thing that hints towards Skye/Silvie knowing they’re in a game(?) is when they’re done speaking to number 8 and she looks surprised while seemingly looking at the player as if she just noticed the camera changed to her.
Also, could C be for Cursor? Though would that make sense in this context? I’m not sure.

Something that i love about The Bunny Garden is that the characters don't just feel like a horror game, they also feel like someone's OCs which is pretty cool

5:56 Say if you look closely, you notice that one of the gloves is missing a metal ring. A piece of evidence to support that Number 8 was the Iron Punch that went missing.
I always like the explained videos because I have so little time to play video games but I like the stories a lot. Explained videos allow me to have the story without being forced to play the game stretched out to the point I may forget something…

A little something to note, if you are wondering what happened to the other two boxers then it is unfortunate due to the fact that you can find their bodies in a labyrinth which have gotten torn apart. Wish we can see more of them but at least Handy and Boxer got out of there

Fun fact: if you repeatedly say no to Skye's request to help out with the garden, you get a flash jumpscare that reveals the twist much earlier, before everything goes back to if you had agreed.

I can't wait for the next chapter of bunny graveyard hopefully we get more lore and i see that we might have to look for boxers in this one as we aren't taken with boxers at the same time it might be that boxers fell into another part of that world hopefully my theory is correct as i find it pretty entertaining if that's the case but nothing less I love the concept of the game and can't wait for the next update on the game now thank horror bro for taking his time on this video -vio-
I just noticed when you look at one of Iron Punch’s glove, it’s missing a ring on a finger. And we can see that when we saw 08, they were wearing the ring.
And when we were in the forest, we saw a ring. This would’ve been the location of 08’s death leading to Iron Punch absent because of this cause.
So yes I agree with you.
But also another thing I saw is before we got sucked into the bunny game, When we checked the status. it showed 2 bunny icons once with a heart eye and another one with a blank circle eye.
The heart eye bunny icon could’ve been Skye (before she got corrupted or something.)
And the one with a blank circle eye could’ve been Sylvie as in a cutscene we saw when Ben shot her, She had one eye.

If you look at the symbols on the vitals or whatever you can see a bunny sign with a heart on one of its eyes. It is at bottom left corner.

First 8, then one of the cursors, and now nelson. This game is brutal.
if you looked at silvie's house you will notice there are diagrams in the back of the piano room on a black board showing the progression of the lighter colored gloves into the darker handy gloves, implying that shes been turning the cursors into the handy gloves using whatever the black liquid is but they eventually turn tnto the monsterous hands.

I love your story explained vids more than the game plays why because it's much more interesting and also because of the lores.
The heart rate monitor at the beginning of the game with the eye patch bunny on it matches the face of the bunny at the end of the game.
