Hi, I’m not sure if this will be seen but I was wondering if you would mind doing a small experiment of a thought I had. Would you be willing to make a very small amount of concert and a small amount of cement and placing them into your vacuum camber and after smashing them open to see if it removed all the tiny air bubbles from it? Possibly to make the material seem more like naturally formed stone and rocks.
I think that this product is great for a vast majority of dnd players (and other table top rpgs potentially) and even though some people might want more detailed maps these are great for players who might need to reuse things either for convenience or simplicity.
Convenience trumps complexity for me with DnD. I'm not a player/DM who likes to have the battlefield set up ages in advance and force the story to fit. I like to go with the flow, and these help me be more able to do so
I have never appreciated your smooth and fairly quiet narration more than right now when I have to be a bit careful not to listen to anything too loud. I did mute the crash bit though but I’m sure it was satisfying. Lovely work as usual!
I was gonna say, sorry about the loud crash then! I need to just release some bedtime story readings of books for a nice quiet way to put people to sleep then haha. Hope you are feeling better soon my friend
I think this is so amazing from a utilitarian perspective. You can make pretty much anything you can imagine from them. Also, you can mix them with existing miniatures that you have. It's a really great product.
Thanks! My nephews have been waiting a long time to put together battle maps while I set stuff up on my end. I haven't told them yet that it's not too long to wait. Can't decide if I'll just surprise them with it or not. 🤔
@@xavierp7658 I love them. Maybe I bought a bit too much for my needs, but they're exactly what I wanted. Now when a battle is coming up we take 10 minutes. I make sure I have all my stats ready, and my players build the battle map(with small direction from me).
@@HooliganGenie how many sets/tiles did you get and what color mix did you choose? I’m liking these and dwarven forge and I’m not sure which to invest in
Reminds me a lot of Heroscape tiles before the game went out of production. I kind of like that it seems like a more modern take on that, but Im probably going to stick with the Heroscape tiles I still have. Although they take a bit more time to set up, I kind of like the verticality and more detail I can get out of them.
These things look really convenient and useful for building a quick thing, but I've never been a fan of the solid color style of things. I just don't find it appealing. Still, the utility of these is extremely useful and they store significantly better than a lot of other things would, too, which is a huge bonus.
I'm sort of torn, I like the idea but I feel like the tiles are a lil too bland individually for my tastes. Woulda liked more interesting patterns or paintjobs or something on em personally
Here's some ideas.... Dual faced tiles here's another idea tall pieces 3 tall or 4? Another one cause why not. Special edition ones (clear blue, rick and Morty portal green and goo purple) limited runs or made to order ones.
I'd consider buying this is they had what they gave you for sale, even at 600 bucks. They show what you got on the picture to the website but in reality it's just 4 colors
From a scale perspective we usually play on a grid with each square being 5'. What would you say the scale of an individual hexagon is? From the video I'd guess 10'? How do you do it?
Has anyone tried to paint them to give them a more realistic terrain look? I know Heroscape had a whole portion of the community that painted those tiles.
I KNOW y'all are missing Terragon Tony- But he was having some moustache and tape problems... So you'll just have to deal with MY review instead :P
Maybe Terragon Tony could be busy teaming up with Rybo Ross against the Unshareable Non-Skills... Or something like that.
@@stephenthomas8312 ^ The Rybonator Cinematic Universe is truly starting to take shape...
How dare you😆. Also love seen the end product
Why is your finger purple?

I enjoyed seeing the little heart on your index peeking out when you cut to close-ups
Ordered like $400 dollars worth of these during the kickstarter and I am beyond jazzed to get to finally play with them soon!
Oh awesome, hope you have fun!

Yoooooo, these are awesome. I next to never use boards for D&D, but my brain is loving the idea of using these for many of my stop motion ideas!
You are the reason I found out about and backed these in the first place, I am super excited to finally get mine when they ship!
Any review is a good review from you Rybonator! And we're off today so we get to watch right now!
Hope y'all are having a great day off! Relax and unwind with some UA-cam :)
Awesome! I love the transparent/ice tiles
I’m part of the original KS and can’t wait, I’m waiting on 250 tiles mostly arctic in color range.
OK that gold prototype is definitely a flex!
I love these over detailed terrain, it puts the imagination at the forefront, where is should be with DnD
Something tells me that they are also just fun to mess about with as well outside of game nights.
These look so cool I've never made an actual map for people to playboy and now idk what I'm going to make it with
I came to listen to you gush and wasn't disappointed. 😅
Yay a video to watch! I know I’m not first today but love the reviews
He beat you this time :) But glad to have you both here as always!

Have you heard of the new Heroscape starter set that's coming out? It was announced a couple months ago, I believe.

You should show us how to make loaded/weighted dice.
Love these tiles 😁
Big fan myself, if that wasn't obvious haha

Great Review!
Hey thanks friend! :)

i know its been a while but are these compatible with heroscape tiles????
Here's some ideas.... Dual faced tiles here's another idea tall pieces 3 tall or 4? Another one cause why not. Special edition ones (clear blue, rick and Morty portal green and goo purple) limited runs or made to order ones.

They are available that way now! It was a popular demand so there are 250 packs with every color in them.
From a scale perspective we usually play on a grid with each square being 5'. What would you say the scale of an individual hexagon is? From the video I'd guess 10'? How do you do it?
We still use them as a 5' grid. Works well especially for minis with slightly oversized bases like Heroforge.
I am boosting engagement!
Yay!
I'm not sure how you're supposed to use larger miniatures on these. Like in dnd combat
These would be great for Battletech
I like them for Warhammer too-- makes for easy custom battlefields - but you need a LOT of tiles
Has anyone tried to paint them to give them a more realistic terrain look? I know Heroscape had a whole portion of the community that painted those tiles.
They can be painted as thry are ABS
I love the idea of these so much! The price is a littttttle high and I can't order what I want (some of everything) so I'm bummed.
