For Civic 1lakh kilometers is just like a healthy athlete human being walking for 2-3kilometer. Ur civic has just started getting young. a long time is there before its get old. (Now these indian rto system may declare it as old but civic never gets old, nd keeps on lasting forever with very less maintenance) I will sugest u not to spend wisely earned money on these days new cars. Cos u have a majesty in your garage and there is no requirement of upgradation if its maintained well. I m owner of old gen baleno2001. Its yet doing great on the road .with proper paper work Just paying green tax and riding these majestic cars forever is what i want and even sugest others..nothng can gives the same feel as these cars

I Owned 2008 civic mettalic Grey colour and it is superb ,Civic never gets Old and no car can compete it.its a jet smooth drive ,it's design is unique and amazing,it's my dream car..

Ek baar aap ko gadi samajh aa jaye to phir itana jyada issue nahi hota. Just approch bumps slower. And know the overhang and wheel position nahi hoti itani touch
I own a 2008 civic, i was in 5th grade when we got it and it was literally a dream come true, dad used to drive it daily until then, once i was 18 it came to my hands, 14 years down the lane there has been only one major service that cost us 95k and had the power steering fluid leak and engine mount issues. The car still beings a smile every time you drive it enthusiastically. Free revving till 7k rpm, second gear redline at 120, so easy to cruise at high speeds since gearing is very long. I would never sell this for anything in the world, we also own a polo gt tdi and although that car is beautiful in its own ways, nothing replaces the comfort of the civic in the front and the back, engine even though it has run a lot of kilometres in 14 years, it feels as good as new and can go on for a lot more years with ease. Stock civics are underrated, keeping it as clean as it was when it first came out of the showroom is something that will one day make sense and will appreciate in value at one point. The design is timeless, exteriors, interiors and the 1.8L I-VTEC can never be replaced
@@hiazhar2008 mileage you should definitely consider, mine being the automatic with paddle shift i get very less, i think manual civics push around 8-12 but not too sure on this Maintenance wise please make sure you're getting a car which does not have steering fluid leaks or engine mount issues or suspension issues, those are the expensive repairs, but i can still guarantee you that this would anyday be a smaller hole in your pocket than maintaining a Laura or a Jetta, nothing else really compares to the civic. Service history is something you should check while buying one, ground clearance and the roads in your city should also be a concern, engine and kilometres wise also i doubt you'd face issues even if the car is already past 1L km , these Japanese engines can take a lot more. Having personal experience maintaining both a polo gt tdi which is supposedly more suitable for Indian roads and the civic together, the civic is way easier to maintain and way less expensive. Polo maintenance is not really comparable with the civic, i hope you find a well maintained single owner car, cus in the second hand market, previous owner usage is what matters the most.

Just 71,000 km in 10+ years??? I got a wagon R in 1.5 year crossed 56,000 kms, did my 1st service in day 3, crossed 1100km by day 3. My Innova is 2012 model crossed 1,90,000 kms....... Still going strong.....
@@hiazhar2008 haven’t taken it out on the highway in years but city mileage is very poor bro. It doesn’t have a mileage meter as well but I’m pretty sure it isn’t more than 7kmpl in the city. I’m sure if you’re light footed on the highway you can stretch it to a little over 10kmpl but it’s certainly far from efficient.
@@hiazhar2008 Mileage is an issue of course. You will be spending a lot on petrol and will hesitate to aimlessly joy ride in it but parts availability isn't an issue at all. If you place an order for a part at Honda, they will have it for you within 2 weeks max. Keep in mind, that's only if you're replacing the entire part. They will not repair any part on the car that isn't working normally like some independent mechanics would do. Lately, a lot of reputed independent mechanics are turning down civics too due to its age and time spent on labour vs the money that could earn fixing a more expensive car.
And here my dream dies cause as he said only buy if you can pay maintenance, I guess 10kml I can handle but maintainace I cannot 😢 gonna have to settle with Verna 2012 instead of 2011 civic… goodbye dream car
