We have a 2009 petrol manza still with us and its running absolutely fantastic. The space it offers in the backseat isn't offered by any other car even today. Engine is also smooth and it never gave us any trouble Would highly recommend that

a used laura can also be a nightmare in terms of spare parts availability and cost of maintainance. Civic is better for enthusiasts. I once purchased a used skoda fabia and had to sell it for 1/3rd of the money
Damn, we had a Ritz 1.2 back in those days.. Everyone bullied us for such an ugly car, and even the mileage was low for a hatch during those times.. Everyone were obsessed with mileage during those days.. But this one little hatch can promise you great driving experience and performance on a budget.. The handling was really good, the engine was smooth, reliable and very punchy.. It never gave us any trouble until we have used it upto 2021.. 1.2 lakh on odo, and it still performed with the same enthusiasm when we brought it.. thereafter we had to sell 😢 PS: My uncle also brought Ritz diesel, as he liked our car for it's space, and that diesel engine is another story completely, but he also had to sell it due to the diesel restrictions and maintenance 😭
it's beautiful from the front. Only the back was weird. My friend had the diesel ritz, i loved the torque, then i rented one from zoom car, drove it so fast that i had to pay a fine for overspeeding.😂
Usually it's better to go for less maintenance cars in used market than premium cars. You don't know what repairs you need to do how much you have to spend

Man how the hell did you forget Toyota corolla from mid 2000s 😅? And how can you recommend Tata Indigo Manza over Etios sedan ? 🤯😳. No1 in their right mind would buy a Manza when Etios and Corolla are there to kick ass and take all the abuse which indian roads can offer . You want a low maintainence sedan , you can get Etios as the parts for corolla can be expensive as it was a D segment sedan. Heck you can get a Honda Brio in place of Nissan Micra 😅, parts are easily available as it was much more popular car than Micra . And you can get the Etios sedan or Amaze over Indigo manza and Nissan Sunny . Parts are easily available for these cars and they can be serviced anywhere in India. Especially the Etios because its safe ,peppy,fuel efficient and comfortable like a C segment sedan with a strong AC 💪which even Amaze didn't have even after having the same AC as Honda city. Even if we kept the AC at level 2 then also it would be freezing inside the car , this despite the etios not having rear ac vents 😅❤. Now i know some people have ego , they dont want to be seen inside a Taxi. Well Taxi drivers are smart , they knew this was the most reliable practical car with low maintenance costs and it was safe also with 4 🌟 safety rating at Latin NCAP back in 2013 or 14 i guess. So yeah this was a great underrated neglected car and you can get a 2010-11 model in used car market for 2 lakhs. You can even get a 2013-14 Amaze for 2 lakhs ; Base or mid variant easily for Amaze from that era . I said Amaze because Brio was too barebones in terms of features and space compared to Amaze but hatchback and sedan is a individual preference which differs from person to person. Anyway pro tip if you are buying Etios sedan : Check first of it was a Taxi or not , if it was then avoid like COVID19 😂 because it has been abused horribly . Mostly diesel Etios are in this category 😅. The petrol ones are great 👍, whichever Etios you buy make sure it's not been used as a Taxi before . Does not matter if its CNG- petrol or diesel . Check for all these things.

Plus it was built like a Tank for a Maruti suzuki car so you can't argue it has shit built quality. Plus it had no electrical or mechanical issues like Manza of that era . See Tata cars of that era may have had the same fiat multijet diesel engine but they always messed up when it comes to the internals of the engine or wiring or fit finish etc. Even Safari harrier which use the 2.0ltr Turbocharged diesel engine from fiat today have these problems. The Toyota Etios was lightweight so it never felt underpowered, kind off like Ford fiesta 1.4TDCI and you can always do mods to it to make it as powerful as Corolla altis with same engine with more power. Few people have done that.

Prices depend on condition, kms, number of owners, city, etc but because these cars will be relatively old, you can negotiate hard on the prices since buyers will be very less for a lot of these cars

Prices depend on condition, kms, number of owners, city, etc but because these cars will be relatively old, you can negotiate hard on the prices since buyers will be very less for a lot of these cars
