Devastated to find out that 85% of my cinematic footage on file had corrupted during the filming process... Regardless, I hope you enjoy the video. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas this holiday season!🎄🔥
Top 3 things i like about this 1984 R-X7 1. The sound of that 13B bridgeport when the boost cuts in. 2. The Red Paint. 3. See the joy & excitement you get out of driving this retro 80's RX-7 Clay
Great video, super high resolution! Car is amazing too, looks like it could use a rack an pinion conversion as it looks like there’s a heap of play in the steering.
Bro this is lit, I have a 323 with a cosmo 13b and a GTX 45 and it runs mid 8 seconds passes fully weight and everything. its an insane car with drag slicks and a parachute
not sure where you heard that an ADM sa22c had an option for a 10a or 12a, i believe this to be incorrect Afaik all ADM sa22c came with a 12a carburetor motor
USDM and JDM models were released with the filler panel between the lights. The Australian cars had headlight washers, and a number plate between the lights as you see here.
series 1 sa22c rx7 have a complete different rear end look all s2/3 australian delivered models have the number plate as per this model USDM are located under the bumper with a black central garnish where ADM number plates are located
It isn't an FB, its an SA22C (FB's is an American vin prefix and unique to US/Canada). They never came out with a 10a in Australia, or anywhere for that matter. You should get the owners to fact check your content for you prior to recording :) Great video otherwise!

They were a quick car when they were released. It was definitely fast for the early 80s.

Clay Wong just killing it out there with these 600hp+ car reviews, awesome stuff keep up the great work.
Absolutely love your cinematics, they get more and more epic every video.

Afaik all ADM sa22c came with a 12a carburetor motor
No SA came with a 10A. They were 12A, 12A turbo or 13B (84-85 only). The America GSL-SE had the 13B
Yep n carby turbo from factory, had one 👍
@@YesNoMaybeIDntKnwDoU we didn't get that one in America or O would definitely have one
Golden 👍👍
🔥🔥🔥
Looks and sounds scary fast. Would have been good to see the engine compartment. Makes my 85 GSL-SE look real slow….
My turbo 2 wrapped se made 415 on pump. That’s scary enough for me. Can’t imagine 730!
Who built it?
What rear spoiler is that?
Most likely custom made
Never heard a rotary sound so 😷 sick
Awesome
what he say? braap braaaaapapapapa
Isnt that rear end 1979? 80-84 had the locense plate on the bumper.
Nevermind. The rest looks 84. Must be us spec the only one that had bumper plates.

Wish you could still get these things for around $3,000
Tullamarine any Keikor, rurundele road.
✌️👍🙏
Classic series 3 steering box 😂 try a series 2, less slop.
Or s4 rack modded to fit, even better
Would’ve like to see the engine setup at least 👍
That hood gap tho
Smart hey
Man I love your vids but, you have to sort that audio out with a chest mic 🎤
I love my 1984 series 3. I will never sell it. 26B??
Engine bay footage?

Freaking awesome 😎 is there anyway you could show the road when you punch it. That would be awesome 😎🐱. Thnx and stay safe😷😷🦖
Ngl I couldn’t hear shit he was saying but love the rotary sounds
Doritos motor
Up the rotors
Bozzo still got a head and a half hahahahah
I like grassroots abit better as they don't talk over the noise and interview the owner.
It shits me when he talks over the car.
Private jet check. Gen 1 rx7 check. ?
8 sec?? What mph
And*
Wow clay your not wong about that
Like it
It's still just a rotary
nice car but sounds crap, in the video anyway.
#braplife
