Not only him tho , australians improved the engine and Puerto Rican’s actually perfect it . That’s why they have multiple all engine 13b’s in the 7,8 and 9 second range . And loquito killer is at 6.06 too , right along loquito killer at 6.16 .. 20b and 13b

I've seen this car in person several times at the Magic City Octane car show. The video does not do it justice when it revs. The first time I saw it drive in, he revs it and I could feel it in my bones! Probably the loudest car I have heard on the road.
Ive seen this car time and time again on IG and a feature on youtube but ive never really seen this in depth and personal. What a sick car and really down to earth guy. Really seein the smiles on his face and seeing his eyes light up as he talked about how long of a process its been you can just tell he is truly grateful for everything he has and has done. You guys are the reason us younger guys coming up have the passion we do in this dying culture. Mazzei's RX7 is my most favorite car to watch on the internet, hands down. It is really a dream, with no expense spared. And it just keeps getting better every time I see it. Mazzei is a genuine, bonifide badass.

Is beyond what David did, both are great, but Rob's is clearly on a whole other level, maybe it's not fair to you, but it's not Rob's fault that David is an introvert and doesn't exploit marketing as well, in the end.... If you look for who is giving more to the rotary world.... That would be Rob, he's even explaining how to build a reliable rotary from scratch and many things to take into account.
No doubt this is an awesome car but I assure you, if you saw it at night while it was hitting the rev limiter or while shifting at high rpm, you'd see plenty of flames. Many fine-tuned engines emit exhaust flames, particularly those with forced induction and even more so, those that are both rotary AND forced induction. If ethanol or methanol is used, the flames are primarily blue in color.
@@dylannix4289 Maybe.. The builder explained he runs his rotary engines fat (fuelwise) which helps to produce some R35 type flames while at high boost on the 2-Step. Check it out during nighttime runs.
I'm not even a rotary guy and I've been a huge fan of Mazzei since SEMA. The raw engineering and mechanics of his RX-7 is something special. Actuators, strain gauges, solenoids, all things that are going by the way side but he is keeping alive.

Been in it, nothing comes close for sound and experience. Absolutely wild car. WHen it is hot the revving makes explosions that are deafening and shake everything around you including you. Same when on boost it does it all the time, but on full boost with methanol it's incredible apparently, I didn't get to experience that though lol. also when turned off hot it often does pops/explosions/fuel oil smoke rings after the engine turns off, absolutely archaic and I love it lol.
As some that wants to own an FD one day the 4 rotor sound actually makes my eyes water with joys, wish I could hear it in person, all love for this build

It doesn't quite use that much. It takes that fuel pump to keep the adequate fuel pressure on injectors without actual drop in pressure. If it used 250 gallon per hour there would literally be no pressure in fuel line because for the line to flow that much gallons it would have to be open and no injectors. But it probably does use a quarter of that amount of gallons per hour.
