You talked about avoiding cross contamination; we’ve had terminix in the past, our last spray being in late June. Has enough time lapsed for us to lay down this product without worry of cross contamination?
Yes! Most pesticides have a 30 day residual but even if it is a 90 day you would still be fine😁
So where do I get a sprayer?? Or can I use any? Sorry if this is a stupid question I just never done anything like this before.
Definitely not a dumb question here you go😀

After a through vacuuming.... Will a Alpine & igr mix eliminate fleas and their eggs?
Yes! It make take a couple of treatments and make sure you continue to vacuum!
I only used half of the full gallon mixture of Alpine and an IGR. Can I store the remaining solution to retreat in 2 weeks as directed to treat for fleas or will the solution need to be discarded?
Hello! Alpine WSG will remain effective once properly mixed for 10-14 days. So to answer your question, you should be ok but don't wait longer than 14 days, although we do recommend only mixing what you plan to use, just to be safe.😁
I believe if u read the directions its 3grams ( bottom line of the measurer in the cap when u buy the bottle) per 4 litres
In canada, u need a license to buy this.
Do you have a all in one, where it can go outside and inside. Where it can do flies, ants, mouses everything
There are several pesticides that are indoor and outdoor and labeled for a broad spectrum of pests, but not one that will cover insects and rodents. Sorry!
@@howtopest4680 wait so the broad spectrum doesn’t kill them because I just bought demand cs
I just used advion roach gel bait . Can i use this as well ??
Yes, you can use Alpine WSG in conjunction with the Advion Cockroach Gel Bait. Since you already placed the bait, you will want to avoid spray treating the areas that you have placed the bait to avoid cross contamination. Next time, when you are ready to apply bait again, spray treat first, then let the Alpine WSG spray dry, then apply your bait.
Nice vid. What would be a good ratio to spray prevention?
Hello! 10 grams per gallon of water = about 1/2 ounce of Alpine WSG per gallon of water. Hope this helps! 😁😁
@@howtopest4680 thanks! Subbed. Quick follow-up re: prevention, i have a buddy flying up and staying w me for a week, i have crossfire and alpine, would it be effective or worth the time to spray around the house? I just know i wont have the time to deal w some sort of problem down the road
@@bldsprt518 What pest are you having issues with?
@@howtopest4680 luckily none, just some leftover childhood trauma with terrible infestations haha
@@bldsprt518 ok great, yes a perimeter spray will be good as well as spraying the mattress seams and around the bed/room your friend will be staying in, just in case (bed bugs) 😮😮
My landlord refused to treat for pests so I put down alpine wsg in the kitchen and along all baseboards in rooms and bathrooms. I also placed Invict Gold roach gel bait in the cabinets and around the water supply of the toilets. And placed sticky traps in the kitchen under the fridge and stove and pantry. I couldnt afford gentrol to mix in but i did buy gentrol discs to place around Is this alright?
But now 2 weeks later my landlord informed me he is having exterminators come out to spray the building.
Should i inform the exterminator what i have used/done and will what i used interfere with the treatment they are going to do?
Read your lease. See who’s responsible for pests if it’s him send him the bill of what you paid. If not then tell him you sprayed.. only if it’s working though.
You are using some of the best professional products out there, and from what you're telling me your placement is perfect. As far as their product, it's hard to say not knowing what they use, if they do not cross-contaminate your bait with the spray, you should be good to go.
WHAT IS THE EFFECTIVE RESIDUAL ?
Alpine WSG has a 30-60 day residual depending the application site, but it can be reapplied if necessary every 3 days for spot and crevice treatment and every 6 days for general service spray.
Do i need to leave the house after spraying? If so for how long? Thanks!
No, you do not need to leave the house after applying Alpine WSG. All you need to do is stay away from the area until the spray is completely dry, so maybe an hour or so. Hope this helps!
Will this work on different roaches like american and brown banded?
Yes, Alpine WSG will work for all different kinds of cockroaches. If you are dealing with a heavy cockroach infestation you may want to integrate a cockroach bait such as Vendetta or Advion Cockroach Bait. Hope this helps!
Thank you for this video, i bought this recently , and after having two years of roach infestation, im seeing much less roaches,, ive been spraying in my kitchen and my bathroom for the past three days! I have bedbugs now, and i heard this is good for bedbugs, could you please tell me if its safe to spray it on my couch, and if so , how many times? I only see the bugs on my couch.
You can apply Alpine WSG to furniture joints/crevices but it is not labeled for broadcast or all over treatment on furniture or mattresses. You may want to go with Bedlam Plus or Kills Bed Bugs aerosols, which are labeled for this type of treatment. Hope this helps!
@@howtopest4680 thank you so much! Yes, you gave me very helpful info.! I get exterminator service, but what he sprayed never killed my roaches!
This morning , I literally found alot of dead roaches in my kitchen floor I had to sweep up! I am very pleased with this product, and also I notice no nasty odor at all like roach sprays have! Thanks again!
How long does it take to work
Alpine WSG works very fast and will continue to work for up to 90 days!
Does it work on fleas?
Yes, Alpine WSG will work on fleas
Hey thank you for your video, I ordered 500g wsg with a large infestation would you recommend 10g or 20g per gallon with Gentrol IGR? I also bought alpine gel stage one and two and Syngenta - 61596 Evolution Cockroach Gel Bait, advion 68663 Arena four 12ct Bag Cockroach Bait Station. How would you use and in what order?
Hi Chad! Sounds like you have what you need to get the job done right! I would start with 10 grams of Alpine WSG with the Gentrol first, let completely dry. Then follow up with the Alpine or Evolution Gel bait. Stick with one bait then rotate with the other bait about 3 months later to avoid bait resistance . You can place the Arenas at any time after the spray treatment. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
@@howtopest4680 thank you sir!! How much gentrol do you need per gallon?

Should I mix this with a growth regulator or use it by itself I’m a little confused?
Alpine WSG can definitely be a stand alone pesticide, but when you are dealing with an infestation of let's say cockroaches, an IGR mixed with the Alpine WSG can make a world of difference in really taking care of the problem in the long term.
@@howtopest4680 Thank you for clearing that up🤩
I have a 1900sqft house, how many gallons of mix do i need to cover my house?
You will need to read the product label (which we have on Howtopest.com) this will explain the mix rate depending on how you are treating and what you are treating for it varies. Hope this helps.
Would it be okay to use this after spraying zevo?
I’d like to know this as well. I’ve been spraying ants with zevo and it works well, but it doesn’t transfer back as it’s a repellant.
Thanks for the question. I don't know about Zevo, but if it is a repellant, you do not want to use a non-repellant like Alpine WSG with it. The reason non repellants work so well is that they are not trying to get away from the product, With Alpine WSG the ants walk over it and carry it back to the nest and share through grooming and interaction with the colony. Alpine WSG along with a bait are the best way to eliminate the colony.
It says 30 grams is recommended for roaches, so should I use 3 packets then per gallon? Since each packet is only 10grams
Depending on the species of cockroach will determine whether you use 1 -3 packets per gallon. But yes, you can use up to 3 (10g. packets) per gallon of water. Hope this helps!😁
I finished treating. How do i dispose of? I read instructions and dont have a nearby waste disposal center.
Are you wanting to dispose of the packet?
@@howtopest4680 the mixed solution. I mixed my wsg 10g packet into the chapin 20000, sprayed indoors, then depressurized the chanister and let it sit. I know i csn reuse within 14 days. But how do i dispose of the remaining mixed solution. I cant just dump it out into our water system can I? The packet instructions say not to.
Thanks!
Is it good for big roches
Yes, Alpine WSG is a great product for adult or large roaches.
can i use a spray bottle
As long as it a chemical grade spray bottle. Make sure you are reading the label for the correct dosing for the size of your spray bottle.
@@howtopest4680 its a ''made by design'' spray bottle from target
You spoke more about the product than how to use it 😬
does it work for fleas?
Yes! Alpine WSG will definitely work for fleas. You can mix with an IGR like Nyguard for a greater effect!
