Hi NalBi. I just watched this video before going to bed. I can't guarantee you I'll ever speak Korean. But, hey. At least I can say hello fluently. You can't say Love without Hello. Right? 😂 Great video, seriously. Also, ignore the dirty comment in this video's comment section.

You're a good teacher! 감사합니다 친구야!
Thank you so much for your kind words 😊 Yes, you're absolutely right in your understanding! "이것" literally means "this thing," and it's used when referring to a specific object. So, saying "저는 이것 피자를 좋아해요" wouldn't sound natural. Instead, you could say "저는 이 피자를 좋아해요," which translates to "I like this pizza." 👩🏫 Think of "이것" as needing to stand alone or be followed by a descriptive phrase, like "이것은 맛있어요" (This thing is delicious). I'm glad you're finding the lessons helpful! I'll keep making more Korean lessons for you. Keep up the great work with your Korean learning! 💪Thanks again for your comment :)
@@asmrNalBi I understand. Maybe I'm too advanced for this class, haha (but really, I'm still a very new beginner). Actually, I had another question I wanted to ask that I just remembered. Is there a difference between saying 정말 and 진짜? They both translate to 'really'. When watching K-dramas, I hear 진짜 used as if to say, 'is that so?' But can 정말 be used the same way, or is it more often used with descriptive verbs, like 정말 재미있어요? Thank you, teacher :)
@@videoboysayscube 👩🏫 정말, 진짜 both are totally same. 정말 also can be used "Is that so?" (kind of meaning as "Are you sure?") Hope my reply helped you understand :) 한국어 공부 열심히 해주셔서 감사해요. 진심으로 응원해요🇰🇷 아자아자 화이팅!ㅎㅎ
Seon-seng-nim, I have a question. Why are some letters written differently at times? Example: - "s" the way you write it, or like this ㅅ (a curvy hat, I guess? Or a japanese-style roof😆) and - "g/k" is sometimes written with 2 straight lines, but sometimes the downwards line is curved. There are other letters, which I have seen with different writing styles. And they always cause me problems to identify and read 🙃
@@Schnarchnase Thank you for your comment! It’s completely normal to feel confused when you encounter different styles of handwriting or fonts. In handwriting, some letters can vary significantly. * For example, the letter “s” can be written in a more angular or curvy way, depending on the person’s style. Similarly, “g” and “k” can look different, especially when they’re handwritten-some people write them with straight lines, while others might add a curve. 👩🏫 To improve your reading skills, I recommend practicing with various fonts and styles. Over time, you'll become more comfortable recognizing these differences. Keep up the good work in your Korean learning journey! If you have more questions, feel free to ask! :)
