It's stated in the book that because Emma and Julian love each other their parabatai bond gets stronger (which is why she was able to heal the arrow wound), but the downside is that their love corrupts their bond and they fall into madness. That's why falling in love with your parabatai is forbidden.
Fun fact: The chapter titles and the message are all lines from Edgar Allen Poe's Annabel Lee

I forgot that Kit was blond, so the entire time I imagined him being tan with brown hair and then the reveal happened, like by the angel. This is definitely Cassie's best book yet, I actually made a tag on it.
Did you read "A Long Conversation", I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I had to read "The Lottery" for AP Lit this year, so I thought he had to be killed not the killer and yeah! Great video!

I feel like I have to point out that we actually do see poor Cameron Ashdown once. Kit describes him on page 6 of the prologue and he introduces himself to Johnny Rook on page 8 when Rook asks Emma if he (Cameron) is "the famous parabatai".

Im pretty sure Mark can see that everything will end up in chaos for the next book, in the end of the book mark looked like a fey and his amusement is fey like.......and fey amusement is chaos. Anyway saw the Kit thing coming xD but Mark and Kieran is my main ship! When mark said that he should have stayed with the hunt i was so heartbroken and i to be honest was agreeing with him so much, and when Kieran said the stars would have dissappeared/dimmed out before i forget you mark blackthorn made me wanna bawl my eyes out

I feel like I'm not as enthusiastic about Julian and Emma's relationship as I thought I would be. I'm just not the biggest fan of Julian haha, but on the plus side, this book introduced me to Mark Blackthorn who is my actual son ❤️❤️

Neeha Jael The short story is called “A Long Conversation” and it’s set during the time of Lady Midnight, but centered mostly around the characters from The Mortal Instruments, and that’s all I’m going to say because spoilers suck lol

I believe there is a connection in the story from Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy about James (Will and Tessa's son) and Christopher (Henry and Charlotte's son) relating to TiBerius. More so Ty and James. It was discovered that James had a unique power and I believe Ty has the same power that just hasn't been discovered. Let me know what you think !! :)

I loved Lady Midnight so much! Plus I get that it is kinda creepy that Jules has a room filled with paintings of Emma, but since it's the Jules I know and love, i could never consider him as a creepy guy and I forgave him for his obsessions lol.
Did anyone else notice that in TMI Izzy wants a birth control tune and in TDA Emma has a birth control tune

Omg Jesse!! I had the same thoughts about watching Cassie grow as an author. And no one saw the ending coming. Yes!!! The TMI shirt!! And Church!! Yeah, and no one thinks Malcolm is dead either. I think maybe Annabel resurrects him. I think everyone's going to love Kit (Christopher Jonathan, the opposite J.C.) and why does everyone think Mark is creepy? I thought he was just asking why lie tell me more.
I thought the same thing about mark asking why lie, I'm so confused on which way to take it 😂
