Outstanding video dude!!! Short and sweet and your delivery style is spot on. This video steered me away from negative offset aftermarket wheels or costly 20" tires for my stock Platinum rims. Picked up a set of 2021 Raptor rims and tires for $1,500 w\450 miles on them. Had to drive 8 hours round trip to get them, but $100 in fuel and a little time was well worth it imo! Now I just have to get motivated in this cold weather to throw the 2.5" pucks in and enjoy less power and fewer mpgs! ha ha Thanks again!!!
Awesome, and thank you! Great that you found what you wanted. Honestly, I did not notice much power/mileage loss with this setup. Sure, it's made a little difference, but I haven't regretted these changes one time. I appreciate you following along!
I've only confirmed with the 2.5 level lift, which is only the spacers, using the factory control arms. You may want to double-check with the manufacturer of your lift, as it probably uses new control arms, and you'll need to see if those have a chance of making contact. If it's helpful the specs for the Raptor wheels are - 17" x 8.5", with 34mm offset( 3.41 front space, 6.08 back space). Sounds like a great setup, and I hope it works well for you!
Exactly the video I needed to see. I already have the 2.5 leveling kit, and I now need to find a set of raptor wheels and tires. Thanks for the very informative video!

Hey David! Thanks for stopping by! I've been enjoying the truck with the extra lift and larger tires. It didn't make a huge reduction on gas mileage and I'm thankful for that.
Great video and you helped me decide to put 3rd gen raptor take offs on my 2018 FX4 with the long bed, just like yours. I did a 3.5 lift with new UCAs, but other than the front mud flaps, they fit like a charm! Great video!
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors Per my shop's recommendation, went with the 3.5" ReadyLift SST lift kit. Came with new upper control arms and with the raptor wheels and tires, added about 5" of height to the truck, making it under 7 feet, so still fits in most parking garages as well as my own!
Thanks for the suggestion! In short, I didn't notice a huge difference in noise, mostly because I already had all-terrain tires before. The ride may be a bit stiffer, but it's barely noticeable.
Thanks for the video been wanting to do this to my 2012 FX2 F-150 I already have the two and a half inch level kit now I'm on the hunt for some raptor wheels
@@KFox-pj3kf I have rubbed only once - dropped into a deep rut at full turn and made contact. Other than that, this has been an awesome setup! I got a new set of tires last year in the same size - Cooper Discovery AT3s - and I am very pleased.
Excellent! I found mine on Facebook Marketplace after searching for a while. They were worth the 5-hour round trip to get them! All the best with finding yours.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors great video, wish i would have gone your route with the raptor takeoffs vs trying to save some cash and stick with the factory 18's. I'm getting rubbing on the UCA's with 285/75/18 (almost 35")
Thank you! Yes, I used Forscan to update my speedometer. I need to do that again, as my new set of tires is slightly different from the originals. I'm about 2mph off at 70 right now.
I did this with 1.5" Motofab spacers on my 18 2.7EB Super Crew 5.5ft bed. 2.0" spacers would have been enough for your ride. Notice what happens when you put the smallest load in the bed or a trailer? She is way over level then. You will want to lift the back some if that is the case. 3" blocks or 2" blocks plus RAS. 2.5" level spacers are a tad overkill if this is all you wanted to achieve. Bilstein's set @ 1.75" are also plenty enough to achieve this as well, but rode too stiff for my taste. Its the +34" wheel offset that makes this possible. +18" offset is probably the most you can get away with when running the 315/70/17's and a simple spacer lift.
I like the current stance, and I wasn't too worried about the squat with 900+ pounds of lumber I had in there recently. I have considered adding 1.5" blocks in the back, just because. Would 2" spacers work? Maybe, but I'm cool with the extra height. Thanks for stopping by!

It's definitely a softer ride - more rubber between the rim and road. I was worried the front suspension might get more stiff, but I never noticed anything with that. I still love this setup!
Thanks! The cover is the Gator FX hard folding cover. I've been loving it. I did a video of the install with more info if you're interested - ua-cam.com/video/HmlJ1ix4mrE/v-deo.html
Nice work. That’s how these trucks should look from the factory! ;) On my 2011, I have a 2” level with Bilstein 6112s and 285-75r18s on newer factory 18” wheels. Slightly larger diameter than yours, but a fair bit narrower. Like a 35x11 probably. Had to pull mudflaps, but doesn’t rub anywhere otherwise, with a fair amount of off roading to boot.
Nice! I'm still loving my set up. I have since added rear lift blocks to help with the sag when towing my boat, so it's got a pretty mean stance now. ua-cam.com/video/6UCmDtNtBkw/v-deo.html
How'd you get your 285/75/18's to not rub the upper control arm? I just put that same size on my '17 w/ Bilstein 5100 to the highest setting and getting definite rub on the UCA's...are you using spacers??
I use no spacers, but am using newer factory Sport wheels. Tires are Duratracs. Also am now running some 35x10.50r17 Kenda mud tires on black factory F150 “spare” wheels. Mine is a 2011, so maybe newer trucks are different???
@@phild9813 ah that may be it, the different model year may have had different UCA placement or something with the wheel offset difference. I’m having a hard time deciding to return and downsize my new tires or just throw some spacers on it 🤷♂️
Looks real nice and beefy ' I've experienced rubbing when turning into a ramp or drive way, and also vise versa. But ' l got the hang of it after a while. Driving for a few weeks you learn all of it's little limits here and there. Bad ass looking truck you have there 👍🔧
The 2.5" level kit I listed for the front was all that was needed for mine to fit the Raptor tires. I went in afterward and added the 3" lift blocks to eliminate sagging in the rear when towing. I'm still loving this setup! ua-cam.com/video/6UCmDtNtBkw/v-deo.html
While I'm not out doing crazy rock climbing, I've found this set up does very well on rough, rocky trails. Only one time I've had an issue with rubbing when at full turn I dropped off a small ledge and made slight contact. Other than that, it's been a solid setup.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors last question and I’ll stop bugging you. Does your truck have the electric parking brake or manual parking brake? Reason I ask, everyone says raptor wheels won’t fit on 18-20 F150 with Max Tow Package because the rear brakes are larger.
I've been running this setup for 2.5 years, and have only rubbed once - I was at full turn and dropped into a rut. It made brief contact, but no damage, and hasn't happened since. I'm really pleased with this combo!
I dropped off a ledge while making a sharp turn at a local fishing spot and it did make contact somewhere in the wheel well. I immediately inspected it to make sure I didn't rip anything out of there, and could not find the spot of impact. That's the only time I made any contact with this setup. For 99% of my driving, I'm confident it will perform safely.
How long ago did you do this modification and have you had any side effects with that leveling kit? I use the same hockey puck style leveling kit on my 2017 Dodge ram and it didn’t go so well.
I've been running this setup for over 3 years now, and well over 50k miles. I have not had any issues with the leveling at all. I'm on my second set of tires, and alignment is still well within spec. I still love the stance of this truck!
I feel the higher sidewalls give me a softer ride. I got new tires about a year ago, and that made a big difference as well. I went from the BFG AT KO2s to the Cooper ATX, and they are nice!
I'm currently running 35/12.5/20 on a 6inch lift, been thinking about the raptors 315/70/17. I wonder if they would be too small for the lift. Great looking truck btw..
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors I compared the two on some website and seemed pretty close together, within 0.5" like you mentioned, I just haven't found other people's pictures running the same set-up. I see a lot of people with 3" lifts or leveleing kits to be able to fit them properly..
@@shawndaugherty9684 I put the 315/70/17s on my 08 F150 SCrew, and has the 2.5 leveling kit only and Yeah, there was definitely some rub issues 😅 so I went after it with a small circular saw, now she's good 👍🏼
No, not at all. I had a bit of contact with the front fender well one time, at full turn and low speed I hit a large pothole but other than that, no rubbing at all.
curious , what there any difference in the drive with the larger wheels? I once bought a new jeep with the large wheels and lifted a bit , the vehicle would not go over 58 mph. The dealer actually had to replace the gears in order to have the vehicle drive a normal speed.
No, there really wasn't much of a noticeable difference in power - maybe a tad slower on take off. This truck, having the FX4 and max towing packages, is already geared well for larger tires (I believe it's 3.73). Funny enough, my average mileage actually increased after I put these on, but I attribute that to the aggressive tires that I bought the truck with. I do feel the ride is smoother, since I have higher sidewalls.
It didn't go down much - maybe one MPG. I bought the truck with some fairly aggressive all-terrains, so I believe the Raptor BFGs were an improvement, if not for the larger size.
I found a deal on this one, and couldn’t pass it up. I do miss my 07, but enjoy the newer model. I hope to keep this one for quite some time. Thanks for watching!
Twice he said alignment was done after the lift but BEFORE the new tires mounted. Shouldn’t aligned be done AFTER bigger tires installed? And what about speedometer recalibration and headlight adjustment? I have a set of Raptor takeoffs in my truck bed and about to make the plunge
Yes, it would have probably been good to have the alignment done with the new tires, just in case, but it has worked out well over the past 3 years - no unusual wear or drive. I've since went with a new set of tires in a different brand, and still no issues. I used the FORSCAN software to update my speedometer, and manually adjusted my headlights. I hope that helps!
The 80s metal riff made this vid 😂.. btw im looking to put 35’s on my 2019 f150 but dont have the patience to install the 2 1/2 level.. could you tell me what u paid so i can know if im getting ripped? Thanks bro! Subbing!
Thanks! My local shop installed the level kit and did an alignment for under $400. I felt it was money well spent, especially after the guy doing the install told me his struggles with it on their lift. Doing i my driveway would have been a major pain, and I would still wanted to get the alignment done. I appreciate you!
My truck is a 2019 f150 .. bought it used.. think old owner put a lift in front.. don’t know size.. right now from ground to center wheel well is FRONT 39 and back is 40 with ford stock tires 275/65r18.. don’t know what you started with before lift .. do you think I’m good for the size raptor tires? Thanks Tom
It does sound like you have some lift on it. Mine was 38.5 inches without the lift, with the Raptor tires on, so I would guess you have at least 2" on there. I've heard you can fit the Raptor setup with a 2" level. With 2.5" the tires are pretty close, though the only time I ever made contact was dropping into a rut at full turn, and it wasn't much. I imagine you'd be fine on-road.
Put raptor rims and tires on my f150 that already had a 2.5 in leveling kit on it but on a full turn the tire rubs on a bar in the inside of the truck😢
What year is your truck? If you're rubbing on the crash bar in front of the wheels, that can be removed, though it's there for a purpose. With this set up on my 2018 mine does not rub at all.
The Raptor has a completely different off-road suspension, and wider fenders, so these wheels and tires are designed for that setup. The level kit I used simply allowed more room for these wheels on my stock F150 suspension.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors thank you. Yeah I’m just looking into getting back into a pickup after 30 years. I noticed as you work up the F-150 trim level tree, the sidewalls get absurdly stubby to my eyes. One of the things I envy about trucks from what I drive currently is all that sidewall to eat up punishing pavement.
I love this set up. My truck came with aggressive all-terrain tires, so this update didn't really affect my mileage initially. I recently got a new set of tires, and saw improvement to my mileage moving from the BF Goodrich AT KO tires to the Cooper Discoverer AT3 in the same size. I averaged 18mpg on a long road trip recently, so I'm pleased with that.
That’s awesome, the coopers you went with is what i decided on as well and those KO’s are def heavier than the Coopers. Now that I’m going to have to go with a different size due to running on factory 18’s if I don’t get spacers, I’m considering Mickey Thompson’s since they’re available is the smaller size tires
@@cwal_21 I specifically wanted the E-rated Coopers, and they've been great so far. I keep them around 50 psi, and they've performed well on sand, rocks, as well as the road.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors do your tires not run the inside on the upper control arms when you turn the wheel? I have that issue after installing raptor take offs and wonder if the coopers are potentially smaller than the BFG’s in that regard?
Not sure if I can answer that. The stock wheels I took off were 20x8, and the Raptor rims are 17x8.5. I don't have experience with the wider 20" rims. Hopefully someone here can answer your question. Are you asking about offset?
I don't believe that would work without some serious modification. With the 2.5" front level these 35s fit well, but I certainly wouldn't go any bigger. An extra 1/2" most likely would not be enough to clear 2" taller tires.
@@Angry-Little-Fish No problem. Though I did re-read your plan, and it sounds like you're trying to get a total of 5" of lift over stock, using the pucks and lift shocks. That brings in a whole different challenge, as you are seriously affecting your front suspension geometry. If you wanted to go that large, I would imagine you'd need an actual lift kit that includes new control arms, and drop-down components. Best of luck with it all! They're great trucks, and look good with some meaty tires on them!
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors thank you. I found a 6 inch lift from rough country brand for $999.50 so I guess it better to spend a little more to be safe then sorry
That's way outside my realm of knowledge. You may look for a offroad shop nearby to see what you can find out. Those are big numbers for these trucks, so I imagine you'd also need to consider re-gearing, and bulking up your brakes. Feel free to post what you find out! You've got me curious.
I took it out to our deer lease last weekend, and did a substantial amount of off-road driving - lots of rocks, bumps, ruts - and no rubbing at all. The 2.5" puck lift gave me just over 2" once things settled, so take that as you will. Best of luck! Thanks for watching!
how are the pucks holding up? im debating on doing this as a short term since I just purchased raptor takeoffs. Wasn't sure if it was going to ruin the ball joints completely for a couple months of driving before the new suspension comes in.
So far, so good. Right after I installed them I started my hunting season, so I've been bouncing around dirt and rocky roads for the past few months with no ill effects. My truck had over 60k miles when i installed them, with the original suspension, and I've not noticed any squeaking or looseness from that area. I hope that helps. Thanks for following along!
I have a 2004 Lariat 4x4 with tow package, 2" level, 325/60/18. Tires rub a bit at full lock. Does anyone know, would Raptor wheels and tires fit with my setup?
I owned a 2007 4x4 (same body style as yours) and was not able to fit much larger than a 285/70/17 with a 2" level. The Raptor tires are 34.5" x 12.5" so I am confident they will not fit that body style with the Raptor wheel offset. I hope that helps.
I lift 3" then put the raptors but when I turned I heard a noise then cut the plastics dow bumper apparently was good but start the noise again, finally I put off, I saw a light on cluster about pressure module fail, I don't recommended. the raptors are too heavy for a regular f150
I'm curious - did your 3" lift include new upper control arms? I've had no rubbing on the stock arms, the fender liners, or the crash bars with a simple 2.5" puck level. I have heard the aftermarket control arms sometimes stick out further and cause issue with lower offset wheels. I was actually worried about the weight of the Raptor combination, however, I've noticed very little difference in performance and gas mileage over my stock wheels and tires. Thanks for the thoughts, and for following along!
That's the cool thing about owning a vehicle - you can upgrade it just like you want. I prefer the larger sidewalls with smaller wheels, so this works well for me. Thanks for following along!
@@jamielancaster01 Thanks! Yeah, the cost of entry is a bit higher for this route, though I got a decent deal on the wheels, which had decent tires, plus I was able to sell my old wheels and tires, so that offset costs pretty well.
True! I looked into that, too, but really liked the size and look of the Raptor set up. I'm very happy with my set up now, especially since I added the 3" blocks to the rear - ua-cam.com/video/6UCmDtNtBkw/v-deo.html
I got the same exact set up. It looks great and rides well. My only concern is that the sidewall is pretty close to the upper control arm. Have you noticed that as well? What would you recommend? I currently have the stock upper control arm. I would like it to be higher where it’s over the tire.
I have not had any issues with the control arm making contact. From what I've read (I have no experience with it), is that you'd need to add spacers, or work with a different wheel, if you wanted to change control arms to aftermarket.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors thanks for the response ! I’m trying to avoid wheel spacers and will be meeting with my mechanic for some options. I’m thinking after market control arm meant for a 2.5 in level if that’s not going to work hopefully a 4in lift will do it with the upper struts and after market control arm
I didn't mind the chrome wheels - but I like the Raptor rims, especially with the smaller rim size and more sidewall. I'm much more confident taking it on rough surfaces with a bit more rubber around the rims. 😆
Love raptor wheels and tires. I had no issue with clearance at all!.. Oh, wait a minute. I have a 17 Raptor supercab that is almost 5 years old now. Love the hell out of it still... Daily driver. Nice looking crewcab with the bigger bed. Looks much cleaner with the big bed.
Thanks! The Raptors are awesome, and I would love to see Ford offer them with the "useful" bed. 😆 I know that goes against the purpose of the vehicle. I had a shorter bed F150 for 14 years, and now that I've had the 6.5' bed, I don't think I could ever go back.
I love the idea of a Raptor, but I had other needs for a truck. I wanted the extra foot of the longer 6.5' bed - not available on the Raptor. I also wanted a larger fuel tank, and got the max tow package, so I have a 36-gallon tank and the ability to tow up to 13k pounds. I love driving over 500 miles between fill-ups. I like the look of the Raptor wheels, so I jumped on a good deal and gave my truck a little lift. I'm pleased with the results, but I'm not fooling myself into believing I own a Raptor. 😆
That's the cool thing about customizing your vehicle - it's what looks best to you. I still turn around and look at my truck as I'm walking away, so I did something right. 😀
I have heard of 2" lifts clearing 35" tires, but I don't have firsthand experience. I will say with 2.5" it's pretty close, though the only rubbing I've had is when dropping into a rut at full turn and it made a little contact.
Well, you could have saved yourself some money and just bought some 275/65-20 tires that said let me explain a 315 70 17 is approximately 34.3 in tall with 8.7 of sidewall your stock tire is approximately 31.9 in tall with 6 in of sidewall and a 275 65 20 is approximately 34.1 in tall with 7 inches of sidewall the big difference is the stock wheel 20x8.5 + 44 would have worked with the 275 65 20 where as the raptor wheel 17 by 8.5 +55 won't. I think you wanted to level and raise your truck the wheels and tires were an excuse because once again you could have just took the spacers out of the rear approximately three quarters of an inch and bingo still has a little rake but it looks much better. Whichever way you decided to go I hope and pray to God that you took a Phillips screwdriver and adjusted your headlights when you were finished because nothing screams I'm an idiot more than a raised F-150 with the headlights glaring and everyone's face at night but then again as long as you can see EEF everybody else right?...but at least your tires aren't sticking way out like some monster truck. The reason Ford runs a +55 is that it keeps the tire from sticking out which kills fuel mileage that much more
Thanks for the great information on sizing. To reply quite simply, I just like the look of the smaller rim with taller sidewall, and really love the look of the grey Raptor wheels. Yes, I did want to get a bit of lift along with fitting the larger tires, so the level kit was my plan all along. I have since added a larger lift block in the rear to bring the rake back - ua-cam.com/video/6UCmDtNtBkw/v-deo.html - and I am very pleased with how my truck looks and functions. Funny enough, this past year I replaced the BF Goodrich AT tires with Cooper AT3 tires, and I am now getting better fuel mileage than before I lifted the truck. Not sure how that worked, but I'm not complaining. Thanks for taking the time to interact with my video!

Thanks! Yes it does. I ended up buying a single Raptor wheel and adding the best take-off for my spare when I got new tires.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors thank you
how does the ride compare to the stockers
It's definitely a softer ride - more rubber between the rim and road. I was worried the front suspension might get more stiff, but I never noticed anything with that. I still love this setup!
You can go to a 35" tire on stock rims if you get 295/65R20 tires and a 2 inch leveling kit.
Good info, thanks!
Truck looks great. What bed cover is that?
Thanks! The cover is the Gator FX hard folding cover. I've been loving it. I did a video of the install with more info if you're interested - ua-cam.com/video/HmlJ1ix4mrE/v-deo.html
Were you able to fit the setup for a spare under the truck? Thanks.
Yes, I found an extra Raptor wheel and mounted one of my older tires when I got a new set. Fits just fine under the truck!
If you are using aftermarket wheels, I’m sure things will rub die to additional offset, but shouldn’t be rubbing on the control arms?
@@phild9813 ah that may be it, the different model year may have had different UCA placement or something with the wheel offset difference. I’m having a hard time deciding to return and downsize my new tires or just throw some spacers on it 🤷♂️

They're about 3/4" away from the end of the UCA.

I believe these came as an option on the 2019 and 2020 Raptors.
So do I need 2 kits or just the one in link. It says just front.
2021 F150 XLT 4x4 fits 315/70R17s with no level or lift required. Stock 17s with stock offset

Awesome content…subbed and like!! Thank you!!
Hey, thanks so much!
How do these fit when offroad under some articulation / flex?
While I'm not out doing crazy rock climbing, I've found this set up does very well on rough, rocky trails. Only one time I've had an issue with rubbing when at full turn I dropped off a small ledge and made slight contact. Other than that, it's been a solid setup.
Does your truck have the max tow package?
Yes it does! The best part of that (other than the obvious) is the larger gas tank!
@@adampadilla7048 Yes, mine does have the electric parking brake. These rims fit the rears without issue.
I didnt see an update video. How did it work when you went off road? My 2.5" Bilsteins we only good enough if I was very careful. Nothing too bouncy.
I've been running this setup for 2.5 years, and have only rubbed once - I was at full turn and dropped into a rut. It made brief contact, but no damage, and hasn't happened since. I'm really pleased with this combo!
Your truck looks great! Are these tires 315/70 R17?
Thanks! Yes, they are the stock BF Goodrich AT2 in 315/70 R17 that come on the Raptor.
Curious if at full compression if it would rub.
Good Job!
Thank you!

How much did it cost to get the kit installed?

I haven't regretting doing this at all, if that's any help!
How much did this improve your ride quality?
I feel the higher sidewalls give me a softer ride. I got new tires about a year ago, and that made a big difference as well. I went from the BFG AT KO2s to the Cooper ATX, and they are nice!
What generation raptor wheels? I have a 2020 fx4 with the tow package. I want to do this exact thing on my truck!
I believe these are from a 2019-2020 Raptor, so should fit your situation as well as mine with the same set up. I've enjoyed the heck out of mine!
I'm currently running 35/12.5/20 on a 6inch lift, been thinking about the raptors 315/70/17. I wonder if they would be too small for the lift. Great looking truck btw..
Thanks! The 315s are not much smaller than the 35s (34.4" diameter), and with the extra sidewall, I think they'd look pretty good.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors I compared the two on some website and seemed pretty close together, within 0.5" like you mentioned, I just haven't found other people's pictures running the same set-up. I see a lot of people with 3" lifts or leveleing kits to be able to fit them properly..

Hey I see they fit without rubbing but what about scrubbing your a-arms? My tires rub the UAs??
Nope, no contact with the suspension at all with my setup.
Do you notice your tires rubbing the crash bars in the front at all?
No, not at all. I had a bit of contact with the front fender well one time, at full turn and low speed I hit a large pothole but other than that, no rubbing at all.
Stock Raptor +34 offset on those wheels?
Yes, that’s right.
So just to be clear the tire size is 315/70/17?
Yes, that’s correct.
How much the shop charge to install level kit?
If memory serves, it was around $350-400 for the installation and alignment.
curious , what there any difference in the drive with the larger wheels? I once bought a new jeep with the large wheels and lifted a bit , the vehicle would not go over 58 mph. The dealer actually had to replace the gears in order to have the vehicle drive a normal speed.
No, there really wasn't much of a noticeable difference in power - maybe a tad slower on take off. This truck, having the FX4 and max towing packages, is already geared well for larger tires (I believe it's 3.73). Funny enough, my average mileage actually increased after I put these on, but I attribute that to the aggressive tires that I bought the truck with. I do feel the ride is smoother, since I have higher sidewalls.
how your front axles looks with a 2.5 level kit 🤔
So far they're holding up well. There has been no binding or abnormal wear I can see.
how did your mileage change with larger tires?
It didn't go down much - maybe one MPG. I bought the truck with some fairly aggressive all-terrains, so I believe the Raptor BFGs were an improvement, if not for the larger size.
What happened to your 07’ f150?
I found a deal on this one, and couldn’t pass it up. I do miss my 07, but enjoy the newer model. I hope to keep this one for quite some time. Thanks for watching!
What offset are those rims???
The offset is 34mm, and the rims are 17x8.5". On my 2018 the rim face is about even with the fenders, and the wider tires stick out slightly.
Thanks. 😁👍

Thanks! I'm glad it helped. I found someone selling these on Facebook Marketplace about 2.5 hours away. I believe the color is the Magnetic Grey.
How does the Raptor differ from the rest of the F-150's, that it can fit this diameter tire?
The Raptor has a completely different off-road suspension, and wider fenders, so these wheels and tires are designed for that setup. The level kit I used simply allowed more room for these wheels on my stock F150 suspension.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors thank you. Yeah I’m just looking into getting back into a pickup after 30 years. I noticed as you work up the F-150 trim level tree, the sidewalls get absurdly stubby to my eyes. One of the things I envy about trucks from what I drive currently is all that sidewall to eat up punishing pavement.
@@chriskelvin248 That's one of my big reasons for going this route was to give more sidewall. It looks and performs better.
I've had this exact question in mind for a while. Any update on how much your MPG changed with the lift and new tires?

I have that issue after installing raptor take offs and wonder if the coopers are potentially smaller than the BFG’s in that regard?
what is the difference 20x9 to 20x10
Not sure if I can answer that. The stock wheels I took off were 20x8, and the Raptor rims are 17x8.5. I don't have experience with the wider 20" rims. Hopefully someone here can answer your question. Are you asking about offset?
One inch width.
Will 37 tires fit if I add the motorfab leveling kit 3 inch with a 2 inch lift fox shock?
I don't believe that would work without some serious modification. With the 2.5" front level these 35s fit well, but I certainly wouldn't go any bigger. An extra 1/2" most likely would not be enough to clear 2" taller tires.
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors thank you for letting me know I almost spent 700 on parts
@@Angry-Little-Fish No problem. Though I did re-read your plan, and it sounds like you're trying to get a total of 5" of lift over stock, using the pucks and lift shocks.
