Thanks for the Video. Are the crash bars still in the same position? I saw a video where someone mentioned that somebody else spread the crash bars, but later ( about a year I think) because of "metal memory" they moved back to where they were ..or at least enough to start rubbing again...and they had to cut them off anyway. How is the Crash Bar Spread Mod doing? Thanks
It all depends on the offset of the wheel with the tire you want to run. I would recommend running a stock offset with anything over a 33 inch tire on a leveling kit.
Arent the coils not recommended for the 2.7? Im trying to get a coilover kit as well but im still indecisive. I also have the 2.7L running a 2.5” leveling spacer, but inwant to upgrade but keeping that 2.5” level in the front
This is the adjustable coil over that eibach just came out with for the 2.7. It uses a spanner wrench and can be adjusted anywhere from 1 inch to 3 inches of lift.
@@oc6920 I have videos on my channel with the coils installed but I also have the link for them in the buyer beware video. Check out the videos on my channel and it has a lot if you are looking for things to do to your truck but also be able to go back to stock if ever needed one day.
What offset are you running your wheels at? I put these on a 2 inch leveled f150 that had +44 stock wheels with no rubbing issues. I have also heard the +33 raptor wheels will fit with no problem.
@@uf1978 Yea on stock wheels I'm showing 295/70r18 tires will fit with minor trimming. More than likely youll be looking at trimming the corner of that splash guard like I had to do.
Great video - how did you "spread" the crash bar?
I used the hydraulic press front harbor freight. Cost like 60 bucks
@@colbybarrett9883 Thank you!
