    Also remember the magazine only hold 5 rounds.
    The Byrna HD is a legal, less than lethal self defense weapon that fires pepper spray, other filled or solid projectile rounds up to 60 feet using CO2 cylinders. It is powerful and effective for men and women and help protect lives.

    You can load the CO2 cartridge into your HD or SD and if you don’t puncture it, it will last indefinitely.
    BRYNA has made videos on this topic.

    You can fill your cartrige and add the extra ball in before you push the full cartridge in, this will pop the indicator and you have max pellets loaded.

    The magazine looked super easy to release....almost slipped out look...is there a button or something you have to press to release it or do you just pull it out? How snug is it in the weapon?

    After the CO2 Cartridge has been punctured, do you have to wait a certain amount of time or do anything before changing it if it is not empty? Like, is there any pressure built up that would cause a problem if you shot a few rounds out of it then tried to swap it with a new one?

      @kaboomboxva3565 if you change it before it's empty it will just release the gas that is left.

    I bought a bunch of Umarex 12g for the SDXL. They must be slightly smaller than the Byrna's because you have to screw the nut down a little beyond flush with the muzzle... about a 32nd of an inch. Took me 4 or 5 cartridges to figure that out. Tighten it down until it is snug with any of the cartridges and you should be good to go.

    I heard the seal will get deformed if you leave a live cartridge in there for too long. I don’t leave mine in for more than 24 hours. When I’m not using it I’ll leave a full cartridge in there but not tighten it enough to break the seal.

    • @EntrepreneurEverything
      @EntrepreneurEverything  Рік тому

      Thank you for that insight.

    • @marian8757
      @marian8757 Рік тому +1

      There's no need to worry about breaking the seal when tightening the cap for the CO 2 cartridge because the seal only gets broken with the 1st trigger pull... it's automatic. You can not break the seal by tightening the cap. But many testers say pull the trigger to break the seal, with the launcher on safety. Because the 1st trigger pull will launch a round, if it is not one safety, that round will not be at full power because the system is not fully charged. But it's good to know that in an emergency, you can just pull the trigger with safety off, to break the seal, and send the first round.

    • @marian8757
      @marian8757 Рік тому +1

      And also yes, Byrna says do not leave charged cylinders in the launcher because they can damage the seals when left under pressure. So, every time I puncture a cartridge, I use it completely. I toss it and put a fresh one in, unpunctured, so it's ready to go the next time I need it.

    I dont think mid 200fps with 3.0 gram balls or hitting hard enough, ones u hit 300fps plus its better especially with ugly booster, it get mid 400fps on first few shots depending on co2 brand, mostly mid to lower 300fps after which has a better chance to stop a crazy mental person especially with impact balls!
