Exactly. The VA provider told me it was a conflict of interest which means to me their professionalism is extremely questionable, can't think of the other description I wanted to put in 😢
If the VA removes DBQs from public view, the claimant needs to articulate severity of symptoms & their impact on their quality of life and economic adaptability. This can be via sworn statement, within diagnosis, or nexus but it must become part of the evidentiary record: that is critical.
Remember, Denis McDonough is the second non-veteran to ever hold this position. He's a professional bureaucrat. Doug Collins is an Air Force veteran and a chaplain. By default, he would have more empathy and compassion for his fellow veterans than bureaucrat McDonough.
There are alot of veterans out here that rely on people like you two for up to date current info. It's incredibly disappointing when you guys post a video telling us to worry, while simultaneously posting videos talking about all the Great new bills being passed by Congress. You both have past videos saying we're being paranoid we won't lose benefits or compensation, and now this. So which is it? Should we panic, or shrug it off? I feel like you guys are posting these for views. Do better.
@dlmcc1987 they are veterans advocates and they are also salesman. Take everything with a grain of salt. Each and every veteran claim is 99% different. The VA is not out to get anyone, the standards are clear for service connection. However, most of us feel we should get the maximum compensation even if our documented claim says otherwise.
@@texroy1644 i well aware, however for guys that do this all day everyday they have a really bad habit of stepping on their own toes, and going back on what information they put out. I'm a veteran myself and know first hand what dealing with the V.A. is like. And being that you can't get a straight answer out of the V.A. we watch advocates for up to date info, they chose this. Take a look yourself. They flip back and forth between panic, and don't panic. I do my own research, and when you have guys like this putting out info that they themselves are unsure of it isn't a good look. I respect them for trying, but if your anything like me this is incredibly stressful to watch.
@@texroy1644 as far the V.A. not out to get anyone.....yeah that's not true in the slightest. The whole operation is a scam to keep money away from veterans, and that is exactly what these guys are saying half the time.
These guys will make 20 different videos talking about the same damn thing 20 different ways. They’re both full of shit and truly have no real insight of what’s abt to happen. These 2 goal is to fear monger so that you can click on their videos. Their titles are always misleading. And like I said, they’ll make the same video 20 times talking abt the same damn thing 20 different ways
I like the fact that jason is optimistic, but I’m sorry it seems very naïve to think that in many cases a VA doctor is going to provide your DPQ. This is not reality. It is wishful thinking. Clay is spot on when it comes to this.
when i filed my first claim i did not file a dbq years latter i got a dbq for my added claims with instrucions on it through the va via fed x i had to fill in the questions in regards to my claims part 2 the va dr dose not in any circumtances fill out any dbqs on behalf of the verteran it is benificial to have the listed medical condtioin in your va medical file espif the you are filing for a secondary conditon in relation to what you are seeing a va dr i only came under the va when hospilized with mrsa beside va medical care is a joke they half ass everything and take pot shots with you they rather see us loose a foot or just die they are just about themselves not the vet hate the va med system it is a waste of time and a joke still have not gotten my fit test results if they lost it ill go the and sue there ass and stop seeing my va drs
DBQ‘s are not a requirement to submit a claim. Medical evidence is. Medical evidence writes the DBQ. I think I’ve wrote the same thing in the last 10 videos you’ve made on the same topic who cares if they get rid of DBQ’s you don’t need them You need medical evidence! You used to say the same thing but then all of a sudden you’ve changed. I have never submitted a DBQ with any of my claims. They will be filled out electronically at your exam.
I really appreciate jason’s information as well, but Clay has a much more pragmatic view which someone would call cynical, but this is called being pragmatic in real life.
The saying grinding my gears is older than Jason. Clay you are just too young to understand those of us in the so called older generation. I am 80 so there is a huge generation gap. Bear with us old farts, o.k. ?
On January 23, a prominent attorney is going to interview he claims consulting filing firm. This this should be an interesting back and forth…….. ua-cam.com/video/OSJAq6-LV-8/v-deo.htmlsi=1plkOciobU0PzC1T
Thanks for sharing this video with us
Clay, you are so right

Mr. Hill of the law firm Hill and Ponton on his 1-8-25 UA-cam has already stated that a lot of this will depend on the incoming secretary of the VA.

I'm pretty sure they are just living through it just like we are. None of us will know until it happens.

You are correct. Medical evidence and a Nexus. DBQ's are helpful, but not necessarily needed.
