While In rehab for a broken shoulder, knee and tibia, I was given great joy to watch this collage masterpiece by Froyle never quite knew where you were going
every time I watch one of your videos I am aware of how constricted I am! I would have never thought to cut the faces of your image transfers.. Never. The finsished collage is so yummy. Thank you for sharing your adventurous process.
The happeiest time on my weekend! Yeay! Now I walk the the streets of Brooklyn and Ridgewood in NYC very carefully... many boxes with magazines! Yesterday I found a Japanese Magazine in a pile and took it home! Love it! My husband is warning me not to become a junk mix media hoarder!!
I love this and especially how you have expressed your theme. I have lived most of my life without computers, emails, texting etc. I learned cursive script in form 1. I think that's year 6 these days. I know you are a Robyn Mc Clendon fan, as am I, and I love the scripting she does but I enjoy what you do more. Your work has more form and creative organisation while still being intuitive. I learn a lot from you both. Arohanui ehoa. Xxx
I so love your enthusiasm and your art is like icing on a cake-yum! Listening to your process …what you think about while constructing a piece is so inspiring as I see it transformed onto paper. Just fabulous!!!
I love it! The Neograph paper made me happy, also when the circles where so transparent and you only showed the eyes of the second face. It also made me so happy when you put the turquoise on there and when the beautiful rose was so transparent. I was talking to you a lot during this and we actually agreed on most of it. I do love this piece, Froyle, you are so talented.
I just learned if you wetten the paper befor glue down it would rinkle. Just clear water with a brush let sit for a minut or two and than use mattmedium to glue it down (saw it on a video by a German artist Gerda Lipski). No rinkles, it works.
Thank you so much Froyle, for sharing this masterpiece with us. I really love it, you have a superb eye for detail, which sets you apart from the rest. You always cheer me up too, with your great attitude and lovely way of always being so upbeat. You really are an inspiration. I've spent most of today (it's 8.30pm on Saturday here in the UK) doing prints on my Gelli plate - I re watched a few of your tutorials, and I have a lovely bundle of prints now, to start a collage on a large canvas tomorrow. Enjoy your weekend, take care, Val xx
Oh that is fabulous! 😘 thank you for your encouragement! I’m really very tired because I’m preparing to relocate & the move is so huge! I love working big scale & sometimes I then chop them up which is fun too! All the best, cheers Froyle
This is lovely. I have a boat load of CitraSolv papers and I wonder if they need to be treated with a fixative before you use them? My alternative would be to send the jpgs I have of them to a quick print color printing place and use those instead.
Love the collage! I’m intrigued by the last piece that you added to it: you called it a rose. How did you make that? It looks like rice paper with some circular ridges?
As usual spectacular. The tissue paper with the large words printed on it, is not listed in the description section, I would like any information needed to purchase that paper ? I’m in the U.S. , thank you.
Words, bookpages , scribble ... love it!! Im so going to try to make that white on white 😍 Is it paint on tissue? Love your masterpiece ♥️ But now i have to try and make my first ever image transfer .. deary deary me....
It’s white acrylic paint on white rice paper, I just love it! 😍 I have a playlist for image transfer, incase you need further encouragement! 😘 happy creating 👍🏼 cheers Froyle
@@FroyleArt ahhh thank you ♥️ I was wondering if it was tissue or other paper, so your answered my unasked question 👌🏼🤭 Ooohhh yes, i do need more courage and education about image transfer.. im on my way to your vid. 💖🌷
Yes, you could do either, or even glued onto canvas. You could chop it up & make a series ( yes I have done this! 👍🏼) there are a few options depending on how you want to present the art 😘 cheers Froyle

They do smudge a little with matte medium, but it’s not too bad & yes they print very well, I use those prints too! 😘 cheers Froyle
Love the collage! I’m intrigued by the last piece that you added to it: you called it a rose. How did you make that? It looks like rice paper with some circular ridges?
It is paper called Handmade Roses, that I bought from kamipaper.com.au 👍🏼 cheers
Really enjoying your videos. So glad UA-cam led me to you. One thing I was wondering about your photos-are they laser printed on copy paper or what?
Always laser prints! 😘 cheers Froyle

I can't remember where I got that one, it is so old! But if I find it again, I'll let you know! Cheers Froyle
How would you present a collage on watercolor paper substrate? Wooden cradled panel? Framed under glass?
Yes, you could do either, or even glued onto canvas. You could chop it up & make a series ( yes I have done this! 👍🏼) there are a few options depending on how you want to present the art 😘 cheers Froyle
