- In this video, I will be taking you with me through my entire West Point graduation Week. Yes! Formations, briefs, drill practice, grad rehearsals, nails, hair, grwm, everything! I am so thankful for these past 4 years, and want to thank God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son for making the creation of this video and all its contents possible. Without Them, none of this would be possible. Thank you to my friends and family who were with me every step of the way!
**DISCLAIMER** All parts of this video are my own experiences. Nothing represents DOD or USMA. For legal purposes, this whole video is notional. Additionally, please do not base your opinion about West Point or the Army off of this single UA-cam video.

Just seeing this video one year later. Suffice it to say, better late than never. I'm a retired seventy-five (75) year old man that is made to be proud each and every day I see my younger Sisters & Brothers moving on up. My life and the lives of my generation and generations before me are of great value to the future only so long as you keep going. NEVER STOP. NEVER GIVE-UP.
I couldn’t be more proud of you and your sisters! I LOVED this video! We are ONLY 10 minutes in and I’ve cried TWICE!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!!❤️
Congratulations! Thank you so much for documenting your WP experience. There aren’t many videos out there done by African Americans. Our son is now a cow up there, and we missed so much because of COVID. Thanks to you, we get to experience some of the behind the scene’s action at WP. Congratulations to you and your sister, and thank you for your service. Even though we don’t know you, we’re extremely proud!!
This means so much to me, thank you!! Best of luck to your son!
Congratulations to your son as well. Us Old Grads are always here to help.
Was your son in H1 by chance?
Yes he was
@@Kdixon2722I was also in H1. You raised a great son ma’am!

It’s obvious you come from a great family that believes in sacrifice and service. Be proud.
I remember when Grad week when I checked for my Mil Art Final grade, I carried the same emotion. I'm super proud of you and your sister for growing the Long Gray Line as you have with poise and class. Grip Hands... A-1 c/o '03 Remember we do more together.
Thank you so so much for this comment!!🥺 MilArt almost took me out the game🤣
Totally inspirational 🫡🇺🇸
Incredible video!!!
Thank you! 💕
Nice video of an incredible journey, the one shared by all the daughters and sons of West Point. Lead well and faithfully, with service before self, honoring your oath, the reputation of this Long Gray Line extending back to 1802 and the Corps of yesterday, today, and forever into the future. ~ DFR78
This is awesome congratulations 🔥🔥🔥
So happy for you, greetings from England.
Heyyyy! Thank you!🩷
@@jasmynmonique You earned it!
Twin sisters in West Point, talk about a power duo!
Thank you for your service.
Although my dad did not attend West Point, he would have been proud of these young people of color who made it through. He was a veteran of WWII. And I feel that in some way. He helped to open some doors for them.
In the middle of all the BS we currently have to deal with as Americans, especially with people who want to install an autocracy in this country and give power to one self-absorbed incompetent, this is so reassuring and just plain GREAT!
Congrats to you and your sister both! Good luck to you both in the future. 💕
Thank you so much!💕
wonderful!
Congratulations! What are those yellow stripes on the upper arms? Some have a few and others have many.
they are what rank you are. Every senior has at least 3, and if you’re higher in rank you have more and more!
Love this!
@JasmynMonique congrats on graduation! How was it possible your sister was a top graduate in her major but couldn't graduate with her class?
EXACTLY LIKE??? she was a way better cadet than me loll
@@jasmynmonique So can you share why she was held back? I'm just curious if she was that good of a cadet, why would she be held back? That doesn't make any sense. It could be a good idea for a video...
Congratulations on graduating from one of the best schools in the nation. West Point is a great school that many of our strongest leaders have graduated from 🙏 start double tapping Russian orcs. Pop pop. Such an inspirational photo.
Omg congratulations!!🎉 if we have questions should we just leave them in the comments ?
Yes, please!
& thank you so much!
Okay so I want to join the army but I had a couple of questions.
1. Is basic training hard?
2. If you have a bachelors degree already, would it make more sense to become an officer?
3. As a graduate, do you think going into the military is a good route to gain experience?
4. How do you balance your life while in( like friends, family, having fun ) or is that pretty much non existent?
I know our paths are different but just thought I’d ask to get some clarity! I’m going to talk to a recruiter tomorrow but I’d like to hear from a female
@@courtneymiles78 Oh my lol this is a lot, could you dm me on IG & I’ll reply to you there!
Congrats ma'am!
thank you!!!!
ELITE

Where do you go for your har appt?

At what point at WP do you get to have a car?
Second semester of your junior year!
At last
i follow you in your tiktok
i like it over here on YT better!!
Did your sister graduate?
She did!
@@jasmynmonique Yes,Lord!
Are you Jamaican?
Doesn't seem plausible that you don't know what the "issue" is regarding not graduating on time. Do we have a conduct issue here? Time to get your shit together and start leading before you run into the "E-4 Mafia". Congratulations and good luck.
Women of color can accomplish many things. Also, Black Indigenous Women can also accomplish this as well. And as a part of both the Cherokee and Senegalese African communities by way of my parents, I salute you for your success and efforts.
KADERSCHMIEDE
Hi
Congratulations
U can run?????????????????????
They are all children.
She has father
yes a father & a mother
As a retired army veteran i disagree with the whole hair thing and this black thing. In the army we are all different colors. And the segregation of this black thing white thing and acting like this crap matters is pure bs. But that's ok maam my fellow soldiers will snap you up.
Bless her. She’s going to have to deal with giving orders to clowns like you as soon as she gets her commission.
unfortunately its a part of the job :( but I learned how to deal with people like this at school so I’ll be okay!🩷 @mzmel1
I agree. You are a soldier, nothing less, nothing more, but when they do this stuff to separate themselves or differentiate themselves it really has more of a negative connotation on the entirety of the purpose of the military. It's sad really.
Congratulations
