Awesome restoration, Jay! You made it better than new. You are so right about our throw-away culture. I still have my dad’s post hole diggers which are WAY better made than anything I see in the stores these days. Thanks for sharing!
Yes in deed Sir, ( Disposable society ) and good folk's like you are making better by saving it 😇👍👌 Outstanding oiler 👌👍😇 OUTSTANDING restoration and have a safe week Sir Cheers 🍻🍻
Correct on disposable society, big fan of ‘upcycling’! Just finished 2 twin bed frames from 2x6 rafters that were removed from a 1977 dismantled tractor shed! They’re beautiful and WORTH THE TIME & EFFORT, thanks for the good content!
Thank you! It really turned out nice! I use engine enamel for whatever I paint. Ive come to learn the paints designed for engine blocks are tougher than average paint! This was gloss red engine enamel high heat! Stuff is durable paint!
Great job buddy!! Your exactly right what they sell now is absolute crap!! Back when that was made that's when they built quality tools!! A lot of people are just lazy....either they pay someone else to do the work or throw away the old and buy new!! Most things are pretty much throw away now.....it's pretty sad!! Stay safe my friend
I have the same post hole digger. It’s great and will last your lifetime and probably your sons. Have you ever done a video on sharpening an axe for splitting wood?
In your videos could you talk about or put links to the items that you use? For example, what grain sandpaper did you use on those handles? What was the attachment to the grinder? Was it a brush or a steel brush? It would really help novices like me who are trying to learn about the stuff. Thank you for your time.
Hey brother. I will make another video addressing these basic tools where to get. What they are called etc I used. Please subscribe and I’ll let you know when it’s up.
