- Classical styling mixed with modern capability is the idea TCX put into their Drifter Waterproof Boot. And they’ve managed to do it very well, even at a middle of the road price that won’t leave your wallet starving.
TCX does it by starting with an upper of vintage leather that gives the boot its retro looks. Styling continues with a simple 3 buckle closure, a traditionally styled stitched sole with heavy tread lugs, and a rich brown color as the only option available.

These are the best ADV/Touring boot I've personally ever bought at a good price point.
Three years old and no failures to date in the construction of the boot. I've probably ridden over 20-25,000 miles in these boots. Great TCX boot

No, the Drifter boot does not use Gore-Tex. TCX does offer the Baja Gore-Tex which you can check out here:
