    When streams get real low and warm in the summer I have found them in a few places. First place is the bottom of runs going into long flat or deep sections. A lot of times they are stacked there. Food and oxygynated water is plenty. Second place is shade. Either brush, bank overhangs, or shaded ledged in as little as 6 inches of water. These seem to be the places I find them.

    You know what's great about fishing with pedal drive kayaks even if you don't use the pedal drive? They have rudders you can change with a dial and where your moving in current or the wind blows you or you are drifting after paddling you can always steer and use the rudder to orientate yourself!! Pro tip!

    • @CreekFishingAdventures
      @CreekFishingAdventures  Рік тому

      i have used rudders but if the current is strong it still can be hard to maneuver

    • @steveklick
      @steveklick Рік тому

      @@CreekFishingAdventures Yes but it helps!! You always want to be in the correct position for accurate casting and then proper lure display while reeling in and then proper hook set. If your direction is off then all these things are affected. If you have an interchangeable lock for the direction dial on either the left or right hand side then you put the dial on the side that you reel with so you can always hold the rod firmly with one hand and then take your hand off the reel for quick micro adjustments to the dial.
