- Though I don't speak of it a lot, Top Gun: Maverick is one of my most anticipated movies of this year. I loved the first movie so much more than I expected to and I am so excited to see Tom Cruise pilot a jet once again. The cinematography looks jaw-dropping from what we've seen and I cannot wait to experience those beautiful visuals on the big screen.
