    Great to see you again, it's been a minute..😂 Starter fluid and a Zippo will seat the bead again, we do Mega Truck tires that way. If it were me, I'd push all that wood and debris above the tide line, to be used at a later date. Love ya'll ❤️ The Jeep should work fine..

    Good morning from Cape Cod. What a beautiful morning you are having. Wow a lot came ashore during those storms. It amazes me how much stuff is floating in the ocean that we don’t see until a storm brings it ashore. That was no easy task. Good job Brian. Was good to see you today. I’d like to wish you and Diana a Happy Thanksgiving. Hope to see you again soon. Take care✌️🇺🇸❤️❤️

    A grappler attachment for your tractor would be a good investment in this situation.

      You are right! Bryan moves enough wood cleaning his beach road up after storms that a grapple attachment would really pay for itself quickly as well as making handling logs for the saw mill much easier too.

      And while one is talking equipment you be amazed at the versatility of an excavator.

    The POW region house has a wood fired central boiler that would love to eat that driftwood Brian! A little tarped drying 5 months would work.. the boiler can eat fuel that a wood stove wouldn't do well with. Great Video!

    Videos like this make us further north glad we only have to plow snow. Down in SE you get to plow heaps of driftwood instead 😛

    Any sought-after properties of logs that get water logged then dried on your beach? Or are they useless (other than an epic bonfire)?

    With all of that plentiful wood that washes up on the beach every year, personally I would get a saw mill and make my own lumber. As we live in Alaska as well, always love seeing another part of it's beauty. Thanks for sharing.

    Like you said if it isn’t one thing it’s another. I always thought that after our kids grew up we’d have so much time to do the things we wanted to do. Turns out it’s the opposite. All we can do is pray and take one day at a time. Have a Great week and Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Brian, can you burn any of that drift wood? Either in your stove, or just in giant pile to get rid of it? (btw stay warm!)

    The big tide brings all kinds of firewood :) I think I'd be cutting out your overland trail to where the boat is your beach trail is a lot of work cleaning it up, & looks pretty hard on that little tractor, take care stay warm"

    Another nice one. Great visuals. I live off grid and road system in Long Arm, off Noser Bay North of Ketchikan. As you say, if it's not one thing it's the next. One does need redundancy out there--backup to the backup. Splendid isolation, thank you Warren Zevon. The adventure abides!

    You should look at YankumYankam ropes for your winch, They have wonderful ropes rather than cables that will not rust. They have a bunch of rope products. Maybe you can contact them or they can contact you to test in the winter environments and on the water as well. #yankum #YankumRopes

    One question, are you able to use this logs for firewood? Thanks for the feedback and stay safe!

    • @jons5898
      @jons5898 19 годин тому +4

      Most of those driftwood logs have lots of sand in the cracks and crevices which is really hard on any kind of saw blade, especially chainsaws. So I guess it depends on how badly you need firewood.

    At least you dont have a dead whale on the beach. 🤣 If you can you you might want to save some of that stuff for later, wife might like a couple of chainsawed benches or so.
