If you're like most people, you probably have a to-do list, and you use it to help you focus on getting things done.
If you don't have it, you might want to make one, as it brings plenty of psychological benefits.
However, I would also suggest you create a not-to-do list.
This list compliments the to-do list incredibly well, and it might be even more important.
    Let me explain...

This is brilliant. Rather than making a separate list, I'm just going to add the NOTs to my bullet journal's daily to-do list. If I check everything off the list on a given day, I give myself a sticker in the journal. A very similar thing I did for studying was not to plan my study time and not know what to do in between, but instead plan my free time like sleep, eating and even one hour to play my favorite game.
Because then, during planned time, I was free to think about the things I want to study during unplanned time.
So, some kind of inverse psychology: Normally we make plans for complex tasks. But if you put eating, sleeping and playing games onto that list, studying is something easy that you can do out of boredom.

Never thought about a not-to-do list but it would help immensely. I check things off of my to-do list but also watched about 3hrs of UA-cam first :/ I think this is gonna help me a lot. Thanks!!

Tim Ferris is also a great proponent of making a Not-To-Do list.
It indeed is a great rule to act as the boundary to manage time and productivity.
    Great video :)

In the past, I spent too much time on choosing different items that I wanted to do, like watching my favourite videos, cooking for myself, learning English online, and reading my favourable books. This really wastes time because I am most likely to do the easiest and most effortless things, which keeps me from finishing my study tasks in the end. It makes me feel guilty and sad all the time. After watching this video, however, I wil try to make a NOT-TO-DO List to focus on the most important task.

Thank you so much!! This video popped up just at the right time, i can't believe the magic of this universe.
I love my freedom, so I fully shifted to freelance writing for the past few months. What I didn't see coming was the extreme kinds of procrastination that I am capable of. Too much freedom has left me always worrying about work yet not doing any of it. As a result... I don't even enjoy my freedom.
I am going to put this in practise!! And put limitations on myself 😭😭
