As always, I sit here shaking my head in awe as I watch your videos.
There really is no end to your talents is there?
Brilliant to watch this
I wouldn't have thought that a mere mortal could make something so shiny.
Outstanding, as always.
Are you secretly a dragon?
You demonstrate the type of skills we mortals can only dream of. Having the right gear helps but nothing can be a substitute for skill . Well done .
Beautiful job of blending. The finish looks like what you would find on a $50,000.00 Steinway.
search for shigeru kawai Pyramid Mahogany that looks nice
I wouldn't defile this with the name of Steinway. He actually put effort into this.
@@patrickmeyer2802 And you think the makers of Steinways don't?
PERFECTION! I'm sitting here, eyes and mouth wide open. You are a true master of your profession!
Master carpenter, master painter and a good portion restorer. I admire your versatility, but as a watchmaker your workshop gave me chills. You should get a beautiful studio.
Spent the first couple of minutes thinking this is going to look really average. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Stunning job mate 👌👌👌
Would love to see the completed piece that this goes with, not normally a fan of high gloss but with that combination of wood it’s looks stunning 👌🏼
This is a stand-alone vinyl record turntable case.
Wow! WOW! How exquisite! You have a wonderful talent. Greetings from southern Alberta!
Stunning! My jaw dropped so far I was having difficulty eating my pie and peas....😊
Great to see a real craftsman at work. Thanks for the putting the time and efforts into your videos
Really nice to see someone on here that knows the proper way to hold and spray a paint cup! Great pattern, BTW. 👍🏼
From someone who sprayed automotive paint onto semi trailers (lorries) for decades as a trailer mechanic. 👋🏼🙂
This is incredible. The end piece looks really amazing with this finish 👏
I love how you work Russ, and all the clever tricks with the woodwork, but I'm so impressed with your finishing! I'm making a big dice from Elm and Mopane and will now have to up my game on the finishing, which was never my strong point.
Love the videos.
Seriously, brilliant job. Each time I thought you were finished, another sanding and another layer of wax and such. Very nice work!
Thanks for shring your skills with us! Your layering system, using pigments in suspension with your finish, was certainly effective. I can now better appreciate why your record player cabinets are worth so much.
I'm convinced you're a Wizard !!
Fabulous work! I must have missed the veneer work, I thought I’d watched all your videos!
Absolutely beautiful! You are a true artist!
Absolutely stunning work on The grain and the shine is outstanding. Great video mate
Wow! Thanks for sharing that. The wood grain blending and the choices of finishes.
Brilliant job blending in the sapwood and joints 👏👏👏 and the end result is absolutely beautiful! 🤩
proper craftsmanship, rarely seen nowadays. respect.
Years ago,1990's, I restored a Triumph and found an old Polish guy in London to restore the dash and door cappings, one capping was past repair but the grain matched the other,I couldn't find a set or even a pair so I left them with him reluctantly accepting that he would veneer the damaged one but I d lose the continuity. when I picked them up he had painted the grain on the damaged re veneered one to match the original,it was a beautiful job, wish I still owned the car. but anyway It's great to see such skills still being practiced, especially by someone so relatively young.
Excellent! A Finisher would be proud of this job! 🇦🇺👴🏻
wow, what a wonderful piece of Art. You are not just an amazing carpenter, you are also a terrific artist. I really have no words for your talent.👌🎨
I have often found a brush dipped in the lightest amount of mineral spirits , dried and they ran with the grain across the pigments to help create a more natural look in light woods and finishes. Have had to do this many times on refinish and repair veneered, fire rated doors.
just WOW! You are an amazing craftsman. Pure class! Thank you !
Superbe travail, cela fait plaisir de voir des personnes qui ont encore cet amour
Attention to detail and perfection is rivaled only by clickspring.
WOW, your skill amazes me. It's a beautiful job. You should be proud as always.
Marvellous craftsmanship! Beautiful work.
Very nice finish. Excellent skill on display. You are a Master Craftsman. Please accept this title. 😀
Speechless ! Great work and touch up. Loved it. Thank's
You're woodworking is incredible such a fantastic job.
super beautiful job ! congrats
I'm a year late, but well done! For everyone else, it takes an artist eye to do that kind of work, it's more of a talent you have than a skill you can practice up on. I tried it for years and never got very good at it, didn't have the knack.;)
Lovely work buddy, love your video production style as well. All in all I really look forward to bringing out new vids. Please don't stop :)
Very informative, thank you. I now know your "day job" is reproducing Renaissance masterpieces in the ladies room. What a combination of talent! :D :D
I wished I lived near you. I would beg to apprentice from you- for free. My granddad was a carpenter. He died before knew I had an interest in this art form. Your work is lovely.
A true master of his craft!
Sir you are an artist beautiful craftmanship
Absolutely stunning finish!
I would challenge anyonemtomfind you touch up. Remarkable! Well done...
Wonderful finish. Welldone.
WOWOW,... you are an incredible master craftsmen... CONGRATULATION
Impeccable. Thanks for showing this.
Beautiful work
MASTERY in the flesh, I mean in the wood
A true craftsman at work ( amazing)
Man, this is fire! I mean litteraly, look at this wood.
Wow! I'm speechless 😲
Nice work....A badger hair brush would greatly assist with the softening and blending
What a finish...wwaaaaaaaaaaaaw, love it!
Tha're a talented lad tha' knows!
After some time you'll be able to see painted parts as the wood will change his colour due to U.V but not the paint.
I've seen that phenomenon on many old restored furnitures.
My thoughts entirely. As a trained French polisher I know from experience that earth pigments hold their colour better than the natural colour of wood. UV has the tendency to bleach woods over time.
@@bainsk8 I'm french too! Cheers brother
Absolutely Beautiful! A true craftsman.
Outstanding work !! Thanks for the video .
Fantastic craftsmanship
By 'eck, I'd be that proud to 'wear' this high gloss grain to my funeral. Mind, I'd have to be laid to rest in a suitably grand vault to reflect the craftmanship, rather under the sod or in't flames.
Mouthwatering. Beautiful work.
Beautiful.
Stunning work.
Please make more videos I love your skills you have
NICE Job !
Absolutely amazing!
Brilliant to watch
With all those layers and blending it is like Photoshop but in real life.
Just that in real life it was the other way around, right?! First was layer painting then photoshop layers, historically.
Masterfully done!
Beautiful work!
That was amazing to watch at the end result is truly magnificent, I assume your day job is a French polisher because that's hardly the kind of skillset a DIYer just picks up 👍
Beautiful
Would love to see some of your work with a French Polish Finish.
Great job mate.. is there no end to your talents 😉👍
Magnificent!!
Very beautiful. Congrats.
just one word........WOW.......
Belíssimo trabalho, parabéns! A propósito, que tipo de madeira é essa?
Incredible....
Amazing work!
Wow! I read about it in Michael Bennett's book but never imagined there would still be a true craftsman painting wood grain in 2021. Do you need special epoxy for oily hardwood?
Stunning!!!!
Nice work! Mind sharing what setup you used on your gun to spray the polyester and clear coats?
This is class
YES! i love shiny sparkley things.
extraordinary
Stunning
It'll do I suppose 😉😉
Your increase the level each time ! Is amazing .... how many hours of work on this projet ?
Rolls Royce quality all day long . Very nice 👍
Gorgeous.
Great job matey well done
1:16 It's like watching 'Baumgartner Restoration'.....😎
Great job.
Beautiful!
Some high end shenanigans
WOW!!! nuff said.
The automotive clear coat is really interesting!
Would you recommend it as a kitchen worktop finish compared to epoxy?
Thanks!!
not only a craftman, but an artist! i think you do paintings?? right?
