That red fuse holder under the dash with the green wire is for the factory electric antenna module.

Sure is. I figured that out later on after I filmed that bit. Just have to figure out why they pulled power from it and for what

I got my VK Berlina out of retirement in November last year it’s now my daily driver. The ever trusty efi 202 starts and runs great! I bloody love the thing.

I’ve heard the injected 202s are a good little thing. I’m looking forward to getting to the one I have. Just trying to get together the parts it needs.

@@V8JakeC they definitely are, there are internal differences between the efi and carb engine. Holden did a fair bit of R&D on them to get the very best they could from the old design.

I have read that but yet to personally experience it, But looking forward to it. From what I’ve read the cam specs are very similar to the xu-1 cam and the changes in the head support it.

Good video, I like these 6-cylinder Holdens. The original starter motors never cranked the motor as hard as the 'high torque units' that typically replaced them as seen in this video.

They’re a good little motor when they do run!

I miss my VH vacationer wagon every day (it's been 16 years). Same blue combo as this beast!

They’re a great little car. I really like the blue combo on this. It’s something you really don’t see these days.

That thing was fighting you all the way. It's a lot of effort for an old plain-Jane Commodore 6.
    Well done mate

@V8JakeC That's why it was fun to watch, been there many times myself. Your comments made it fun. The internet, Go Pro's & mobile phones with camera's didn't exist yet for many of the projects I did. At least I still have my VL & it's still not finished ha ha

Believe me, as soon as the camera gets turned on the problems become 100x worse. I rectified all the 1%ers today and had a fairly hassle free day

@V8JakeC yep, that's alway's how it goes ha ha. I did a video on fixing one of the electric window regulators & it was a shit fight. Proper train wreck ha ha.
