My is doing the same thing but I have had it turn on a few times and when the navigation and all pops up it stays up so do you think it could be something other than the ccc?
@@tuckerbessinger8003 supposedly.. if you insert a new dvd newer than 2009 and run.. v29 of the software., it’ll do that so you can remove disk manually and should work. I’m in the process of doing this now. If I let it sleep.. snd hold eject only on the dvd.. it won’t boot.. leading me to believe I’m right. If I hold the reset keys it’ll do that too but this was different. I also caught it like this during a reboot and it froze lol until I did a reset and kept rebooting. Lol
They have v69 now but I’m afraid to program via kcan so I’ll get a most thing and do that. I’m an Info sec engineer so it’s not something I haven’t fixed. If I could troubleshoot a windows ce atm in high school.. I can’t fix this Damn thing. Apparently if the car ever loses battery.. it needs a reprogram with factory firmware lol nice.. stupid ass design. I get it., old hard drives in 04 barely had shock protection. Bumps supposedly fix others cars. My pdc works.. the Damn most gateway works.. runs through its tests but fails to communicate over obd when it’s in a loop. If I cab get the dvd out., it’ll stop. They put a boot file on it that csn corrupt older versions lol
The mpm is fine.. amp fine.. somehow.. but the stupid radio won’t talk unless it shuts up. I csn btuefly connect.. that’s another clue. Sometimes if I hold reset it’ll almost get through a full self test. Does the most test fine.. which is controlled by ccc… so ffs.

Because the radio displays car information you cant really replace the radio. Also don't forget that is a different component is causing problems that can also be the source of the problem.
Really good video! I would really appreciate your opinion because it seems you know alot! I just got a BMW 2004 645i (convertible) but it doesn’t have Bluetooth or aux to connect my phone. What is the best/cheapest way for me to connect my phone audio to the speakers? Can Bluetooth audio be added to the factory radio?

Usually the newer models had the aux behind the shifter. If your car did not have a factory aux the Dension unit is the only way I know to add an aux to it.
You kinda can't swap the radio in that car because car information is transmitted on the factory screen. You can add car play and you can also add Bluetooth.
We can do that for you if you are local to us but it is not something we currently ship. But if you are looking at this in the future check the site because we might sell it eventually.

There is no reason to lose sound if you replace the screen. Did you replace something else?

Unfortunately I don't think that would be the problem. I would start with the fuae box. And then bypass in need d modules like BT and navigation.

Usually the newer models had the aux behind the shifter. If your car did not have a factory aux the Dension unit is the only way I know to add an aux to it.
So I just bought 2005 BMW Series 6 · 645Ci Coupe 2D and the radio doesn’t work and so is the screen. Any suggestions other than replacing the radio?
You have to find someone to troubleshoot. It could be anything in the audio system. If one goes out it takes the entire audio system out.

I have never installed a radio in this car because the factory radio controls some of the cars features.
