Also keep in mind this season takes places a few WEEKS after Glenn and Abraham were killed.. (hence why Maggie isn’t showing pregnant yet) And season 8 takes place over about 2 weeks shown in 16 episodes

The Kingdom episode is really good but devastating. I think it's episode 4, not sure, but the camera work is exceptional and Kharry Payton is just outstanding.

I don't agree with Paul(not calling him Jesus), but I think I see what his mindset is. Not all of the saviors are complete monsters. Dwight is proof that some of them are just people who were too desperate or too scared to face Negan and the others. Paul doubts the militia will kill every single savior since some of them do have families and wants to have peace before that.
I think the reason people say this season is slow is because we had to wait each week for the next episode the wait breaks the immersion its actually a really good season frustrating at times but still good
