Mini jig trout fishing lake camanche slaying it on a slow day

It was a slow day until I found the school and the bait of the day witch was a berkley powerbait atomic tube in the grasshopper color and I was throwing that on my 8’0 ultra light berkley lightning rod with a shimmano sienna 500 series reel on 2lbs test fluorocarbon line

I won't be fishing till April 15th 2022 , but I watched another video of someone using Berkeley atomic teaser grasshopper and had the same outcome catching them. So I bought 7 different packages of them and watching you I going to enjoy trying them out. So thanks , appreciated your work.🙂🙂

Yo thanks mike these grasshopper jigs are an amazing lure smart choice grabbing multiple packs they are hard to find at times these have been my go to lure for 3 years now I’m glad you enjoyed this video and I wish you luck with them jigs on your next hunt

I have that same Shimano rod and reel combo, bought a week ago I’ve used it so far once and feels amazing. How your experience with it?

I love it the reel is smooth as butter and rod cast great not to mention handles the fight very well it is a little heavier in the hand then I would prefer but it dose the job for me I hope you like the video

@@trouthunterz4834 I almost caught a carp but my. Line snapped but it had to have been like a foot and half long normally they stay more in the deepest part of the pond and come up closer during the summer time when water temps start to rise up
