This pair of Ferragamo oxfords were sent in to us for repair. The soles had been worn through, and they were in need of some TLC. The customer wanted us to spice these up a bit more, so that's what we did. This worn, old pair of Ferragamo's went from worn out to eye catching.

I don’t think any amount of practice could make me confident enough to split that new sole by hand for the blind stitch...awesome!
It definitely makes us nervous...and a small bead or two of sweat may come down our faces. Haha
How many razor blades y’all go through in a week? I’m guessing only a brand new blade would split that well.
Experience is merely the name men gave to their mistakes.

Absolutely LOVE the closeups and please keep doing the shots of the equipment setup/changes (i.e. sole press)!
Ive never been interested in cobbling, untill i came across one of your videos. Its extremely interesting and intriguing. Please keep the content coming!!
True. I don't even know why I clicked on one of these videos in the past, now 65 videos or so into it...
I just happened to stumble upon one of your videos and started binge watching. Excellent work and info.
This reminds me of when I was a kid, our neighbor Mr. Steele had a garage full of machines that I didn't quite understand what they did, until I needed my boots resoled. My mom told me to take them to Mr.Steele. I didn't know it but, he did shoe repair. He also made belts, made horse harnesses and saddles. If it was made of leather he could repair it or make you a new one.
I also wasn't aware, until there was an article about him in the paper, he made a set of harnesses for one of the Budwiser Clydesdale teams. He was quite the craftsman.
You guys do some very impressive work, just like Mr. Steele.
You're the best! Great job! Ad a child I used to spend hours watching our neighbour, a very kind old man, working in his tiny cobbler workshop in a small italian village. It was a good time. Thank you guys for reminding me of that amazing top quality work, it's reasuring to see it hasn't got lost
Wow those look stunning! I love the partial red stitching and the faint hue of the purple. Another fantastic job guys!
Thanks for helping me relax; especially with everything going on. Be safe, my friends
Always mesmerized watching your shoe restoration videos. Great craftsmanship.
Pretty awesome stuff! Sitting at the kitchen table at the firehouse might just have got you 9 new followers. Guys are binge watching your videos
Haha...that's awesome! Thanks guys! Our dad used to be a firefighter as well. Thanks for what y'all do.
Happy New Year gents . OMG those soles are so gorgeous that if they were my shoes I wouldn't know whether to wear them or just display them. If I did wear them it would only be on carpet. Once again the masters creativity at work.
Thank you so much! We appreciate that.
We just love getting a new video! Love learning and watching your stuff!!
Love your work guys, there is something soothing about watching these transformations, over the years I have thrown too many repairable out , if only I were young enough again to invest in some quality foot wear and call on you guys to keep rejuvenating them 😊, how ever I love your channel and the craft you are keeping alive . Keep safe in 21
These shoes look so much better and the artistic twist in the end with the stitching definitely adds personality to the shoes. Awesome job!
Thank you!
Who would have thought watching shoes and boots being restored was so interesting. Love the videos!
The purple sole and red stitching look fantastic!!
Happy New Year, Guys! Keep up the great work! Edge dressing sucks! I second that notion.
Beautiful work done on the shoes. The red stitching was a nice touch to add some color. Gentlemen have a safe and warm weekend.
Thank you so much! Please do the same.
Sole repairs done by the best souls!
Thank you so much!
This is a ringing endorsement to get toe taps...held up on the old soles and look stellar on the new ones.
I’ve been following your channel now for about four months and this might be one of my favorites that you guys have done. Being a golf professional I think the $13 Allen Edmonds golf spikes is still my favorite. I would love to see some thing golf themed again from you guys but maybe with a different twist. Be well and thanks for the awesome content!
Great to see Mount Glue-vious make a return to the screen!
One of the best so far! Great one. They look better than new. Your improvements added so much value.
Thank you so much!
Wow. Great closeups! Love the equipment! Decades old and still works like a charm!
Hey Guys! I am recovering my my 16th major orthopedic surgery and I have watched tons of your videos. I was a teacher as well. For 22 years. I had to retire early cause of my health. I have been dabbling with making leather wallets and such. But I have this shoe bug going on. I have actually always been interested in cobbling. I am gonna start a pick up and delivery shoe shine service like you guys did. I will start with all my Dr's, who always have nice shoes. I probably won't ever get to be a cobbler cause of my health. But MAYBE!! BTW...I found a $8 pair of Ferragamos that I buy and refurbish for myself. Thank you
Educational, soothing , fun to watch.
I’m so addicted to your videos. I actually just bought a nice pair of Frye boots thanks to you guys. 😁
What an absolutely beautiful job you guys did on those shoes. I've often thought that I'd want purple added to the soles of shoes if I ever got them redone, and you just sold me on it completely. Well done gentlemen!
I marvel at the steadiness of your hands when you are cutting. It’s a nerve wracking thing to watch😅 I love the new close up camera work as well!!! Really great guys!!! Can’t wait for the next one.
Seeing all of the old beat up machinery around your place, makes me think that it would be super cool to see you guys team up with Kilo Restoration or another UA-cam rebuild channel, to have them refurbish it. This old stuff has so much character, but seeing it brought back to life would be really really cool.
Just picked up a nice used pair of Allen Edmonds off of eBay because of you all. Ended up with a pair of Byron's for like 75$ after shipping. With some saddle soap, and some polish they look amazing. Once the soles wear out I'll be sending them your way for sure!
Finally 😎 when the notification came I was frustrated because I wasn't at home and I've been waiting for the first video of 2021 🤣
Happy to see you're back to work and I'm confident this year will be much better 🤠
Love you guys.
Great film chaps! Loving the close ups and showing more of the process😎😎😎
loved seeing the hardware switch out on the press machine
Wow! Another fantastic job! They turned out gorgeous!
Just relaxing with your videos:)
Thanks for sharing
Great work & great video. I appreciate your notation of the verse in I Chronicles - it helps put life in perspective.
The beautiful quality of your videos and craft continues to impress. You're doing great work fellas. 👏 👏 👏
Thank you so much! We always appreciate you watching.
I received your coffee mug! Thanks. By the way, I know you must be fed up of explaining the different steps and even though I've seen all your videos, I always appreciate being told what you're all doing. Beautiful pair of Ferragamo Oxfords! Loved the stitch colour. (Montreal, Canada).
That’s awesome! Hope you like it! We always appreciate you watching.
@garssympa500 I was thinking the same thing. @Trenton & Heath, I think what always makes your videos really special is that you take the time to narrate. In this video it was silence, and I cannot say it was my favorite one. I like knowing what you are doing, why you are doing it, as you do it. I love your work along with all of your other subscribers, but please keep in mind you get new people watching all the time. Your narration IS your super power. Please consider keeping that as a constant. Thank you for this video.
Great work, great video guys. The sounds are very subtle and (somehow) calming
Amazing artistry as usual! If it weren’t for this channel, I probably would not have developed an appreciation for higher-end dress shoes.
Thanks so much! Glad you’re enjoying them.
The shoes look fantastic!. I appreciate the tip on sole dressing; I've never used it, but had thought about it. Also - wanted to mention the exceptional camera work on this one; I really liked the tight shots - I'm sure that's not easy to do and keep steady.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Beautiful craftsmanship the detail in those shoes is so much better than the salvatore ferragamo shoe designers you both deserve the kudos
Thank you so much, Lee! We appreciate that.
The contrast between the purple soles & red stitching looks amazing! Very impressive job.
Thank you so much!
You should get reaction vids from your customers when the shoes are returned
Yeah, and they can put them on too. :)
I’m fascinated by what y’all do, an almost lost art!
Amazing job! Could we get shots of the full shoe in frame? Especially on the after? The clips in this video are a bit too cropped in and we can't enjoy the great work you guys are doing to its fullest!
You guys do such beautiful work. Thanks for sharing!
Great job guys!!! Amazing talent to make me love shoes all over again!
I always think Heath would totally be in the tv series Justified lol 😆
Anyways.. great job boys 😎👍
Haha... thank you!
Great work guys. Keeping it classy. Love the videos.
Excellent job, guys 👍🏻 Best channel on the Tube 👊🏻
Good Lord you made splitting that brand new JR look easy-peasy well done all around as always.
You guys are crazy good! I love watching your videos
Hey guys. Great work as usual. Just have always been interested in & love watching cobbling. Nice video. ♡
You guys are awesome!!! Great craftsmanship!!
Great to see you guys again! Hope you're doing well and the new location has been beneficial for you business. I discovered the art of cobblering from you guys and have been hooked ever since! I'm looking forward to more content, and wish you guys the best in 2021.
Thank you so much! Glad to know you’re enjoying them. Happy new year!
Phenomenal job! Shoes look gorgeous!
The owner obviously wears those often. There is nothing low quality in those shoes. I was afraid the hole in the sole of the one would be an issue, but there was another layer of leather behind it. I have to think you enjoyed working on this pair of shoes, even when they fought being taken apart a bit. Even better, they make shoes in my size! sure they are $800-$1000 a pair, but based on this video, something to at least consider.
Thanks for the video, and thanks for doing my friend, Adam Booth's work boots. They look great. Jon
That's a classy looking shoe, guys. As always... nice job!
These are gorgeous. Great work, fellas.
You guys are so talented. True artists!!!
Thank you, Jeff! We really appreciate it.
Some of the closeup shots in this video, in particular the press and leather sanding portion, should be illegal.
I just love these videos.... So glad I found your channel!! I'm binging all of them.
Pinch and a punch for the first of the year in this case. School kids can be soo mean! I always feel nervous when the Stanley knife is being used. That leather thinning slice and dice was cool. Nice job as always, guys 👌🏻😊
Happy 2021 guys! Cant wait for the timberland videos.
Shoes are popping!!!
They look fantastic!!!
You guys are blessed by God with many talents.

Awesome as always. Thank you guys:) Very relaxing to watch.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing. Wishing you guys also a wonderful new year. Lots of freedom and the end of Covic-19... Namaste 🙏🏻🌈👍🦋
Thank you so much, Monica!

Happy to hear something great started for 2021, shoes look awesome.
Wow the skills of you both is awesome! Incredible work!
Thank you so much!
Happy New Year!
Glad I lazed around this morning before making my morning brew, perfectly timed to watch and sip.
You did another great and comprehensive job, really enjoyed the great camera work. Mahalo!
Thank you so much, Jon! We appreciate you watching, along with that cup of coffee. ☕️
Awesome video and workmanship
Stunning, truly stunning!! Happy New Year.
Great work gentleman. Happy and safe new year to you and your families.
What a wonderful way to start my Saturday, shoes look beautiful.
Thanks for letting us be a part of your Saturday! 👍
Your welcome, wonderful to see a master in his trade work.
Happy New year gents & thank you for an excellent video - the camera work here is superb! Best wishes
I have been watching a ton of your videos since coming over from ABom's channel. I love your stuff, it is so relaxing. One wish I would make - some how, some way, someone needs to put you in touch with Timothy Olyphant and get him to come over so you can re sole a pair of Raylan Givens boots. That would be so awesome.
Like the camera work. Really amping it up.
That knife they use is freaking sharp!
Perfect!
The soles look so good! Can you wear shoes upside down?
😁 Thank you!
Always enjoy you guys. Always wished I had a brother. Have a good year.🤞✌
Been a while man!!! so much love from PH!!!
First of all, I love your work and I wish I had cobblers like you in my country, let alone in my city #Sad. Most cobblers in my city don't know the term goodyear welted shoes, because very few people in my country actually wear quality shoes and most repairs are for like 10-15 bucks a piece ...
Second, Ferragamo shoes can be hit or miss...it's all about your luck. I have seen cemented shoes like the ones Steve from Bedo's Leatherworks repaired a few days ago or even worse with foam type sole, I have seen blake-stitched and goodyear welted.
The only good thing about 2021 so far ;)
SF uppers are very good. This Shoe is testament to that.
Excellent work guys. Keep em coming! 💪🏼🔥💯
Best way to start the morning!!
I hope I have a reason to start wearing my dress shoes again soon so that I can wear down the soles and send them to y'all for new soles.
Great job as always!
Happy 2021 😉 and many more awesome videos to come & happy customers too
Great work Brothers!
They look GREAT !! 😎
Got my gf some of your sandals for XMas in her favorite style and she loves them! They look great and are built way better than the other sandals she has!
Gentlemen, gorgeous work as always, and I loved the glimpses of the tools as usual. Still waiting on that rundown of all the old machine tools. But, as someone who's worked with cutting tools for too many years, I had to say I cringed at the cutting on your glass top. I understand that in the kitchen stores, glass cutting boards are very cool, but you don't see them in high end chef's kitchens for the real work surfaces because glass is really not good for the edges of steel cutting tools. Or, I've been drinking drano for too many decades and it's rotted my brain. Keep up the great work. Y'all make it look fun.
Happy New Year!! Keep the great vids coming pls!
Beautiful job, I loved the purple soles. Stay safe!
Thank you!
Your videos keep getting better! great job! Now I just need to buy some shoes worth sending to you for a resole haha
