the amount of knowledge is remarkable danny, i really enjoyed the videos that you've been dishing out lately, have the exact same vehicle but its 2019 with only 34,000 miles on the clock, gone be handy when those problems occur, My regards ❤
You will want to consult a repair manual for sure, but this was for a 2015 6.2L. They may change specs per year and engine. It should be the same for 2015-2020 6.2L and likely the 5.3L but there are a lot of variables these days

It’s higher than the oil pan, so not much should come out. Some will. I drained the oil later on as this was part of a lifter and cam replacement ua-cam.com/video/cWayyZGNYRI/v-deo.htmlsi=XXlSrpn0TH-kjObT

Thanks for the video makes the job doable for a moderate level D.i.Y. mechanic!!
Really a great detailed video
Wish mine came off that easy. I have 1400lb impact gun and it won’t get it off.
Same problem
Thank you for this video
Thanks
Great video.
Should the front seal be replaced also ?
Ty
It’s a great time to replace it
Nice informative video. Thank you! Can you please clarify what years the torque sequence is good for? Thanks!

Anyone know what size installer screw is needed? The one advanced auto parts rented me isn't long enough
Why was the reason that you change it?

is the cranckshaft balancer bolt reverse thread?
Not on this vehicle
Did it leak oil or you drained it?

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage thanks for the fast response. I had a 2019 come in with a bad harmonic balancer.
If you didn't put a new front main seal in why you take it off

What’s the part number for that installer bolt?

Would that be the same procedure on a 2014 z28 Camaro LS 7
Yes, same process but the puller may be different. Always check for it to be a reverse thread bolt, but it’s not common
