man, when I watch these guides and they start the guide out with a minute long intro, and then spend 20 seconds here and there trying to add corny jokes and personality to it, and then in the next part of the guide they continue to say the same exact things theyve already said in the intro. And when im watching this 38 miunute long youtuber video im literally just sittin there like well I guess I gotta just take it up the ass right now because I need a guide. And then I realize I could have explained this entire 20 minute video in just 10 seconds. Playing this game has made me completely hate youtubers in general.
Best eddited guide of the somber stones so far. So i think this gonna be eternal by now, i dont think we have missed something. Great job, very compreensive guide

If you don’t like pvp you can use the festering finger on magnus’ red summon sign at the writheblood ruins on altus plateau. Killing him advances the quest.
For the Millicent questline, make sure help Millicent defeating her sisters to get the somber smithing stone. Also don't kill Malenia before her questline.

reusable finger counts for this quest, must invade 3 times [losing or winning invasion still counts]. you can kill the servants that conjour the fire frenzy ball to permanently get rid of madness heading up the hill to get the maidens blood. it helps a lot. you cant get affected by the madness once under the ball of frenzy flame so climbing up to kill them is really easy and it only takes 1 to 3 hits. you have to kill them all tho. fastest way to get there is by going through the north eastern raya academy seal at the main entrance

If you need help: If you have killed White Masked Varre and disappointed that you killed him cause you can't go to the Mohgwyn Palace location, don't worry, if you progress through the game you'll reach Mountaintops of Giants soon enough, near Castle Sol, you gotta defeat a boss named "Commander Niall" to get a piece of a medallion you'll need to get to the location you need. After defeating him, find the medallion and get it, the other piece is at the Albinauric Village and the NPC Old Albus will give you a piece of that medallion, after getting all of the medallion's pieces, go to the lift and hoist the medallion or shit, and soon you'll get to a place called like Secret Path of Haligtree or shit. Then, find a way to get to the other side of Mountaintops of Giants and when you get there, you'll soon find the portal.

Old vid but I think that if you get the secret medallion before you talk to Lattena you might get locked out of #3 you need to go through the lakeside crystal cave in south Liurnia and you’ll find her at a shack with her dead wolf there. Exhaust her dialogue and she will become a spirit and you will gather her ashes.
The first part where you have to invade, you don't have to fight the host. I immediately left as soon as I got to the host world. Did it 3 times in a row to get it over with 👍

you can use the finger to invade and use the finger severer and go back to your world without fighting anybody. It would still count as an invasion.
With the update it now takes one win, and u can do a npc, at least offline
