Absolute shoutout to this guy for saying the relevant information regarding the bell bearing without spoiling basically anything about the story or the fight that is necessary to get it, it's the first time i've seen someone so mindful about not spoiling the experience for other players.
@@yoursenpai4010 stop. Why bring politics or the mention of politics into this? It's just a video about getting something that helps players. Don't be that person.
THANK YOU I saw five other videos where people say "all smithing stone bell bearings" and proceed to only show the first two for regular and somber. You're a legend!
I'm pretty sure the Cristalian bosses are also weak to back stabs. I literally beat the first one (in Raya Lucaria Tunnels, start of video) by just spending the fight running around until it was time to backstab. Easiest boss fight.
If you stay in the cave at 1:50. You can farm runes by killing the enemies inside whilst also farming smithing stone 5. The enemies inside that are mining has a chance of dropping smithing stone 5 once killed. You can continually run back to grace once the enemies are cleared out, then rest at grace which respawns the enemies and you can continue farming. A great way of leveling if lower level, earning runes and farming smithing stone 5.
So I have found that the hands at caria manor drop somber smithing stones 2, the hands at the snow/giant area drop somber smithing stone 7. These have been the only enemies I've found that consistently drop somber smithing stones, they drop a lot too. If anyone knows of other enemies that drop somber or regular smithing stones please share.
Sometimes the shadow ghost guards at carian manor will drop like smithing stones 2, just the normal ones, so not worth it at all but I guess it's an option. Lol.
The crystalian spirit summon you get is actually really useful against bosses because of their naturally high endurance. If I need something to soak up damage while I spam spells they are my go to.
Thank you sir! I'm 90 hours into my gameplay and just now realizing there's a difference between somber & normal smithing stones, as well as the upgrade levels. Jeez I've been making this so hard on myself haha

It’d be extremely convenient if you could buy these without the bell bearings, at a huge cost of runes, and when you give them the bell bearing have the price drop down to normal. I understand why they did it, you don’t really need a more than +12/+5 weapon for over half of the game, but it’d be a nice gimmick. Like “you can get overpowered, but it’ll cost like 120,000 runes until you get that bell bearing”
Thank u so much for this video. I was just about to give up, since I ran out it stones to upgrade my weapon and I'm not getting enough runes to level up. At least with the help of this video I can upgrade my weapon. Hopefully that Atlas Plateau region has enemies that drop more runes. I haven't been there yet and I'm level 45
Grind the beastial sanctum until you’re too high leveled for it. Then, work on that guys quest line who calls you maidenless in the beginning and he will open up a really good farming area for you. This is only helped by getting the golden scarab too, you’ll get around 20% more runes by getting it
@@cyraxalpha3174 that spot straight up is the best early/mid farm in the game. You don't even need to kill the dudes, you can shoot a bird and get 10k runes when it kills itself, then reset at the grace.

if you're really early in game and don't have access to area's outside Limgrave - do explorables, lots of smith stones drop as loot. If you find one of those statues with the glowing blue core? get a nearby giant or ogre to smash it trying to kill you in order to crack it open and get the loot inside, which is usually (?) smithing stones.
No idea if this is a glitch, an update or some sort of world difference in the game. But if you cannot find the bell bearing 3 for 5 & 6 somber smithing stone at the location he gives, try checking at the First Church of Marika on a corpse in the front. Happened to me and just found it by accident.
Dude, you were invaluable during my 2500+ hours of monster hunter world. Watched pretty much every video you uploaded as they came. How did I miss this?! (I am subscribed) Got some catching up to do with your Elden Ring videos. Fuck yea!
Hey Arekkz I love your videos. You helped me a ton on Monster Hunter and now your helping me out on Elden ring, which I started yesterday. Thanks man! Also, funny enough I ended up in that cave from a trap.
Should be noted that those freaky hand enemies in the Carian Manor often drop Somber Smithing Stones 2. If not for upgrading weapons, could be useful for selling to get easy runes.
I don't know if anyone else experiences but for the first bell bearing it was a starfalling beast so I guess depends on when you get the bell bearing on what enemy you get
I havent finished the game yet and was planning to max out the inventory with stones so i dont need to find the bell bearings again. Was rune cost the problem for buying more or just underestimated?
@@mmmmmmmmmmm10 underestimated by a long shot. For me I like to try lots of "OP builds" even though I always end back with the same. The runes cost is high as shit for the level 9 somber at 25k each I believe, but with birds perch location and the relic blade it's quick enough to get a good stock pile. But even getting 100 of each and 25 of each glovewort (plus leveling each to 9) took some real farming. My feeling was though I'll never use more than 4-5 of them, might as well have them all leveled. Plus I used one for each dungeon last play through just to say I did.
@@andrewmarceau422 id like to do the same before i finish. Hope to buy at least 30 or so of each somber and find all dragon sombers before end. 30 should be enough right? You never know which weapons will be buffed or nerfed in the future. Didn't know you could get bells for gloveworts but that would be good too, want to try them all out. Do you know if you can get relic blade without finishing the story so I can farm and buy before ng+? Just beat godskin duo first try with only swarm of flies and mimic tear for agro. Want to try mohs spear next on fire giant. Have been stuck on his last 1/4 health with Rivers of blood. Just rerolled from moonveil + boulder which carried me till now. With mimic as agro you can easily boulder from a distance and no-hit bosses. Started my first toon as quality build but had to roll a new intelligence toon bcus bosses were too hard with physical dmg melee and low vigor.
@@mmmmmmmmmmm10 Unless someone can drop one for you, the Relic is the reward from the final boss. The good news is that you get more runes for going NG+ AND you can get to the farming spot super quickly once starting the new game. So its not so bad to wait. Flies and Rivers of Blood carried me through NG5+ so far, so I would for sure say its a decent build for you to work on. Perhaps look out for some of the correct talisman- and if you want throw Blasphemous blade in off hand for some healing. Helps for you and your mimic. With Giant- just be sure to get some licks on left ankle then mount up and get some space. Keep doing that and he's kind of a breeze. What system are you on? I might have an extra sword or 2 I can drop for you.
@@andrewmarceau422 the problem is I'd lose my access to finger maiden shop somber stones so i want to farm for stones now so i dont need to go on this somber bell bearing quest again next journey. Farming with Rivers is too slow. Not the end of the world though, its pretty quick to get all these bearings. Im impressed rivers and flies have got you to ng+5. Where do you pur tour stats, ie all arcane or mix with dex. Haven't optimised talismans really, thats on the list. Running marikas and radagons seals, max weight limit so i can use heavy armour, and incantation increase for flies or successive attack increase for rob. Is there better talismans you run? Need marikas for faith for flies as my starter build has 16 int and 7 faith and strength. I also dont do any buff spells or incantations etc. Just got blasphemous with rememberance duping, havent used. Assume offhand (not holding) still gives buff? With fire giant i was doing as you said, got very close many times (mimic dies 3/4 through battle and hes not great at aggroing giant) but he often 1 or 2 shots me in final phase. Maybe 1-10 more tries and I'd have a lucky run. Im on steam, if you are too I'll give you my tag or vice versa. Cheers
You should definitely add the whole album to your check list as it's an absolute classic. They were under the influence of a certain drug that they were introduced to in the gay nightclubs of New York where they had gone to record their debut album. That drug was medical grade MDMA and it was supplied by the woman who had the only supply, Cindy Ecstasy. There's a remix album released the following year in 1982 Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing that features the lady herself, rapping on the first track Memorabilia which is the first rave record, recorded six years before the rave scene started. Dave Ball, the guy playing all the music, also recorded under The Grid in the 90s, they had a great track Floatation that you might want to check.

@@travdaddy777 it's always existed lol
@Faiz naw bro it hasn't. There's 2 types of smithing stones.
Best video I’ve seen that truly helps you level up weapons, THANK YOU 🙏🏿
@ 3:08 how can you get there on that island? I need to finish the game or a portal or i need to progress further? I haven't battle rykard yet nor the fire giant. What i'm gonna do? Thanks for info! Great vid man! 😁🤟
Kill the fire giant, just a heads up, this will trigger a world event.
@@gerardorivas2811 we just killed the giant. Hahaha 😂 so many tries before me and my friend killed him. Hahaha 😂
@@DDmykel100 lol, good stuff man 👍
@@gerardorivas2811 how do I give the twin maiden husks the bell earrings if they left the round table after the world event?
@@AliFanClubb huh, I didn't even know that was a thing. I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that question.
One of the best videos out there. Good job!
This guide is perfection dude thank you so much.

@@tjugyh it falls off tho so you gotta switch to the really good one further into the game
@@cyraxalpha3174 for sure, but you can legit farm there to level 100 while watching Netflix if you're vibing
@@tjugyh you wouldnt go past 100? what can u farm after 100
Thanks man I just got the rivers of blood and I really want to use it but I used all my somber stones on other stuff and I really want to use the rivers of blood
Him: "then you beat this boss but he's pretty easy"
me: gets mopped a dozen times, watches half a dozen videos on Godfrey the first elden lord, goes back and gets mopped a dozen more times
yup. piece of cake 🤙
Pelt him with poison Arrows and use the great field shield summoning lmfao
I can't kill any bosses either
Brooo thank you! Totally missed the one on the mountaintops of the giants. You’re a legend !
if you're really early in game and don't have access to area's outside Limgrave - do explorables, lots of smith stones drop as loot. If you find one of those statues with the glowing blue core? get a nearby giant or ogre to smash it trying to kill you in order to crack it open and get the loot inside, which is usually (?) smithing stones.
OHHH that’s what the statues do!
how about one lying down statue inside the stormveil castle? it seems unbreakable...but the statue does glowing in blue 🤔

No idea if this is a glitch, an update or some sort of world difference in the game. But if you cannot find the bell bearing 3 for 5 & 6 somber smithing stone at the location he gives, try checking at the First Church of Marika on a corpse in the front. Happened to me and just found it by accident.
yes, is a bug. me too
I have the Smithing Stones [1] and [2] in the shop from the first bell bearing, but they seem to have a finite supply.
How often does it refresh?
They’re infinite
they're infinite as long as you have the runes to buy them
@@vahek.6187 Ahh so I’ll double check that next time. So they’ll only carry as much as I can buy I guess. I did notice the stock seemed to fluctuate
Really helpful because i thought that smithing stones were scarse and do not try new things.
Thumbs up !!!
Keep up the good work.
If you stagger and riposte the crystalline bosses you will do way more damage with your slashing weapons
You make great content thanks for your hard work
Thank you for always having the tips for these games Arekkz
Dude, your video is a god send. Thank you
EXTREMELY good video. Great pacing, great explanations, great information. Thank you and well done.
You made this so much easier for me, plus being a new type of player. Thank you so much
how do I get there? the place at 5:21
You have to burn Erdtree after killing fire giant
Very late game
Really helpful video , had to share with friends . Couldn’t believe you explained all bearings in less than 7 min .
0:30 YEP i need rutes
Dude, you were invaluable during my 2500+ hours of monster hunter world. Watched pretty much every video you uploaded as they came. How did I miss this?! (I am subscribed) Got some catching up to do with your Elden Ring videos. Fuck yea!
It's ALTus Plateau not ATlas. Just thought I'd point that out. Great vid though!
Oh whoops, haha! Thank you :D
@@ArekkzGaming The road to the manor blacksmith isn't showing up for me. Do u know why?
Hey Arekkz I love your videos. You helped me a ton on Monster Hunter and now your helping me out on Elden ring, which I started yesterday. Thanks man! Also, funny enough I ended up in that cave from a trap.
Accurate and to the point. Thanks so much man 🍺. Subbed
Best video regarding this game, so under rated subbing for your efforts
Precise and fast. Good Video !
Thank you man I had no idea what bell bearings were ! Much appreciated 😭😭
Thanks a lot for this awesome video it helps a lot to have people like you who make these videos👍
Clear, concise, and direct. FINALLY.
Finally a good guide about smithing stones!!!
thank you bro you helped so much!!!
Thank you so much bro you made life so easy with the tutorials. I wouldn't be able to finish elden ring in a million years without your help
Thank you for this quick, efficient, no non-sense guide!
Should be noted that those freaky hand enemies in the Carian Manor often drop Somber Smithing Stones 2. If not for upgrading weapons, could be useful for selling to get easy runes.
It's for upgrading advanced weapons
I don't know if anyone else experiences but for the first bell bearing it was a starfalling beast so I guess depends on when you get the bell bearing on what enemy you get
Thank you for this. Its gonna help a lot of players
In the cave for 1 and 2 I found the first 3 on the walls of the cave so if you only need one of each they are right there
This is the best video about these smithing stones. Thank you.
Great video. Exact information we were looking for
Thought I'd wasted a limited resource upgrading the Meteoric Ore Blade... thank god you can just buy them... 🙏
Every playthrough I come back and watch this. So helpful! This run I am just going to buy 100 of each... 50 just want cutting it
I havent finished the game yet and was planning to max out the inventory with stones so i dont need to find the bell bearings again.
I saw a different elden ring video on your channel, subbed back then, the sub definitely payed out 🤓
Great video new game plus can drag so using this video was a must 😂 thank you
Umm thank you, have seen that area pop up but havent got to it yet! This guide helped out though so preciate it!
thank you for this, wish i got all but the one at zamora ruins without help but after a day of looking I had to have it.
Helpful for all the stones except the last, had to watch a different video for that
Best and easiest video I’ve been looking for thanks dude
for the last one you are really vague! where was your starting grace and how did you get to the fallen over piller bridge??????????????????????????????????
Once you got it all, you can easily max upgrade your weapon since you can easily farm many runes on a certain point.
And I used the godskin bell first then came across this video for the others, but now I only can buy smithing stones 6 and not the rest
keep em coming, Arekkz!
i appreciate this video because i was wonder how to get these
