You answered several of my cooking questions, so thank you. Question: I saw you poor oil and then hot water in your rice. Do you boil your rice under fire or just let the hot water cook it while covered?
I bring the water to a boil, then put the flame down very low and cover the rice...when it smells like rice, it's done, normally 20-30 minutes depending on the quantity and how you want it to come out.
