Edward Furlong AND Michael Edwards. Edwards may have only been a cameo with no real lines but he still did a damn good job conveying the man John Connor was meant to be. Always never forget that.

Excellent. For those who were wondering, this is Terminator 2 3D:Battle Across Time, an attraction that was at Universal Studios Hollywood, Florida, and Japan(still might be there). It was directed by James Cameron and considered a mini-sequel to T2. Fun fact, when this opened up in 1996, with a total run time of only 12 minutes, it costed $24 million to create; making it one of the most expensive films per minute ever made. I am a huge fan of the Terminator franchise . And by that I mean only T1, T2, and this is ok too, anything past this doesn't count IMO. Especially in the extended ending of T2, it should have ended like that. RIP.
Wasn't it also at Disneyland? I vaguely remember seeing it, complete with stage actors in front of the screen.

I quite liked Salvation. Sure, it wasn’t the greatest movie by any means, but I loved the concept. But yeah, we could’ve done just fine without T3 and Genysis. I hope Dark Fate is good, but I’m going to walk into the theater with low expectations.
Could be Canon to the story,mostly in the sense that after what happened played such a psychological effect on John Connors mind.That he dremp that up at night verry lucidly at that.

Nope, this is the dumbest story about terminators ever made. It was ok. for entertainment park, especially if guests were drunk or with down syndrome, but otherwise, it's one the stupidest things ever made.

This should have been the real Terminator 3. Inconsistencies can be explained, and it could have given us the Future War film that we always wanted but never really got. 1996 was the perfect time to do a third film. Furlong was still just young enough, and Arnie and Linda could still do their parts convincingly without some bullshit age explaining.
None of that matter now dark fate has destroy the original story

That was awesome! I'm a huge Terminator fan and hadn't seen this in its entirety. I feel like the franchise has so much potential but a lot of it focused on the hunt for John Connor. The chase for Connor should have ended in T2 and T3 could have been about the future.

Went on this ride about 5 times as a kid. Lucky I got to experience this considering they replaced it with Despicable Me. Alot of kids have no idea what they missed out on.

I'm sure Cameron for fixed on making Titanic around the mid 90s due to his love for underwater filming and sea wrecks. Personally I think T2 ended perfectly and didn't need a sequel.. certainly nit directed by anyone else than James Cameron that's for sure
Cameron said he had no intentions for further sequels, believing Terminator 2 "brings the story full circle and ends. William Wisher said that he and Cameron wrote the script with the intention of leaving no option for a sequel. That's why Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines had to cheat the mythology a bit, just so a third film would even be possible, by saying that Judgment Day is "inevitable" and cannot be prevented from happening.

I went on this ride once when i was 16-17 back in '09 can easily say that this was one of the best rides in universal.
I really miss this ride so many fond memories from childhood!
I remember seeing some footage of this on GamesMaster back in '96 and being convinced (at first) that is was Terminator 3 😁 (I was ten going on eleven at the time...)

You can still feel its in the same vein of t2. Every scene doesnt feel like a filler and it keeps your attention in. Cameron directed it if im not mistaken
