Thanks so much for this! Exactly the sort of brisk format overview I've been wanting for SOI Remastered. It's been a long time since I've played Shadows/Eldritch Moon and had forgotten about some things (like Emerge) completely.

Not sure I agree with the rankings being that red has the highest amount of rares that are removal and bombs. I think it's least likely you will find the good stuff in red as it is not that deep. I think blue and green are the deepest and being that blue effectively pairs well with every color I would say it is not the worst. Black on the other hand does not pair greatly with other colors better than red. Black and Green and Black and White are enemy colors that just do not have the greatest support. Black and White has lost support for tokens in this remastered set and is instead half of being a sacrifice delirium deck, half a token deck, half a go wide deck and part life gain... with some rares that play life altering shenanigans.
Black and Green has a few delirium cards that are average, but even the gold cards really have nothing to do with what this deck wants to do. It's a durdley deck with incremental small payoffs. Black and Blue is probably the least supported color combinations... with some zombie and graveyard interactions that just seem a bit lackluster. It also wants to sacrifice but has little payoffs for delirium which are more powerful in green as well as white. With the first bonus sheet, black blue might have a small boost due to the zombie lord but it was the worst combination in Shadows over Innistrad and it seems to have lost support here other than downshifting some uncommons and rares.
I think the best color is probably green and white and black are paired for the worst being that they have the least effective synergies across the board with other pairings. However white has better commons and uncommons in black and a decent blue white flyers deck. My two cents.
I think you’re absolutely right. I really expected blue/black zombie synergies, but they’re just not there. I’m still excited for the white/blue spirits, the black/red madness/vampires, and the blue/green investigate decks.
Red seemed to be the deepest color to me, and it has some stellar Commons and Uncommons, which is why I put it at number one. For archetypes, I think it is important to consider raw card quality in addition to synergies within color pairs, and it is also worth noting that a deck doesn't have to be all in on a particular mechanic to be strong.

Since the set has a tribal (spirit, zombie, Werwolf, vampire) subtheme it would be cool if they would have some cards with the tribal Type in the set to satisfy the players (like me) which where dissapointed that it was not possible in limited yet to buff delirium via tribal cards. Since the set wont make it to the standard pool (or even to paper at all, correct me if i am wrong in that Point) they even had the opportunity to create some new tribal cards with vampire or werewolf type.

So the power level is crazy lower then in newer sets. Had to get used to that. So far blue white spirit's "ups all flyers" seems unbelievable strong

Blue I think you forgot about their 3 mana removal spell
Imprisoned in the Moon is not a good card in my opinion. It has tremendous downside.

I love content like this: when you make videos on your own and didn't seek attention from WoTC, but I don't like all of those videos where you justify WoTC's actions. I thought as a university student you were more critic, Nicolai.
All of the opinions I express in my videos are my own, and I find it a tad insulting that you would think I make videos just for attention from Wizards of the Coast. I have made critical videos in the past and I have made videos where I give praise or justifications, but in all cases I back up my perspective with logic and reasoning.
I agree that being a student in no way shapes whether someone is critical or not. I come at issues from my own perspective and sometimes I decide to share that with my viewers. Often I come from a positive perspective because that's what I like to contribute to the world and it feels valuable to provide an alternate point of view to some of the criticisms I see in the community. I present my thoughts on a case by case basis though with reasoning for my perspectives.
