    Another Harvard tour option is to visit on a Sunday. Students conduct fascinating tours around the campus. There’s no need to book, just show up and join a group tour. At the end you give whatever donation you want. I’m not sure if these tours run all year.

    I want to go on the same trail that Paul Revere went. I think it would be very cool. Great video thank you. 👍🏻

      Ya ready? After 5pm is difficult for any historic buildings as most close around 5pm like the Old North Church.However theres still tons of stuff to see. And it's completely walkable with good shoes (we still have cobblestones).
      First I'd go from Fenway to Newbury Street then through the Public Garden and Boston Common up to the State House. Walk down Park Street take a left and there's a cemetary with nearly everyone you ever read about in grade school. At that point you'll be on the Freedom Trail (there's a red line on the sidewalk to follow) and that will take you through downtown, Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, and then into the North End. At this point all the Italian restaurants will be open so they'll be plenty of people and places to eat. Just be careful, there are a few places on Hanover St. which are pretty touristy. I suggest walking to Paul Revere's House and picking a place near there like Forcella or Isabella. After dinner, grab coffee and sweets at Modern Pastry (if there's no line) and then walk down along the waterfront until you're ready for bed. 😂
      Hope you have fun!!
      P.S. The aquarium is a waste of time, don't bother. 😂

    Why mention Harvard University? It's not in Boston, but near Boston. It doesn't fit here, sorry. You showed Newbury Street, but all the footage you had was a Starbucks chain. Lol.

      Part of Harvard is directly across the river from Boston, in Cambridge. Another part of Harvard is in Allston and in Brighton - both of which are part of Boston. In fact, 360 acres of Allston and Brighton belongs to Harvard - which is larger than the size of most colleges and University campuses in the area. So, yes, Harvard is in Boston - and in Cambridge.

    • @hiphopjewels
      @hiphopjewels 4 місяці тому

      @@kenb3552 I’ve been to Harvard University and it’s location, main campus of the undergrad, the Harvard shown in the video is in Cambridge, MA, not Boston. I grew up in Boston and no one from Boston associates Harvard with Boston. Harvard Business School is in Allston/Brighton and we’re not talking about residence halls and land owned. The part people would want to visit is in Cambridge without a doubt. I worked in Brighton and Harvard isn’t the main attraction there either, Boston College and Boston University are the attractions. The video isn’t about looking at land and acres. Harvard University is not an attraction in Boston, MA. Have you even visited Boston?? Lol. Cambridge is not Boston, and there’s no land Harvard owns in Boston that tourists would want to see. Even Wikipedia knows where Harvard is located.

    I heard Boston sports fans can be notoriously racist. And they also ruin “Sweet Caroline” for everyone else!

    • @jamiemacdonald436
      @jamiemacdonald436 9 місяців тому

      Boston has a horribly racist history in some aspects, but in general it is a very progressive, diverse, and welcoming city. But you are not wrong about Sweet Caroline. I could go the rest of my life without hearing that song again!

    • @kenb3552
      @kenb3552 4 місяці тому

      Have you noticed the rest of the country has started copying the Boston tradition of singing Sweet Caroline at ball games (and at other sporting events as well)?
      As for sports fans being racist - its a bit more complicated than that. Boston fans are known for being extremely AGRESSIVE. They will do anything to get under the skin of the opposing team's players. Unfortunately, for some, that includes hurling racist remarks. Yet, in the exact same moment, those same people will also be the most loyal and supportive fans to a person of color who plays FOR Boston.
      Am I excusing their behavior? No, I think it is wrong. I am, however, explaining it. It doesn't come from a place of authentic racism - just a poor set of priorities.

    • @gracedagostino5231
      @gracedagostino5231 4 місяці тому

      Yes Boston fans are by far the most aggressive in the country, with a few racist thrown in for good measure. I find Philly fans very pleasant and congenial by comparison. @@kenb3552
