Boston is probably the nicest and safest city in the country to visit. So much to do and see. Great food, sports, bars, ocean, cruises, history and walking trails. Fun city. Plenty to do outside the city as well with Cape Cod, MV, Nantucket, NH, Maine. Something for everyone.
I definitely feel that while in Boston. Had some run ins with assholes and ghetto dumps in Salem but other than that in my experience being around the nation. Boston is a very solid city
Caught this video pretty early and just want to say, been watching for at least a year and, you two really seem like great people that approach each video intentionally and it shows! Love watching anything you put out & seeing your personality come through. Your vids have helped me decide on multiple hikes and spots to visit, and as a filmmaker I really appreciate how well your videos are made, I know that takes a lot of work!
Thank you, we really appreciate it. We spend many, many hours researching, planning, storyboarding, and editing these videos. We put every ounce of energy we have into each one. And it means a ton for that work to be acknowledged ❤
Would love to go there, so historical, we just went to Jamestowne, the 1st official successful permanent settlement of the English and its so amazing to see how after 170 years, they were like, nope we want our own Freedom, haha, great video as always, you always make me hungry watching you guys 😂 xoxo Melissa
I'm from Boston, and you two definitely did my city justice! I'm so glad you were able to have so much fun and see everything. Your videography skills are excellent, and everything about this video was so well put together! I can't wait to see the Canadian Marintimes. 😄
I visited Boston in 2012, it was great. Mikes Pastry, Redsox game, Old North Church, cemeteries, the skinny house, North End for italian food, The Bell In Hand, and the rest of the great history. I sat in the red seat for a photo op. The person in the seat was nice enough to let me.
My history loving heart loved this video and I want to go to Boston even more than I did before, and I didn’t think that was possible. Something about the juxtaposition of the old and new buildings looks so cool! Also Kathryn nailed her performance at the Tea Party Museum! 😂
We did a family vacation to Boston last year (as well as other New England spots using your videos as guides), and it was fun to watch this video at the dinner table and have my 6 year old say "We've been there! We did that too!" We also did a Red Sox game and my son was super happy to see you guys did that as well! Thanks for the entertaining family-friendly videos!
Another nostalgic episode! I lived and worked in Boston for 20 years. My father was from Boston and went to Northeastern U. Adam really nailed the accent! We made it to Alaska! Saw Denali yesterday and hiked the Savage River trail. We showed your sign at the sign post forest today in our video!
I go to Boston quite a bit for work and glad you both had a chance to see all of the history. The freedom trail is great and Boston does a great job of preserving it's history with the modern day, unlike a lot of other cities. Boston would have been extremely challenging for you to drive with your camper, and little known fact about Paul Revere, is that he got captured and you can see where at Minuteman Park, which is near Lexington, Concord. Have to try those Cannoli's next time I am there and also visit the Boston Library, sort of reminds me of the Public Library in NYC. Boston is definitely one of my favorite cities in the U.S.
Oh I completely agree. The last time I was in Boston, my son took me on a hike through the city’s most famous landmarks. It was so beautiful, so very enjoyable. Try it out the next time you’re there. You won’t regret any of it.
I’ve been a lurker on your videos since Alaska. Just want to say never stop making videos! I really enjoy your commentary about history, things to do, and your cheesy banter. Your sponsored videos come off as genuine and I appreciate your honesty. I hope to someday go on an adventure with my son and husband and I love the inspiration you provide! This will probably be my only comment on your videos so I hope you guys read it. I’m a fan!
Thank you so much, we really appreciate the kind words! The encouragement truly helps us power through when things get tough ❤️ We hope you get to explore with your family soon!
Salem and Boston are on my bucket list. Love all the history, I can't wait to go. Love the colonial vibes. Adam's face when he came out of the tunnel at the ballpark was priceless. I learned I shouldn't watch your videos on an empty stomach 😅. So much good food. Thanks for bringing us on your adventures. Greetings from San Diego!
Great job!! I did a few days in Boston with my daughter’s senior class trip and I was so impressed with the city and history! I would love to go back and see and experience more! At least I’ll have your video to refer to. I do a lot of my research on TA; I was impressed that they sponsored this video! I was watching other UA-cam videos in reference for an upcoming trip and boy you guys got me spoiled! You are way better than the ones I was watching!
Thank you so much! We were very happy and proud to work with Tripadvisor. We're thankful for their support. We're glad you enjoyed this video and hopes it helps in your planning!
I live in Hingham and near the ferry boat. Lot's of history in the town of Hingham. The Town was founded in 1635 by people from Hingham England. The Town was originally called "Bare Cove". The Lincoln family (Abraham Lincolns family) were some of the original settlers. The Hingham shipyard was owned by Bethlehem shipbuilding company. They built hundreds of LST and Destroyer escorts for the US Navy & British Navy during WWII
Hey great video! I worked in Boston for 35 years. Lived up in Salisbury. Moved to Arizona in 2020. I miss Boston and the food! We'd go to the NorthEnd for lunch alot. Umberto! Artu.. My grandmother was born in the nothing 1904. Yeah I'm Italian. Mom side. Brought a tear to my eye seeing Boston again. ❤
If you ever go to Boston again, look up the huge public parking lot in the town of Winthrop, Massachusetts. It's a public parking lot that serves the ferry boat that you can also take into Boston during the spring and summer months. Winthrop borders East Boston, Massachusetts and would give you pretty easy access to Northshore cities like Salem. In addition to the ferry, Winthrop also has a public bus system(including a stop right in the parking lot of the ferry) that will take you the the T station called Orient Heights which you can take into downtown Boston. So, being a parking lot, there are no hookups, but there is a bathroom open during the ferry's business hours during the day. Cars and trucks are parked there 24 hours a day and I have seen several RVs parked there over the years. One other option in Winthrop is parking along Winthrop Shore Drive. All other streets in Winthrop require a resident parking permit or a visitor's pass. But, Winthrop Shore Drive is a state owned road and do not require Winthrop resident stickers. (All the side streets along Winthrop Shore Drive do require resident parking permits). You would have to be more quiet and stealthy has houses are along the full length of the street, but I have seen vans and truck campers many times.
I'm from Boston! I lived in the Back Bay and worked from Newbury St as a Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and South End realtor in my 20s. I used to take the Hingham ferry on the daily in my 30s to and from my job as a Hotel Sales Manager in Boston. It was a nice little "booze cruise" every night. Faneuil Hall was a fave for shopping and dining. Durgin Park was always a stop for their "Yankee Pot Roast." Quincy Market is very touristy, but also a lot of locals visit too. I can look at the Boston skyline and name every building, I know it like the back of my hand. Fun Fact: I was a sales manager at the Omni Parker House Hotel, and had Boston Cream Pie on the daily. You could've taken the green line T to Fenway. Favorite spot in the North end was Caffe Vitorria for a late night coffee and cannoli. In my late 30s, we lived in Brookline and would watch the marathon runners come up Beacon Street, just past out house. The public library is BEAUTIFUL! They have a beautiful courtyard where one can have a lovely wedding. My BFF's company had a skybox at Fenway and it was the best! Lobster Rolls and Fenway Franks on the included menu.
I have such happy memories of this city, the first time I visited, I was solo travelling and met some of the best people I extended my stay! but that said I was the punch bag for any tour guide - "So where are you folks from?" Me: "Ummmm Britain?!" It was so nice to take a trip down memory lane with this video, and to see new places like the Public Market.
Glad you guys had a great time her. I live in Boston for over 30 years and I have the pleasure to take long walks around time to soak up all the history and beautiful sceneries .
Just landed on this chnl from a suggestion from the YT algo. I'm from Boston and always interested in seeing how tourists view the city that I walk around everyday. Pretty much your adventures through the city were on point. Glad to see you had a great time! I worked for the longest time in the Financial District which you were not far from at South Station (Just a stone's throw away!) Glad to hear you avoided the MBTA and only experienced the Commuter Rail to get to your destination. If you do come back to the state you could always check out the city of Quincy, MA as you were not that far where you were coming in from Hingham (hope you got to enjoy the infamous Wahlburgers restaurant in Hingham too). Quincy is easily accessible on the MBTA redline too and known as the "City of Presidents" with a lot of historical locations to checkout too!
Came across your video and this brought back great memories from my visits to Boston. Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts and experiences. Definitely will be on my bucket list to revisit soon. Those canollis looked delicious. 👌😍
Kathryn....you nailed it! Great job at the Tea Party experience. Adam's excitement was contagious....there's truly no place like Fenway Pahhhhhhk! This was a wicked awesome video!!
Lifelong Bostonian and just wanted to congratulate you guys on a great video. Staying on the south shore with a camper was a great decision. Staying anywhere inside the city is just ridiculously expensive . You guys hits most of the bucket list stops and did a wonderful job showing all of them. The BPL is magnificent and yes, it does remind one of a museum. Great job,, wish the duck boats were running and don't miss a ride on Codzilla the next time. C'mon back soon!
What whaaat!!! You guys spent two days in Boston! So did we except not by choice…got stranded there on our way home from Canada. Enough about that…this vlog was so good! We laughed and thoroughly enjoyed this one! This makes our decision to return to Boston for an actual vacation a no brainer! We did see a few of the sites but we’re definitely limited due to our situation. Katherine you rocked the town hall meeting! That looked like so much fun! Thanks so much for this fantastic, fun, and informative vlog! I only wish I had commented right away cause now you’ll never see this.
Sorry you had a rough time! Hopefully you can get back to Boston and explore it on better terms! There is so much to see and do there! The Tea Party Museum was so fun! We'll always notice your comments, Brad! Leave them any time!
It's so cool that you came to Boston--and awesome seeing you filmed right outside where my office is! But what I really wanted to say is that you picked such great places to see and eat (I used to go to Flour multiple times a day when I worked across the street and I now go tot Boston Public Market all the time for lunch) that I have even more confidence in your recommendations for every place else. Brilliantly done! Also smart to take the ferry and not drive in: A+. Only wish Kona could have gotten a little city time, there are some cool dog runs...will be eagerly awaiting your Canadian maritimes videos. Thanks!
Woohoo! We love it when we get cred from locals! 😊 Yes it would have been a nightmare driving Brisket through those streets! We wish Kona could have experienced Boston. We know she would have loved it too! Thank you!
Great video!! Makes me count down the days until we visit this city even more in september.. love your videos, they never disappoint. If you ever come to Belgium let me know and i’ll show you around my hometown 😄👍🏻
I’ve been following you guys for soooo long I’m so glad you’re in New England. I live in Providence (RI) don’t miss a waterfire if you decide to visit this amazing city and have a fresh lemonade at Del’s. And don’t forget to try a delicious lobster roll with a waterfront view at Blount Clam Shack in Warren 😊
We walked around Providence a bit off camera and it was beautiful! Of course we had a beautiful weather day that day and not the day we planned to film in RI! 😂😰 We tried Del's at the Red Sox game and they were awesome!
The Boston Tea Party museum/experience is so cool. I don't think it was there when I visited in the late '80's. Freedom trail was so informative. I kept trying to imagine how it had been 200 years ago.
Your vacation seems like an unforgettable experience! 🌅 Speaking of which, have you had the chance to explore the features of the new Nomadlane V4 Bento Bag? It could be a game-changer for your travels! 🚀🎒
Excellent video! I too am a big baseball fan. So I love how you clarified that you are NOT a Redsox fan. I’m a Yankee fan and the rivalry between our two teams is legendary 😄👍⚾️⚾️⚾️
Such a great video with so much history! Kathryn, great job on your speaking part! Oh all that yummy food 😋! I love all your enthusiasm in your videos…definitely makes me want to visit all the places❣️😘
Girl you nailed it! The Oscar goes to Katherine for best supporting actress! Adam you are hilarious and the accent is too funny!!! I so enjoy your videos because you know your stuff and you make it fun and you bring it every time!
She said her acceptance speech would include “I would like to thank my parents for putting me in some acting classes as a child…” 🏆 Thank you so much! ❤️
Love this video! I grew up in Massachusetts so we spent a lot of time visiting Boston. I remember going to see the USS Constitution on field trips in school. I'm glad you got to see a game at Fenway Park! GO RED SOX!!!
Thank you, Adam and Kathryn, for the video, reminding me of my fond memories in Boston, my favourite city in the US, 10 years ago as an exchange student to the US :) from Hong Kong
Hi guys. The UA-cam hadn’t been popping you up on my radar so I started to wonder where/how y’all were. Last I knew you were in the Nam. Well now, Boston is no Moab, but cool aquarium and great food in The North End. And cool to see y’all back in-country and traveling the right coast. Best to you.
Fenway is not only the oldest baseball park in America but it's also the oldest functioning sports arena. The second oldest functioning sports arean was the Rome coliseum. Which was active for 100 years.
Oh that is awesome! Congrats! Check out our website as well. We have an accompanying blog post with even more things to see , do, and eat if you still need more ideas! We hope y'all have a great trip!
Loved everything about this video. Having grown up in Hingham and went into Boston often, I would say you nailed it on this visit!! So glad you go to see Fenway and Sox play!!!!
Hey Yall! This video is perfect timing for our family's Northeast visit in October. We have two days dedicated to Boston and Fenway is definitely part of the fun! We are also staying in Quincy, close to the Wompatuck State Park. You may have taken the ferry or the MTBA from Quincy, which I think we will dig in for more information of traveling that way, then we won't have to deal with car parking. Your video shows things to do that wasn't on our list but now we will add the Boston Tea Party experience for sure! Take Care !
Highly recommend the ferry or train! It made it so easy to get around and the ferry was very scenic! Hope you enjoy the Boston Tea Party as much as we did, it was a hoot!
Subscribed! Have viewed many of you VLOG's and love the content. Mix of history, food, and just awesome fun! Like the bloopers too. Sounds like you are having fun. Good job and keep it up. Thanks.
Hey guys, you did a great job on this video. Boston is such a great city with amazing architectures. What an awesome tour of Fenway. I'm a huge Red Sox. I'm glad it didn't rain too much and that you enjoyed yourselves so much. Yeah unfortunately the East coast is not great for van lifers. Sorry about that. I wish it was better. Being a van lifer is on my bucket list someday. Enjoy Canada and be safe ❤
Neato!! You guys can make any place seem really fun 😜😊... And you always make me really hungry! Great shots! Hey - on an aside saw a video released about 8 days ago that was using some of your footage of Pismo - even Adam and Kona running on the beach and a bread bowl shot . If you have those available for stock 😊 if not😡. Thought I'd let you know!!!!!
I was lucky enough to work in Boston a couple days a week this Summer and got to see many of the sites you did. I walked past the Boston Tea Party Ships many times as I could see it from the window of where I worked. Man, I still get chills when someone brings up the Marathon Bombing. No Sweet Caroline. I know you can't have the audio but we would have understood it. You don't go to Starbucks when you are in New England, you go to Dunkin' Donuts aka Dunks.
Boston was so fun to explore! We actually didn't stay long enough to hear Sweet Caroline! We lived in Seattle for 3 years so if there is any chain we visit it's usually Starbucks 😊
Thank you for showing Boston. Now that is one place that I HAVE been to. I have seen most of the places that you went to. I saw Fenway Park, but did not go to a game. Sounded like fun!

It depends on which part of Boston....it was very dangerous and the people were rude.
I definitely feel that while in Boston. Had some run ins with assholes and ghetto dumps in Salem but other than that in my experience being around the nation. Boston is a very solid city
@@beatricesiaw8776 you need to try pretty hard to get into the dangerous parts

Beautiful I love this city
Nothing is better than Boston on a Sunny day
Yeah
I visited Boston in 2012, it was great. Mikes Pastry, Redsox game, Old North Church, cemeteries, the skinny house, North End for italian food, The Bell In Hand, and the rest of the great history. I sat in the red seat for a photo op. The person in the seat was nice enough to let me.

the fact that you guys went to Umberto means you did Boston right. Well done, -local guy
Boston!!! Open to all parties, influenced by none!
I really fell in love with Boston and New England. Modern Pastry was the best IMO.
Amen, Modern Pastry is better
Modern is the best....and most people sleep on Bova's too. Mikes is fine, but I don't think it's the best
Bova’s over all

Thank you!
Such a fun video! I love Boston! The amount of time and thought you put in to your videos really shines through!
Thank you!
Best hiking mountain climbing videos I’ve seen on UA-cam.. Havr to put that out there!! 😮😮😮
Flour Bakery is one of my FAVES. they have at least 2-3 locations in Boston. The coffee, baked goods and sandwiches are OFF THE HOOK.
You guys nailed the Boston video. I've lived here my whole life, so I can tell a good review when I see it.
Thank you so much!
Went to Boston in June beautiful city loved doing freedom trail had a lobster roll beautiful city
Great video!! Makes me count down the days until we visit this city even more in september.. love your videos, they never disappoint. If you ever come to Belgium let me know and i’ll show you around my hometown 😄👍🏻
Boston girl here ! Next time you come visit the Isabella Stewart Musuem they have great events as well.
We tried Del's at the Red Sox game and they were awesome!
The Boston Tea Party museum/experience is so cool. I don't think it was there when I visited in the late '80's. Freedom trail was so informative. I kept trying to imagine how it had been 200 years ago.
From Boston myself! loved your video.
You guys did such a great job on my city I’m subbed and all in! Thank you! Can’t wait to see more places through your eyes!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
I really liked Boston when I went. There’s so many awesome things to do there.
This looks like such a fun place to visit. 🌻🐕🥰
4:08 ya gotta send a post card from the halls. It has it's own zip and post mark...which is kinda cool.
Your vacation seems like an unforgettable experience! 🌅 Speaking of which, have you had the chance to explore the features of the new Nomadlane V4 Bento Bag? It could be a game-changer for your travels! 🚀🎒
What a great tour of Boston, so much to do! Thanks for taking us along! 👏❤️
So glad you used “wicked” properly!! Haha. Great video of Boston, you represented it well! And so glad you got to visit Fenway!
Excellent video! I too am a big baseball fan. So I love how you clarified that you are NOT a Redsox fan. I’m a Yankee fan and the rivalry between our two teams is legendary 😄👍⚾️⚾️⚾️
Haha, you sound just like my partner! We were wondering the same thing! 😂
Thanks! Yeah I'm not a Red Sox fan, but I'll be honest...I'd root for the Red Sox before I rooted for the Yankees 😂 the rivalry is fun though!
Such a great video with so much history! Kathryn, great job on your speaking part! Oh all that yummy food 😋! I love all your enthusiasm in your videos…definitely makes me want to visit all the places❣️😘
Looks like you took the commuter rail to Fenway. Smart and a true locals move!
I went to Boston last year, it was simply amazing, I can't wait to get back there one day
Girl you nailed it! The Oscar goes to Katherine for best supporting actress! Adam you are hilarious and the accent is too funny!!! I so enjoy your videos because you know your stuff and you make it fun and you bring it every time!
She said her acceptance speech would include “I would like to thank my parents for putting me in some acting classes as a child…” 🏆
Thank you so much! ❤️
Love this video! I grew up in Massachusetts so we spent a lot of time visiting Boston. I remember going to see the USS Constitution on field trips in school. I'm glad you got to see a game at Fenway Park! GO RED SOX!!!
How'd y'all miss Beacon Hill? And you were right next to it at the Public Garden. Hands-down the prettiest neighborhood in Boston.
Thank you guys for putting this video out for my amazing city!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Live outside of the city for 2 years.love Boston
One of my new favorite videos of yalls'! Thanks for bringing us along as always! ❤
Great video! The ferry from Hingham was my commute to work for a year. LOVED it
Love the Boston accents!
Thanks again for sharing your adventures.
I am so jealous!!!! I love the Red Sox so much and this is so on my bucket list!!!! Can’t wait to see this city ❤❤
Fenway is not only the oldest baseball park in America but it's also the oldest functioning sports arena. The second oldest functioning sports arean was the Rome coliseum. Which was active for 100 years.
Oldest MLB stadium, but Rickwood Field in Alabama is technically the oldest baseball park in the US
Thanks for sharing!
I love Boston! Thanks for making this video guys brought me right back.. enjoy Canada!!
I can't believe you were staying at Wompatuck. I live 10 minutes from there! Loved the scenes from my hometown! Glad you enjoyed Boston.
That’s awesome video, guys! It’s great to see you at Fenway Park! Go Red Sox!!!!!
Made a list for my gf and I 3rd anniversary trip we are taking to Boston great video!!! Thank you!!
Thanks so much!
Thanks.
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Glad you liked Boston !
There are still many places to see. I want to go again!
The east coast is tough for van life for sure! We make it work, but our wallet suffers a bit haha. Thank you for watching and the kind words!
Back in the day got scalped tickets for Fenway Park. 4th row behind home plate. On TV every pitch.
Great video! I will be spending 2 days in Boston in July, but I might need to add a day or two. Looks like a fun place to explore. Thanks!
We hope you have a blast! It's an amazing city!
Wompatuck is a very cool campground because it use to be a old naval base with a couple bunkers to explore.
Wow! What a library 📚!!!
Uh oh! No one ever licensed that from us. Can you send us the link to the video? Thanks for letting us know!
