That engine sound is INCREDIBLE!!
You flew right over my apartment. I hear that flight flying over me on the weekends.
I like the 767 400 it's like a miniature 777 300

I saw you overflying Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8). Beautiful video. Great job!!!
Cool video! I remember when I took this flight 2 years ago and I loved it! :)
can't beat that sound, i love it...very nice footage...
believe it or not, the 767 was the quietest passenger aircraft of its time... described as no louder than highway traffic. (:
Chris H. Great aircraft. I have flown on it many times on domestic and international flights. Note: I am not a pilot. 😀😀🛫✈️🛬
We flew from Houston to Honolulu in May 2011. We also flew first class. It was the first time for both of us to fly first class and it was a great experience. When we return to Hawaii, we'll fly first class again. It cost more, but it was worth it for us. We felt so rested when we landed. Continental was a great airline.
Someone give that pilot a ticket for speeding on the ramp
I remember that engine sound very well as the 767-400ER was the very first wide-body jet I’ve ever flown in.
out of all my years in houston, I have yet to go further than Calgary, Canada. I think this december, my family and I are taking Emirates or Qatar Airways out of IAH to India. Cant wait b/c I have never been in terminal D.
I wish i could be on 767-400
I love airplanes
Great sound !
i love the tension at takeoff.
40 long seconds from full spool-up to rotation....YIKES!
The beaches are awaitin'!
Those are not Rolls Royce Engines... you can tell from the distinct humming sound you get from a Turbofan Engine. Still... they are nice... but I love a Rolls Royce Engine more! :)
@Airshowlover100 haha hurrying to get to paradise!
nice video thanks for sharing.. what row were you sitting? I'm also going to Honolulu from Washington in June in their First Class too
Thank You
i get to see this flight go over my house everyday as it crosses highway 290 and sometimes United uses a 772
Nice!!!!!!!!! Engine
@geegang book a long flight with it as the plane! there you go!
@TheAviation98 Thanks! I know! i miss it already!
7.5 hours of purgatory if something triggers and you gotta drop a deuce...
It just looked fast from the inside.
Love boeing.alot
this will be our first time to Kona Hawaii and Honolulu, I'm staying at Hilton Waikoloa for 5 nights and 2 nights at Hilton Hawaii Waikiki village.
were you guys late or something????
you get to your destination quicker when you got a pilot in a hurry.
Was this flight 1? Because at that time, one of the IAH-HNL flights, the morning flight, continued on to Agana, GU (GUM).
do you remember if this jet had AVOD in the seats or was it a domestic configured jet?
Would someone be able to tell me what kind of engine this is?The sound is very intresting to me after hearing a 777 on a previous video. GE Pratt Whitney????
taxiing so fast..
@vzclubbie I know right! thanks!
it only about 15 knots. average taxi speed on open taxiways.
@raazmatazz94 haha Hawaii's the furthest i've gone now and im still yet to fly out of terminal D! this flight was out of E!
Now I know why it taxied so fast, he was a continental pilot
GE??..they sound more like Trent 900
What seat Were you in?
I said about 15 knot. I wasn't on this flight with a speedometer to accurately measure the taxi speed.
those are GE engines
he proberly taxis faster then he flys :/
is that a cf6 engine?
sounds and looks like the GE! :D
Chris H. That's a Pratt & Whitney engine ... PW4062 ... FYI :)
Jeff Davis Continental/United NEVER put P&Ws on their 767-400s... FYI :)..........
yes
Chris H.
Actually, Chris ... you're right. They are equipped with CF6 engines. It sounded like the P & W, my bad. I actually had to look it up. You got me !! Ha ha !!
nope. GE-CF6
