have u got any more information on how to do this do i need to remove the square black pad and solder a wire to it bridged to first pin where the resistor was
@@dako76 ok thanks im doing this to old beecore v2 same thing diffrent layout have any advice for finding what resistor goes to what fet like is there a way to know what side of the fet is the first pin
Great work Daniel!! I have different layouts on my F3 flight controllers, what are you bridging? Any chance of a build video of the individual steps? Everybody has been looking for this!! :D
Hi Leon, i just make a bridge for better contact to the signal pin you can look at 0:55 in the video where i show a picture. you did not need the bridge you can solder direct to the pin. Individual steps which are not in the video is just unsolder the two components on the picture which are "red" marked. Just use the output from which motor M1,M2,M3 or M4 you liket to use. If you have more question, just ask me.
Daniel Köttel Hi - weisst du ob man an Stelle von servos auch einfache brushed motoren anschließen kann, die dann vorwärts und rückwärts drehen können?
Hi just watching you video going to do the same but was wondering do I need to remove the MOSFET and resistor or could I just solder the servo to the resistor to get signal ?
Hey thank you for the video. I know it is a bit older but never the less I tried your setup. But as soon as i want to spin up the motor it is stuttering. The motor is fine because when i switch to the quad config it is working as expected. Do you have an idea why?
@@dako76 Motor mapping is correct. The only thing i did differently is, that I use M2,M4 for servos and M3 for Motor. The Ressources seems to be assigned correctly, because everything reacts as it should. Only the Motor stutters on throttle. I guess it is DMA problem. Thank you for reply
i do the same (but not make bridge just connect to pad). 1-st time servo move but...but i have some problem with betaflight configuration... i think. can you please dump your files. wanna search mistake in my servo options. maybe not enable something... maybe not configure servo right....
Nice, exactly what I was searching for

Yes, it is just for better place for solder the wire. You see it at 0:56 in the upper i have two servos in the lower for the motor

@@sket123flamez7 sorry no, look more complicated, i would not do this on beecore v2
@@dako76 thanks and yeah i know i have been trying to find information about doing it for years science i first saw your video

Should be possible but i am Not responsible for Damage 😁

Motor mapping is correct? Try to change PWM setting and Look what is different to your quad settings….

@@marcusp2905 Try to Check if Motor is configured as Brushed or what you are using.
Why did you add the diode on board?
reverse polarity protection if servo is moved or blocking, but it is not necessary
Can I use a servo on motor pad and still use the board as a quadcopter on the f3 evo board the has 6 motor outputs ?
Yes you can
Lol how , please and thanks

What battery do you use in this video - 1S or 2S? What is the purpose of the diode?
Ramas Noramas you can use 1S or 2S you have to change the switch on the fc board
Awesome m8 doing the same myself
Derek Rowe Danke Schön für diesen Video. Ganz informativ!
