Loved this solid glute/leg workout! Great job everyone - this was tough! My intention is to avoid sugar. All temptations are out of the house. I will only allow myself a small treat on Thanksgiving. We got this!
This time of year is hard for me. I eat more, i out on weight and it happens every year. The more I try not to, the more miserable I become. So, this - knowing that building muscle means more calories - I'm going to focus on lifting heavy and using it to my advantage. I managed to push into my 20kg (44lbs) on Saturday and did it again for the last round of the first exercise and for the single leg squats at the end and it's great to have something positive to focus on. I'm also pausing the video to stop my heart rate getting too high as that triggers a migraine but it does mean I have time to adjust weights. I still get a good high heart rate without tipping it over into HIIT levels.
I so did not want to work legs this morning, but i do what Sydney says 😂 and im so glad i did! I felt so strong this entire workout! Loved it today ❤❤❤
It felt so good to be back working out with Sydney!!! Congratulations on baby #2!! I kind of missed the exciting news. We've been on vacation, and I wasn't on my phone as much and enjoyed family time. Also, I had to modify a bit today. I wore what I thought was my nice shoes to disney (brooks), but I guess they need to be replaced because I ended up with 2 really bruised big toes 🤦♀️. Does anyone have good walking shoe recommendations?!?!

I don’t normally eat before but if I’m feeling really hungry I eat a chocolate rice cake with peanut butter and a banana!!! Good carbs and some protein .
