I have never felt as sad for any politician as much as Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman. This is the only guy who would've been able to save Karachi and look at how he was treated in the election. This should just be proof enough for all those illiterate people that a good person would never ever be allowed to step up because they would actually care for the general public rather than filling his pockets

I guess this man is the perfect one to represent Karachi being as a Mayor or CM though i am not a Jamat e islami fan but i like him as an individual as he himself is karachite and can highlight and solve our issues in a better way than anyone else. I
But you will not vote for him because you are not a Jamaat fan, even though Jamaat has produced gems like him, Naimatullah Khan and Abdussattaar Afghani in the past. You will vote for pti, ppp or mqm.

Don't get me wrong and sorry if I seem harsh but it seems we are all munaafiqs and the only ideologies we go for are along the lines of "jiay bhutto", " jamhooriat behtareen inteqaam hai", "vote ko izzat do", " humain manzil naheen rehnumaa chaahiay", and "tabdeeli ki sonaami" (again, not talking about you).

not really. there is public transport, but it still has massive accessbility issues. still a lot needs to be done. Pakistani cities are mostly car dependent cities.

Karachi ke population hai 2.5 to 3 Crore or sirf Karachi mein 9255 buses 🚌 active hai or aik bhi local trains 🚆 nahi hai.
Mumbai ke population hai 2.7 to 3 Crore or Mumbai mein 19867 buses 🚌 active hai or Mumbai mein 2500 se local trains active hai.

Add up 9.5 Lacs autos which are relatively cheap for short distances. Correction fleet of BEST buses is ~3200 and local train 2,342 and 10 metro lines covering 200 stations

There used to be local train up till early 90s, but it's railway line passed through some areas of the city where mqm activists fired upon it, so after some incidents it stopped and now only main line (landhi to can't/city) works. So you see the so called "karachi kay baytay" are the most responsible for this mess.
